SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. (Eastern Time [“ET”]) on February 25, 2008 and ends at 11:59 p.m. (ET) on March 23, 2008. ELIGIBILITY: To enter the Sweepstakes you must be (i) a legal resident of the Continental United States or DC, (ii) between the ages of 7 and 15 at the time of entry, and (iii) be physically located in the U.S. at the time of entry. The Sweepstakes and any web site pages and advertisements relating thereto are intended for viewing only within the United States. Employees, officers and directors of Sweepstakes Entities and their immediate families (parents, children, siblings and spouse, regardless of where they live), and members of their households (whether related or not), and those winners who have won a grand prize in any Nickelodeon sweepstakes/promotion in the twelve (12) months prior to the start of the Sweepstakes Period, are ineligible to participate in this Sweepstakes. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ENTRIES: Each entrant warrants and represents that the use of the materials submitted in this Sweepstakes will not violate the rights of any third parties. Entries must be in keeping with Sponsors’ positive image, as determined by Sponsors in their sole discretion. Any materials containing obscenity, crude language, or descriptions of a violent or sexual nature (as defined solely by the Sweepstakes Entities) will not be accepted and the associated Entry will be disqualified. DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION: The Sweepstakes Administrator, whose decisions are final and binding in all respects, will select a potential prize winner (“Potential Prize Winner”) by conducting a random drawing within one (1) day of the end of the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning a prize depends on the total number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The Potential Prize Winner will be notified by email at Sweepstakes Administrator’s discretion within twenty four (24) hours of being selected. If the Potential Prize Winner cannot be contacted within two (2) business days from the first notification attempt, then such person will be disqualified and another Potential Prize Winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries received. PRIZING: Grand Prize: One Grand Prize winner will have the choice of one of three ways to view the Kids’ Choice Awards. The exact date of the event is to be determined at the time Prize is awarded based on (i) winner preference and availability and (ii) subject to verification and qualification of Grand Prize Winner by Sweepstakes Entities. Prizes are subject to certain restrictions and event timing. All prizing must be confirmed by 7/15/08. All meals, ground transportation and incidentals not described herein and incurred by Winner will be the sole responsibility of the Winner’s parent or legal guardian. If Grand Prize Winner selects Prize Package 1 or Prize Package 2 and resides within a sixty (60) mile radius of the trip location (a “local resident”), in lieu of the round trip coach air transportation portion of the Prize Package, Winner will receive round-trip limousine transportation of Sweepstakes Entity’s choice for Winner and his/her guests from Winner’s residence to the venue. No compensation will be awarded in lieu of the difference in the ARV for the Grand Prize for a local resident and the ARV for the Grand Prize for a Winner who is not a local resident. If the winner selects Prize Package 3, the prize will only be fulfilled in 2009. First Prize (100): Each First Prize winner will each receive a KCA T-Shirt (ARV: $25.00). GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS/RESTRICTIONS: No transfer, substitution, or cash equivalent for the Prizes is allowed except at Sweepstakes Entities’ sole discretion. Sweepstakes Entities reserve the right in their sole and absolute discretion, to substitute a prize or prize component with a prize of equal or greater value if a prize component cannot be awarded as described for any reason. RELEASES/TAXES: Before a Potential Prize Winner will be deemed an Official Prize Winner, he/she and his/her parent or legal guardian will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and a Publicity Release (except where prohibited) (the “Affidavit/Release”) within five (5) business days of Sponsor sending documents to Potential Winner. Except where prohibited by law, the Winner’s entry and acceptance of a Prize constitutes Winner’s and his/her parent’s permission for the Sweepstakes Entities and those acting under their authority to use the Winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and address (city and state only) on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, in perpetuity and for advertising or promotional purposes without review or further compensation to the winner. The Affidavit/Release must be returned by the deadline stated in such documents. If the documents are not returned within that time, or Winner is found to be ineligible, or does not comply with the Official Rules, then the Potential Prize Winner will be disqualified. A prize or prize notification being returned as undeliverable will result in disqualification of such Potential Winner. All federal, state or other tax liabilities (including income taxes) arising from the Prize contained in this Sweepstakes will be solely the responsibility of the Official Winner’s parent or legal guardian. All travelers will be required to sign a travel release prior to ticketing. SWEEPSTAKES CONDITIONS: This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. In the event a Potential Prize Winner or Winner is disqualified for any reason under the provisions of these Official Rules, such winner and all rights to any prize will be forfeited in its entirety. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other cause beyond the control of the Sweepstakes Entities which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sweepstakes Entities reserve the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Sweepstakes is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problem, the Sweepstakes Entities may, in their sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Sweepstakes to address the impairment and then resume the Sweepstakes in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) cancel the Sweepstakes and award the prize from among the eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment Sweepstakes Entities shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions whatsoever by any performer(s)/event(s), air carrier(s), hotel(s), or other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services and accommodations to passengers including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. The passenger contracts in use by the airlines or other transportation companies shall constitute the sole contracts with respect to the Winner's and his/her travel companion transportation and such contracts shall be solely between the Winner, his/her travel companion and such transportation companies. Sweepstakes Entities shall not be parties to such contracts and shall assume no responsibility in such connection. Sweepstakes Entities shall not be liable for any loss or damage to baggage or the loss, theft or damage of cash, cameras, jewelry, securities, heirlooms, negotiable papers or other valuables. If the Winner becomes disabled or cannot otherwise fully enjoy the Prize package due to illness, Sweepstakes Entities shall have the option of: (1) being relieved of liability for fulfillment of the Prize award; or (2) at Sweepstakes Entities’ sole discretion extending the period during which such prize may be awarded for a period equal to the duration of the Winner's disability or illness, in which case certain prize components may not be available. The Winner must prove such disability by a doctor's certificate. Sweepstakes Entities’ failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
