On October 1, 2005, the Worldwide Day of Play, Nickelodeon is asking viewers to make some extra time in their day to PLAY and celebrate PLAY – it could be an hour, an afternoon or the entire day.
The bottom line is – it’s not about what you do or when you do it. It’s just important that you PLAY and let everyone know the importance of Play. Let’s Just Play. Spread the word. | | | Once you’ve finished playing, celebrate your achievements by having an awards ceremony. Hand out ribbons or certificates (you can make these beforehand) for Best Sport, Most Baskets Thrown, or Tallest Player. Be creative and come up with your own award titles.
