MODMSG centaur: To Marie: You are so energetic and fun on stage. Did you ever take acting classes to help conquer stage fright, or do you still get nervous and scared before your performances and it just becomes a "do or die" situation?

A*Teens_Marie: First of all, I'm always nervous.. But when I'm on stage, all the nervousness I had before is gone.

A*Teens_Marie: About the acting, I was acting very much when I was younger.

A*Teens_Marie: When I was 9 I played the main part in the theater in Stockholm, and it was very big...

A*Teens_Marie: We were touring around Sweden...it was in the newspapers...

A*Teens_Marie: I've been acting my whole life, and I've been acting in school. It's a big part of my life.

MODERATOR: A future hair stylest has a question...

MODMSG applegirl7: Marie, is your hair naturally curly or straight or wavy or?

A*Teens_Marie: My hair is naturally curly. I've had curly hair since I was born.

A*Teens_Marie: But sometimes I straighten it with a blow dryer or straightener.

A*Teens_Marie: I can get it really curly...but sometimes I just try to make it wavy.

A*Teens_Marie:When I wash my hair, I try to get it wavy...because it just feels sometimes like I have a ball on my head, I have so much hair.

MODMSG ateenschic: Marie, who are some of your musical influences?

A*Teens_Marie: That is a hard question.

A*Teens_Marie: I really like Whitney Houston...Britney Spears, her performances and music, but I don't know if she's an influence.

A*Teens_Marie: I really look up to Celine Dion and Whitney Houston. Celine—her voice is amazing and she seems to be a really nice person as well.

A*Teens_Marie: I think Celine is the biggest influence.

MODMSG dedavai: To Marie...It looks like you guys are currently touring Eastern USA. When will you be hitting the West Coast, Los Angeles or San Franciso areas?

A*Teens_Marie: Actually, we were in San Francisco and Los Angeles a few weeks ago...

A*Teens_Marie: when we were Britney Spears' support act in her tour.

A*Teens_Marie: We do two shows in each...we did the whole coast with her.

A*Teens_Marie: But we will come back, not with Britney, but probably in October sometime.

A*Teens_Marie: Sara, me, Dhani, and Amit had been friends for 6 years, a long time before the band started.

A*Teens_Marie: We met at our dance school...on a dance video...so we've been hanging out in our spare time.

A*Teens_Marie: And we've been good friends for a long time.

MODERATOR: tubbster has an interesting question...

MODMSG tubbster: Marie, what was your first concert you've ever been to?

A*Teens_Marie: I've been to so many...but the first one was New Kids on the Block.

A*Teens_Marie: I think I was 7 years old...and my cousin was a big fan. She had a big crush on Joey, the youngest one.

A*Teens_Marie: I didn't know the songs or anything, but I was dancing...with all the people looking at me, while I was standing on my chair.

A*Teens_Marie: I was so little, but I had a great time.

MODERATOR: NICKFrog has a good one from the nick.com mailbag...

MODMSG nickfrog: What's the most embarrassing thing that has been done on stage?

A*Teens_Marie: Oh my gosh...I've done so many embarrassing things on stage.

A*Teens_Marie: The first concert we had ever...before we went on stage, I didn't know our mics were on...

A*Teens_Marie: and I said "I was so nervous, I'm going to do it in my pants." and the whole audience heard that!

A*Teens_Marie: When we were in Denmark six weeks ago, I had problems with my pants every single night. My zipper was down, so the whole audience saw my underwear!

A*Teens_Marie: It happened with leather pants—they broke in the back. It happened every night!

nickyapper: OH MY GOODNESS!

A*Teens_Marie: So many other things, but that's a few of them!

MODERATOR: Here's another interesting question for Marie...

MODMSG dogz235: How does your musical carrer affect your personal life, because I know it does some how?

A*Teens_Marie: It does—my whole life has changed completely.

A*Teens_Marie: I'm taking a year off from school. Now it's my second year off.

A*Teens_Marie: You don't have your school friends, no homework, no tests.

