In the themepark world, Nickelodeon Recreation has installations at Universal Studios in Orlando and Hollywood. They also have "Nick Central" lands featuring branded rides, attractions, live stage shows, costume characters, merchandising and food service at five Paramount Parks throughout North America. Recreation has also made it's presence known internationally with Nick Central at Dreamworld on Australia's Gold Coast - the first Nick branded themepark outside the U.S.

Among the many past successes are projects based around the hit Nickelodeon properties like Rugrats, Blue's Clues and Dora the Explorer. The newest live theatrical offering, "Dora the Explorer Live - Dora's Pirate Adventure" has sold over 700,000 tickets since its launch in January 2005, including a record-breaking two week run at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The tour will continue to travel throughout 2005 and will hit new markets in 2006. Nickelodeon Recreation also has a thriving Event & Costume Character appearance division with over 50 events and 600 costume character appearances completed each year both domestically and in international markets.
