MODMSG greeneyez: How did your show in New York go today? I bet it was great as usual:-)

BBMak_Ste: We had a great time! It was down on the South Street Seaport with MTV!

BBMak_Ste: We were with Mandy Moore, Dave Holmes, everyone had a great time!

BBMak_Ste: There was a great turnout because it was free!!!

MODMSG bbmackrock: Will you ever be on Slimetime Live or any other shows on Nick?

BBMak_Christian: It depends if they will have us on!! We would love to!!

MODMSG tam5585: Does your celebrity status ever overwhelm you? If so, what do you do to deal? Thanx, Tam

BBMak_Christian: Hey, Tam! I mean, just sometimes when people start crying when they meet you!!

MODERATOR: tikkie23 would love some background on your careers :)

MODMSG tikkie23: I was just curious as to how you got your start??

BBMak_Christian: Well, tikkie23, we started 4 1/2 years ago. We were in different bands and stuff. We worked hard for a year writing songs and stuff before we went to London.

BBMak_Christian: We made our own break, and we busked for all the record companies.

MODERATOR: eminem147 has a hard question for ya...

MODMSG eminem147: What is one of the hardest things that any of you has tried to do?

BBMak_Ste: Me maths exams in High School!

BBMak_Christian: I think it was...mmmmm...it was the drivning test! Thanks for asking, eminem!

BBMak_Mark: Mine's probably...we did an army test for college...we did a course in Wales, a 3 mile run. It was tough.

MODMSG tubbster: What was the first concert you ever went to?

BBMak_Mark: Well, tubbster, my first concert was Rod Stewart concert...in Manchester, about 8 years ago.

BBMak_Mark: I opened up for him. I got to play the bagpipes for him.

nickyapper: You'll have to play the bagpipes for us some time!

BBMak_Christian: Tubbster, my first concert was a Paul McCartney concert and I went with my dad and it was amazing!

BBMak_Ste: I don't really go to any...my first real concert was in January...I saw Bryan Adams

BBMak_Ste: I've been to a few smaller concerts, just smaller shows nothing very big! Bryan Adams was really the first big one!

MODMSG luvsbbmak: What's your favorite type of food?

BBMak_Christian: Mine definitely is Thai food, luvsbbmak!!!

nickyapper: I like Thai food, too!!

BBMak_Christian: We just had Thai yesterday in NY and the guy in the restaurant recognized us from Thailand TV!

BBMak_Mark: I like Italian food...chicken and pasta!

MODMSG britney99: Do you guys ever dance? I know that in the Teen Choice Awards you guys didn't dance! That is why I am asking this question.

BBMak_Mark: We don't dance. We just prefer to play instruments. That's what we've always done...but we can dance!

MODMSG nickmyst:from the nick.com mailbag: Hey BBMak!!! I just wanted to let you know how much I love you guys!!! You guys rock! Anyway I wanted to know what is the hardest part of being famous?- BBMarklover

BBMak_Mark: Well, BBMarklover, the hardest part for me is spending time away from home, from family and friends. We all have very close families back in England.

MODERATOR: ahh yogo2004 has a great question for you Ste!

MODMSG yogo2004: Out of the 7 guitars that you own, Ste, which model is your favorite?

BBMak_Ste: I think's its the telecaster 1972 reissue model!! Thanks ahhyogo!!!

MODERATOR: eclipse2k would like to know about your influences...

MODMSG eclipse2k: Who or what was your strongest influence to make you guys want to sing?

BBMak_Mark: My biggest influence is probably Stevie Wonder. My first influence was the Jackson Five, who got me to sing...a lot of soul and R&B, Donny Hathaway, D'Angelo, Maxwell...

BBMak_Christian: Eclipse2k, The Beatles, Billy Joel, the Eagles, ELO, Hall and Oates.

BBMak_Ste: Well actually, me mum said that the first song I ever sang was "I Just Called To Say I love You" by Stevie Wonder, but I don't remember that, because I was so young!

BBMak_Ste: But now I listen to The Beatles, Billy Joel, Jimi Hendrix, Oasis, Pink Floyd, and still Stevie Wonder...

MODERATOR: bbmine is wishing for this question to be answered...

MODMSG bbmine: If I were a genie in a bottle, what three wishes would you like me to grant you?

nickyapper: Why don't you take a wish each!

BBMak_Christian: bbmine thank you for asking this wonderful question!

BBMak_Christian: If I had one wish, I would have a transporter the size of my watch on my wrist, and every time I push a button I get sent to have a snack from my mum!!

BBMak_Mark: Mine would probably be a little miniature suitcase device that would carry my suitcases around in America. A device you can fit in your pocket that would carry all your clothes around.

BBMak_Ste: If I had one wish, I'd wish for 10 more wishes!!!

MODMSG nellygrl11: I was wondering what was the favorite celebrity you ever met?

BBMak_Christian: nellygrl11, I think...I don't know. There are so many people we look up to.

BBMak_Christian: I think it would be Jim Carey at the Teen Choice Awards!!

MODMSG 1doodle: Why did you decide to be called BBMak?

BBMak_Ste: Well, I like BB King, and the other guys like Fleetwood Mac...

BBMak_Ste: Only joking!!!

BBMak_Ste: Actually, it's from our last names...Christian Burns, Mark Barry, and Steven McNally!

BBMak_Ste: So that becomes BBMak!!!

MODMSG margo11: I have to leave soon so please put this on the air— What is your fav book? Have you ever tried Harry Potter?

BBMak_Ste: Actually, I've considered picking up a copy of "The Goblet of Fire"...just to see why it's so interesting.

BBMak_Ste: Me favorite book has been "The Hobbit." When I read it as a child it was so great!

