Jeffrey_Licon: Hey, what's up everybody. I'm glad you guys came to the chat. I'm happy to answer any of your questions. MODERATOR: Send us your questions for Jeffrey Licon!! Just type your question in the text box and hit Send! Jeffrey_Licon: jeffyouhot, I think that Jim Carrey is really cool because of all of the comical stuff that he does. I really admire him. Jeffrey_Licon: He's probably my favorite actor. nickyapper: I like Jim Carrey too! nickyapper: I'm just so excited that we're here with Jeffery Licon! He's dreamy! Jeffrey_Licon: Thank you for your compliment! nickyapper: Do you have a girlfriend? Jeffrey_Licon: Actually right now I do not have a girlfriend. nickyapper: Are you looking for one? Jeffrey_Licon: I don't think so right now. I think maybe in another year... I'll be set. Jeffrey_Licon: I'm kinda too busy for one!! I don't know if I could give her all the attention. nickyapper: But...but... but...What's your dream girl like? Jeffrey_Licon: I guess something...a cross between Jennifer Lopez and Christina Aguilera...Someone who is down to earth, and I can have a fun time with. nickyapper: What kind of music do you like?
Jeffrey_Licon: I like rap music a lot. Jeffrey_Licon: I also like R&B. Artists like Nelly, Jay-Z...I like DMX... Jeffrey_Licon: Dr. Dre...and people like that are really cool. MODERATOR: recee56 is asking this next question with earplugs in :) MODMSG recee56: So what's it like having a thousand fans screaming? Jeffrey_Licon: Since I can't hear you guys I don't know what it's like yet... Jeffrey_Licon: but hopefully I'll meet you soon! MODERATOR: Send us your questions for Jeffrey Licon!! Just type your question in the text box and hit Send! MODMSG freak420: Do you like to do extreme sports? Jeffrey_Licon: Ever since I was 12 I did skateboard a lot... Jeffrey_Licon: up until I was 14, and I ended up stopping, just calmed down a little bit.. Jeffrey_Licon: Other than that I do like to snowboard, freak. nickyapper: Are you goofy or regular? Jeffrey_Licon: I'm actually goofy! nickyapper: Jeffrey, I'm a goofy snowboarder too, I think that means that we should snowboard together! MODERATOR: diveygirl is asking this one nervously... MODMSG doveygirl: Don't you ever get nervous because of the camera? Jeffrey_Licon: Actually I've been doing this since I was five, so I've grown up with it...I'm normal with it... Jeffrey_Licon: That's the main thing you have to worry about. MODERATOR: littleash would like to know... MODMSG littleash: What's your favorite part about being on the show? Jeffrey_Licon: Hey, littleash, what's up! Jeffrey_Licon: It would have to be hanging out with all the people who act in the show with me... Jeffrey_Licon: because they're really cool and I always have a lot of fun just kickin' it with them. MODERATOR: aaronsgurl has a great one!! MODMSG aaronsgurl: Have you ever ridden a horse? Jeffrey_Licon: I have ridden a horse twice... Jeffrey_Licon: And I liked it a lot, but I don't like the end results the next day. MODERATOR: kittykrazy is always the Blabber who wants background info :) MODMSG kittykrazy: How did you end up on ''The Brothers Garcia''? Jeffrey_Licon: I went to a first audition about 11 months ago, and I went to six other auditions after that... Jeffrey_Licon: and then I landed the part. We then shot the pilot and nine months after that we got picked up... Jeffrey_Licon: and shot six more episodes. MODERATOR: spammer223 must have seen you on the message boards :) MODMSG spammer223: How do you feel on the message boards when a bunch of girls say that you are REALLY hot? Jeffrey_Licon: It kinda makes me feel embarrassed because I've only been just normal Jeff. Jeffrey_Licon: It's cool to get a lot of feedback from the fans...and it's great that they feel that way! MODERATOR: sparkle421 wrote this question in rainbow Crayola colors! MODMSG sparkle421: What's your favorite color? Jeffrey_Licon: My favorite color right now would have to be blue. MODERATOR: coming from manda :) MODMSG manda2005: If you could change one thing about "The Brothers Garcia," what would you change? Jeffrey_Licon: I think that I would like to see the show set in a little bit of a bigger studio... Jeffrey_Licon: so we could hang out more on the set...it would be cool if we could have beds there and stuff. MODERATOR: lunar12 is our Blab reader tonight :) MODMSG lunar12: Do you read Harry Potter? Jeffrey_Licon: Actually, my sister does...but I've just never picked up a Harry Potter book. Jeffrey_Licon: I've heard they're pretty good though. MODMSG