A*Teens_Marie: Also your love life...you don't have so much time for that. You can make time, but it's really, really hard.

A*Teens_Marie: You don't have much time to see family and friends. I haven't seen my family for two months.

A*Teens_Marie: It's a part of the whole thing, and sometimes it's really hard. but I do have good friends around me—Sara, Dhani, Amit, other people we travel with.

A*Teens_Marie: So, yes, it's totally changed my life...but I love it!

MODMSG jcbmjb: Amit, what did you want to do when you were a kid? (Meaning a job)

A*Teens_Amit: Well, when I was really, really small I wanted to be a policeman or fireman!

nickyapper:My hero!

A*Teens_Amit: But when I got older, I wanted to sing...make a living out of music.

A*Teens_Amit: But it seemed like a dream that was really, really far from me...I thought I would keep trying...

A*Teens_Amit: I really wanted to be into music, but I felt so few people get that chance.

A*Teens_Amit: I felt I had to have other possibililties. So I studied really hard...and I'm still studying.

A*Teens_Amit: But this is my dream, and this is what I'm going for 200%!

MODERATOR: Here's someone already counting their money to buy your next CD who wants to know...

MODMSG iluvdhani: Amit, are you guys coming out with a new CD and when is it due out?

nickyapper: Oh please say yes!

A*Teens_Amit: Yes, we are coming out with a new CD, but we don't know when...we pushed it back...

A*Teens_Amit: As of now, it's coming out in February.

A*Teens_Amit: We're recording material...we have new songs we haven't heard yet.

A*Teens_Amit: When we get home, we will have some time off...and then we'll begin recording again.

MODERATOR: This fan wants to know all about your outfits....

MODMSG ateensrock: Amit, what is your favorite place to shop for clothes?

A*Teens_Amit: Oh, we have a lot of them! This time when we came to America, we found a lot of new stores!

A*Teens_Amit: I've been shopping a lot...Hot Topic..I love those t-shirts...nasty, funny, lines on them.

A*Teens_Amit: "Give me a dollar and I'll leave you alone"—I think that's funny.

A*Teens_Amit: As far as stage clothes go, we've found different places but we like Gadzooks...

A*Teens_Amit: We've been going to a lot of stores...but those are the ones I remember right now.

MODMSG amitluver: Do you ever wish you'd never started this group and that you had normal lives?

A*Teens_Amit: Oh, no. No, because this has been my dream since I was like 10 years old...

A*Teens_Amit: Probably earlier. I always wanted to be into music.

A*Teens_Amit: And I'm finally into music, and I'm really happy about it!

MODERATOR: Here's the typical male question...

MODMSG spongejoel: Amit, do you play any sports?

A*Teens_Amit: Yeah, I play a lot of sports.

A*Teens_Amit: With me being an American now, I've been playing basketball and football.

A*Teens_Amit: But before it was ping pong, tennis, golf, soccer, some ice hockey and a lot of different sports.

A*Teens_Amit: I'm not really into watching sports but I love to play them.

MODERATOR: They wouldn't be Nick fans if we didn't have at least one food question...

MODMSG ferrettluv: Where is your favorite place to eat?

A*Teens_Amit: Favorite place...that's a very hard question!

A*Teens_Amit: It depends on what mood I'm in. Sometimes it's McDonald's, sometimes burgers, sometimes Subway...

A*Teens_Amit: Today I ate at a really good salad bar...it's different all the time.

A*Teens_Amit: I eat most food. I love when my father cooks Indian. That's my favorite!

MODMSG a gurlie: Do you guys come to the discussion board on your official site?

A*Teens_Amit: Yes, we do.

A*Teens_Amit: I send in a tour diary, every day or every third or fourth day, just to keep everyone updated on what we're doing.

A*Teens_Amit: But we do come into our discussion board We come in there and try to keep contact with our fans.

A*Teens_Sara: Um... I guess I would like to meet the Backstreet Boys, I think. All of them!

MODMSG lauradiana: Do you get mobbed by fans every time you go somewhere?

A*Teens_Sara: Um. no, not really. It's different from every place in the world.

