Step 1: Pick a date that works for everyone who wants to PLAY! (Remember, Oct 2nd is Worldwide Day of Play) |
Step 2: Go shopping. Check out the supplies list… |
Step 3: Figure out how many games you'll be playing and let all of the players know they can try as many games as they'd like to. |
Step 4: Decorate. Energize your event by hanging up Let’s Just Play game signs, printing logos and making awards. |
Step 5: Assign leaders to each game and decide where each game will be played Let the game leaders describe how their games are played and make sure every player feels like a winner! |
Step 6: Let the players know that if they play at least 10 of the 15 games they'll get a Player certificate. |
Step 7: Start the music and tell all the players "On your marks, get set, GO!" |
Step 8: Encourage each player to run a little faster, roll a little longer and try and get that heart rate thumping. |
Step 9: PLAY, PLAY, PLAY! |
Step 10: Let the game leaders make up goofy awards to give out to the players, like... “Most Games Played”, “Best Team Sport”, “Happiest Player” |
