  1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. You must have internet access to enter. Open to residents of the Contiguous United States and the District of Columbia, ages five (5) years to eighteen (18) years at time of entry. Void in Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and where prohibited or restricted by law.

  2. TO ENTER: Visit www.nick.com/ads/newlinecinema/raiseyourvoice/ starting at 12:01 pm Eastern Time (ET) September 23, 2004 until 11:59 PM ET on October 10, 2004. Complete all required fields on the Sweepstakes entry form available at www.nick.com/ads/newlinecinema/raiseyourvoice/ and submit the entry on-line as indicated. Entries that have been tampered with, altered, are incomplete or inaccurate shall be void and ineligible for the drawing. By submitting an entry form, entrant (or their parent or legal guardian if entrant is a minor in their jurisdiction of residence) is agreeing to be notified by email if he/she is chosen as a Potential Winner in the Sweepstakes. By entering, entrant (or their parent or legal guardian if entrant is a minor) acknowledges compliance with these official rules including all eligibility requirements. New Line Cinema, MTV Networks, Nickelodeon Online, their parent, subsidiary and affiliated companies, licensees, advertising and promotional agencies, and any other sponsors (collectively "Sponsors") are not responsible for late, lost, misdirected, incomplete, undeliverable, destroyed e-mail or entries; or system errors or failures, or faulty transmissions or other telecommunications malfunctions and/or any hardware or software failures of any kind, or lost, non-accessible or unavailable satellite/network/web site/ISP/Usernet connections, or failed, incomplete or garbled computer, cable or telephone transmissions, or for any problems or technical malfunction(s) of any telephone or cable, network or lines, computer problems or traffic congestion at the ISP, on the Internet, or at a Website, or combination of any of the foregoing. Further, no responsibility is assumed for any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from entering the Sweepstakes or downloading any material for the Sweepstakes, or for other telecommunications or cable malfunctions which may limit or bar an entrant's ability to participate. Sponsor and New Line Cinema is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate information caused by hacking, tampering or unauthorized third party intervention. Sponsor and New Line Cinema may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or winning a prize if, in its sole discretion, it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices (including the use of automated quick entry programs) or intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Sponsor's representatives. If for any reason this Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to, by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of Sponsor which, in the sole opinion of Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the promotion, then Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend this sweepstakes, and select winners from Internet entries received prior to the action taken. Should the Sweepstakes be terminated or cancelled prior to the stated expiration date, notice will be posted on the website, and any entries received prior to the termination or cancellation will be included in the drawing. Collection of personally identifiable information will be in accordance with the Nickelodeon Online Privacy Policy as posted on www.nick.com. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, MTVN RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

  3. Sweepstakes commences at 12:01 pm ET September 23, 2004 and ends October 10, 2004 at 11:59 ET (the "Promotional Period").

  4. The Concept of the Sweepstakes: One (1) potential grand prize winner and 100 potential first prize winners (each a "Potential Winner") will be selected in a random drawing by an independent judging organization on or about October 18, 2004 from all eligible entries received. Limit one prize per e-mail address, household/individual. Odds of winning will depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Winners will be notified by email on or about October 20, 2004. In the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple users having the same email account, the authorized subscriber of the email address used to enter the Sweepstakes at the actual time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant and must comply with these rules. An authorized account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning email addresses and the domain associated with the submitted email address.

  5. OPT OUT: The parent and/or legal guardian of each entrant will be sent a notification email upon electronic submission of the online entry form confirming entry into the sweepstakes and providing the option to withdraw entry. If the option to withdraw is not exercised within the time period indicated on such notice the entry will be deemed submitted.

  6. The Potential Winners will be notified by email pending prior approval from the parents or legal guardian as indicated above. To be considered an official winner, Potential Winner's parent and/or legal guardian will be sent a Fulfillment/Approval sheet by email to print out and send to fulfillment house indicated on the form within 5 business days. If Potential Winner fails to respond within 5 business days of being notified Potential Winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be chosen from the remaining eligible entries. The Fulfillment/Approval sheet must be sent to the address indicated on the Fulfillment/Approval sheet with a parent and/or legal guardian's original signature.

  7. The prizes are as follows: Grand Prize (1): One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a check for $1,000.
    First Prize (10): Ten (10) First Prize Winners will receive:
    • 2 movie passes to see "Raise Your Voice." (ARV $20)
    • 1 Raise Your Voice Movie Posters (ARV $15.95)
    • 1 copy of Hilary Duff's CD (ARV $15.98)

    Total estimated retail value of each First Prize: $51.93. Estimated retail value of all First Prizes: $519.30

    Estimated Retail Value of all Prizes: $1,519.30


  8. All prizing is non-transferable and has no cash equivalent, except as indicated. Merchandise cannot be returned for cash. Substitution of prize by winners is prohibited. Sponsors reserve the right in their sole discretion in the event of prize unavailability to substitute any prize with a prize of comparable value. In the event that a winner chooses not to accept his/her prize, or is unable to be notified, an alternate winner will be randomly selected from all of the remaining entries. Grand Prize Winner (or their parent or legal guardian if entrant is a minor) is solely responsible for any and all insurance, registration, applicable federal, state, and local taxes, and any other fees and expenses related to Sweepstakes and/or prizes.

  9. Sweepstakes not open to employees of sponsors and their immediate families. Grand Prize Winner (or their parent or legal guardian if entrant is a minor) must prove eligibility by executing an Affidavit of Eligibility. Winner (or their parent or legal guardian if entrant is a minor) must execute a Release, (i) releasing Sponsors, and their respective employees, officers, and directors from any liability, claims, demands, and causes of action from personal injury and/or damage, theft, or loss suffered in connection with this Sweepstakes or the use, misuse or acceptance of the prizes or any portion thereof to be eligible; and (ii) where permitted by law, granting Sponsors the right to use his/her name, voice, and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation. Entry into Sweepstakes constitutes winner's (or their parent or legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agreement to sign such releases and any other legal documents that Sponsors may require. Receipt of any of the prize components of this Sweepstakes is conditioned upon compliance with any and all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations. Noncompliance will result in disqualification of winner. All entries become the property of Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned except as indicated.

  10. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants (or their parent or legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsors, which are final in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