A*Teens_Sara: Of course, it's really, really fun when people notice you.

A*Teens_Sara: It's great when people like you, but in a way when it's not happening, it's really nice too.

MODERATOR: An animal lover, I'm sure, asks this next one...

MODMSG abbamama: Hey Sara, do you miss any pets you have at home when you are away?

A*Teens_Sara: I actually don't have any pets. But I would really like to have a dog. I love dogs. That's my favorite pet!

A*Teens_Sara: My favorite song is "Dancing Queen." It's totally my favorite song!

nickyapper: Mine too, but I LOVE "Super Trouper!"

MODMSG hushpuppy2: What do you do in your spare time???

A*Teens_Sara: Um, usually, I always talk on my cell phone. That's what I like to do. Talk to people I care about.

A*Teens_Sara: I always meet friends when I get home, and go to movies and cinema and stuff.

A*Teens_Sara: I ususally dance too.

MODERATOR: Ahh, we have a neatnick in the audience who asks...

MODMSG hpfanatic: Do you like to keep stuff organized or do you keep things messy?

A*Teens_Sara: I am not an organized person.!

A*Teens_Sara: I always have messy stuff. I so easily forget stuff.

A*Teens_Sara: I'm a bit messy, but I'm trying to get better. It doesn't work that well though.

MODMSG bowlers: Do you ever get tired of traveling?

A*Teens_Sara: No. Because I was traveling a lot when I was smaller. To the U.S. and the whole world.

A*Teens_Sara: I grew up traveling, so I see it as a fun thing. No matter what I'm doing I like traveling.

MODERATOR: Sara, you have an admirer here...

MODMSG starbby16: Sara, who writes most of the songs?? I love you!!

A*Teens_Sara: Well, the songs are done originally by ABBA.

A*Teens_Sara: Thank you for liking me!

MODMSG batonchick: What's your favorite part about coming to America?

A*Teens_Sara: I've been here before with my parents, and I really like it here.

A*Teens_Sara: The people are very, very nice, and they talk to anybody they like.

A*Teens_Sara: If you meet an American person in the elevator, they always talk.

A*Teens_Sara: Other countries are nice, but home is always the best.

MODERATOR: Perhaps a bi-linguist asks the next question...

MODMSG slvrwolf: Can you speak any languages other than Swedish and English?

A*Teens_Sara: I studied French for 3 years, but I'm not so good at it. I'm trying, and I also wanted to learn Spanish, but I haven't started yet.

nickyapper: That is so cool!

MODERATOR: Here we have someone asking about sleeping habits....

MODMSG sk photon: How much time do you get to sleep?

A*Teens_Sara: When we're traveling or touring, we get a lot of sleep. Not a lot, but it's good sleep.

A*Teens_Sara: When I'm home, I usually don't sleep more than 8 hours. I know it's a little, but I'm used to it.

A*Teens_Sara: I'm more of a night person than a day person.

MODERATOR: Here's another interesting question...

MODMSG paswato: What year did A*Teens start out?

A*Teens_Sara: We started out in 1998. December 1998.

MODMSG luvprinces: What do you do before shows to get the butterflies out?

A*Teens_Sara: Usually, I just breathe or take it easy. We have a special thing before the show. It makes me feel really calm.

A*Teens_Sara: I'm always nervous, I never get the butterflies out of my stomach, but they get calmer than before.

nickyapper: I have a question! I have a question!

nickyapper: Sara! Do you have a boyfriend?

A*Teens_Sara: No.

A*Teens_Sara: I'm single!

A*Teens_Sara: It has to be...cookies and cream, or I like vanilla, and also strawberry.

A*Teens_Sara: I like everything. I have my favorites, but I eat everything. I like milkshakes.

A*Teens_Sara:My favorite is Dancing Queen.

A*Teens_Sara: Yeah, I have a lot of friends at home, and in America too. I have friends all over the world.

A*Teens_Sara: People I knew in Sweeden have moved. So, yeah!

MODMSG jclay1965: Have you guys ever met any of the members of ABBA? If so, how was it?