BBMak_Christian: margo11, I think mine would be the yellow pages, because I like pizza!!

BBMak_Christian: Actually, it would be "The Catcher in the Rye."

BBMak_Mark: My favorite book...in school it was probably "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"...and our own BBMak book we have out now!

BBMak_Christian: Our book is going to be in the stores at the end of the month! It's going to be a scrapbook!

nickyapper: Hey, if you're just joining us, we're chatting with British pop sensation, BBMak!!

MODMSG brainfart: How is your next single, "Still On Your Side," different from the version you have on the album?

BBMak_Christian: They key word is BEEF!

MODMSG messyman: What was your most embarrassing moment at a concert?

BBMak_Mark: Last week, actually, we were doing a Britney show and Christian said the next song we are going to do is "I'm Not in Love"—but the next song was actually "I Can Tell."

MODMSG prue144: Hi guys!! I love you!!! OK, I was wondering, do you have any advice for young teens (like between the ages of 12-15) who want to make it big in the music industry (like become a singer)?? Thanks!!

BBMak_Christian: Prue, I think you've just got to be very positive. It's a lot of hard work.

BBMak_Christian: My father always told me that if you want something bad enough you'll get it.

MODERATOR: Another one from the mailbag this week at nick.com...

MODMSG nickfrog: I was wondering, do you guys take your family on tour with you sometimes or fly them out to see you at concerts?

BBMak_Mark: We've not yet flown our family out to America, but next month when we do our own tour I think we are going to fly them out in November, when we do the House of Blues.

BBMak_Christian: I flew my family out to Los Angeles once. We were recording at the time but it was great to see them!

BBMak_Mark: I flew my brother out with them as well.

MODERATOR: happypoke is making movie plans by your answer to this I think :)

MODMSG happypoke: Since you have probabily seen a lot of movies, which was you favorite?

nickyapper: Have you seen a lot of movies?

BBMak_Christian: We do watch a lot of movies on the bus. I think one of my fave movies is "Back To The Future."

BBMak_Mark: My favorite film is probably "The Shawshank Redemption."

BBMak_Ste: My favorite movie, it's one of the reasons I learned guitar actually, is "The Blues Brothers."

nickyapper: "Soul Man"!!!

BBMak_Ste: It's such a great movie!

MODMSG flower1011: Where is the most awesome place you've been to in England? Mine is London of course!!!!

BBMak_Christian: I think the other guys will agree. My hometown is the most awesome place I have ever been to.

BBMak_Christian: I am from Wiggen. Near Manchester.

BBMak_Mark: I'm from Manchester.

BBMak_Ste: I'm from Liverpool!!!

MODMSG gabalii: Do you guys like performing in front of U.S. audiences? And also, do you notice any differences between U.S. audiences and other audiences?

BBMak_Ste: We love being over here in America, because, well, we've had such a great experiences with the teen audience.

BBMak_Ste: When we go onstage, it's so great to see fans with banners, and holding our albums up...the fans in America are so great.

BBMak_Mark: We love the fans everywhere!

MODMSG alwyzbbmak: What is the 1 thing that you know now about the music biz that you wished you knew when you guys first started out?

nickyapper: Great question!!

BBMak_Christian: I think a lot of things—we didn't anticipate the amount of work that is necessary to promote the album, we've been on over 220 flights this year...

nickyapper: We have just 15 minutes left with BBMak!!

MODMSG aztaryn: Hi Mark, Ste, Christian! Do you have a concept yet of what the "Still On Your Side" video will be like? Also, when will you be shooting that video?

BBMak_Mark: We will be shooting the video in England...most probably in London. The song sounds like a big anthem so it will involve our family and friends, a big sing-along. We are going to keep the video very English.

MODMSG nickmare: What are you three planning on doing for Christmas? I hope you won't be on the road. It would be nice if you got to be with your families.

BBMak_Christian: There will be a BIG turkey on my table!

BBMak_Christian: We're going to be going home to England, with our friends and families! Christmas is a family time!

BBMak_Ste: I think we leave America on the 17th of December. So we've got to get home to do some Christmas shopping!

MODMSG ladyxtc194: You guys were the sweetest, most humble, energetic people I've ever met in this industry. How do you have so much energy when you're on tour getting only a few hours of sleep a night?

BBMak_Christian: I think we genuinely enjoy what we do for a living. that's why when we're out there we're so enthusiastic, because we're holding our destiny in our own hands!

MODMSG becca4mark: What is the weirdest thing you have ever seen a fan do just so they could meet you? Please put this on the air!!! I luv you mark....!

BBMak_Mark: Becca, the weirdest thing...I'd say the nicest thing is to travel 920 miles to see me.

BBMak_Mark: She made a nice CD cover for me...and a nice compilation. Just the fact she travelled 920 miles was amazing, just to see me!

BBMak_Mark: We all get on really well. We don't argue. We have little discussions, never argue. We get on like brothers.

MODMSG nickchic22: This is for you all. What do you do when you go to the store? Do you have your agents do it for you or do you wear disguises?

BBMak_Christian: Well, nickchick22, we don't realize that the more famous we get the less that we can do in public.

BBMak_Christian: Like the other other night, Ste went to a gas station to buy some soda, and the thing is we got mobbed and literally there were kids running from everywhere!!

BBMak_Christian: I did quite well, I did well in science and in drama and music.

MODMSG bbmakchic: BBmak Rocks! Anyway...I was just wondering, when did you guys first get together to form the group BBmak? I am so happy right now!:)

BBMak_Mark: We got together about four and a half years ago. We've known each other for five years.

MODMSG aquatica: Who is the person you want to meet the most? and please just answer one of my questions!

BBMak_Mark: I'd love to meet Stevie Wonder!

BBMak_Ste: Paul McCartney!
