About Nick

How to Plan a Let’s Just Play event in your town, school, club, gym or even your backyard!

Step 1:

Pick a date that works for everyone who wants to PLAY! (Remember, Oct 2nd is Worldwide Day of Play)
Step 2:

Go shopping. Check out the supplies list
Step 3:

Figure out how many games you'll be playing and let all of the players know they can try as many games as they'd like to.
Step 4:

Decorate. Energize your event by hanging up Let’s Just Play game signs, printing logos and making awards.
Step 5:

Assign leaders to each game and decide where each game will be played Let the game leaders describe how their games are played and make sure every player feels like a winner!
Step 6:

Let the players know that if they play at least 10 of the 15 games they'll get a Player certificate.
Step 7:

Start the music and tell all the players "On your marks, get set, GO!"
Step 8:

Encourage each player to run a little faster, roll a little longer and try and get that heart rate thumping.
Step 9:

PLAY, PLAY, PLAY!
Step 10:

Let the game leaders make up goofy awards to give out to the players, like...

“Most Games Played”, “Best Team Sport”, “Happiest Player”