A*Teens_Dhani: We actually have not yet. It's weird. Now we've done this for 1 1/2 years. But I think it's because we're both so busy, and we haven't matched a time yet.

A*Teens_Dhani: Hopefully, some time we'll meet them...hopefully.

nickyapper: I have a question! Dhani do you have a girlfriend?

A*Teens_Dhani: No, I haven't, but it would be nice to have one, actually. We're actually not home so much, and we travel a lot.

A*Teens_Dhani: It's so hard to start a relationship. So, I will get one soon.

MODMSG cin44: What do you HAVE to take with you on the road?

A*Teens_Dhani: That's a tough question.

A*Teens_Dhani: Of course, a passport. But otherwise, I don't think I have anything that special.

A*Teens_Dhani: I do have a thing that I always wear my rings, but nothing that special. Just my rings on my hands. Always!

MODMSG greatdrak: Dhani, who's your favorite music artist?

A*Teens_Dhani: Ooooh... I have so many, I don't know.

A*Teens_Dhani: I think I like the Backstreet Boys.

A*Teens_Dhani: Same with *NSYNC. I think they are great dancers and have good music.

A*Teens_Dhani: They have great concerts too. And Michael Jackson because I love his songs, and he's such a good dancer!!!!

A*Teens_Dhani: Thank you for the first part! For the second, right now there is no one traveling from my family.

A*Teens_Dhani: On our last trip, when we had a trip longer than 4 weeks, we would have 1 parent with us.

A*Teens_Dhani: 1 or 2, but now there is no one.

MODMSG nickmare: What's your favorite flavor of potato chips?

A*Teens_Dhani: I actually think it's just normal salted or maybe sour cream and onion.

A*Teens_Dhani: But probably just plain salted.

MODMSG brtwjess: What do you like more, the computer or TV?

A*Teens_Dhani: Oooh. um, it depends.

A*Teens_Dhani: I don't know really. The computer you can check mail and play games, but on the TV...

A*Teens_Dhani: That's a hard question, it's the first time I got this one. I have to think about it...

A*Teens_Dhani: 50/50 I think!

MODMSG softbalvr: Hi Dhani! What is your favorite song on the album???

A*Teens_Dhani: I think it's "Last Summer," actually. It's quite slow, with slow beats. I like that more than the fast one.

A*Teens_Dhani: It's quite soft.

MODERATOR: Here's one I'm sure we all want to know the answer to...

nickyapper: How do you feel about "Super Trouper" ???

A*Teens_Dhani: Ha ha. I really like that song. It's really happy, and it feels quite clean. I don't know why, but I think it's clean and happy.

A*Teens_Dhani: If you compare it to "Gimme Gimme Gimme," it's quite hard.

A*Teens_Dhani: It's a wierd answer, but that's what I think.

MODMSG kingusia: What is the last CD you purchased?

A*Teens_Dhani: Oh, the last CD I bought in a store... I think it was Lucy Pearl.

A*Teens_Dhani: I also bought Michael Jackson's history at the same time, 3 days ago.

MODMSG nickmare: How did you get interested in ABBA?

A*Teens_Dhani: We all are from Sweden, and we have been listining to ABBA songs since we were born because we heard them through our parents.

A*Teens_Dhani: We listened to them a lot so it was quite natural to do this actually.

MODERATOR: Enquiring minds want to know...

MODMSG ateens23: Dhani, what is your favorite thing to do in your spare time?

A*Teens_Dhani: My spare time... If I have a day off (depends where) I like to draw a lot. I like to draw graffiti.

A*Teens_Dhani: Or, I also like snow boarding.

A*Teens_Dhani: And, we all usually spend our time most in shopping malls.

A*Teens_Dhani: If we have a day off here, like we did today, we went to a mall. We did nothing, but shopped a bit. I also like sailing, I've done it all my life.

A*Teens_Dhani: We are all from Stockholm ,the capitol of Sweden. We are all from different parts, maybe 10-15 minutes from each other by car. Quite near each other!