stef86: Ok, fine, I'm leaving "moderator." Give jeff a kiss for me, k? lol MODERATOR: daizee has a middle ground question for you :) MODMSG daizee2007:What is your middle name? Jeffrey_Licon: I actually don't tell many people my middle name because I'm not too proud of it, daizee... Jeffrey_Licon: but my middle name is Peter. nickyapper: I LOVE that name! MODERATOR: alo0 is wondering about critters :) MODMSG alo0:Do you like animals? Jeffrey_Licon: For about two seasons I was on a show called "Second Noah." Jeffrey_Licon: And that whole show dealt with a lot of animals. MODERATOR: What was your favorite animal Jeff? :) Jeffrey_Licon: I got to work with wallabies, potbellied pigs, alligators... Jeffrey_Licon: On the show I really enjoyed working with the alligators because we had to work with them really closely...that was really intense. Jeffrey_Licon: Personally, my favorite animal would have to be the wolf. MODERATOR: sugargrl pounded this question out! MODMSG sugargrl00: On the show, you play the drums. Do you really like them? Jeffrey_Licon: My brother-in-law does play the drums, but I do not. Jeffrey_Licon: So I have to fake it. Jeffrey_Licon: But in real life I do actually play the guitar. MODERATOR: We got lots of questions in the mailbag at nick.com this week for you... MODMSG nickza: Do you LOVE your hair in real life as much as you do on the show? Jeffrey_Licon: Not as much as in the show! Jeffrey_Licon: But having my hair look right is kind of important to me. nickyapper: Jeffrey, how long have you been playing guitar? Jeffrey_Licon: Yapper, when I was 11 I took lessons for a year. Jeffrey_Licon: After that I stopped and I taught myself as much as I could. Jeffrey_Licon: I'm not the best guitar player but I can still strum a couple chords. MODERATOR: tigger43 almost forgot to ask this one!! MODMSG tigger43: Did you ever forget your lines? Jeffrey_Licon: Actually, Tigger, I do sometimes forget my lines. It's not as embarrassing as you'd think it is. Jeffrey_Licon: When that happens, you just get your giggles out and do a new take. Jeffrey_Licon: That's why I like it better than doing a play...It's a lot less stressful. MODERATOR: Ya know, Jeff, we had Vaneza on here last week so we learned lots about you from her! MODMSG m036: HI! How old are you and how tall are you? I LOVE YOU! Jeffrey_Licon: Uh oh! Jeffrey_Licon: Mo, I turned 15 on the 29th of last month... Jeffrey_Licon: and I am 5' 4" right now. MODERATOR: bgirl828 must really look up to you, as do many right now in the Blab! :) MODMSG bgirl828: Do you have any advice for young actors? Jeffrey_Licon: The only thing I could say is follow your dreams... Jeffrey_Licon: If you want it bad enough, it'll come true. That's what I did and it got me this far. MODERATOR: chica4247 has a great question about your start in acting too :) MODMSG chica4247: Where are you from originally and who inspired your acting? Jeffrey_Licon: I grew up in Montebello, California until I was 10... Jeffrey_Licon: then I moved to a different part of L.A. and that's where I am now. Jeffrey_Licon: I would say growing up watching my sisters on commercials, because they acted when they were younger too... Jeffrey_Licon: Watching them do their thing on the screen inspired me to do mine. MODERATOR: npg25 is wondering if your answer will be the same as theirs! MODMSG npg25: What is your favorite episode of "The Brothers Garcia?" Jeffrey_Licon: My favorite episode right now is "Bad Hair Day" when Larry has to get a haircut... Jeffrey_Licon: and we send him to the barber we've used for generations. Jeffrey_Licon: I had a lot of fun shooting that episode. MODERATOR: I think hannah2222 is a fan :) MODMSG hannah2222: I LOVE YOU JEFF! You are sooooo cool! Do you go to school? Or are you so busy that you get home schooled? Jeffrey_Licon: Since we're not shooting right now I'm actually going to regular school. Jeffrey_Licon: I love going to regular school. It's really cool, especially being a sophomore. Jeffrey_Licon: We get tutored on the set, but it's only half the time of regular school...3 hours instead of 6. MODERATOR: Wow cool name, jeffyouhot! See how you inspire people, Jeff? :) MODMSG jeffyouhot: Do you ever wish that you weren't famous? Why or why not? Jeffrey_Licon: When I was younger, some of the kids in my middle school would tease me... Jeffrey_Licon: Sometimes I would just want to be a normal kid. Jeffrey_Licon: But being in high school is pretty cool, because they've matured a lot. Jeffrey_Licon: Instead of messing with me, they congratulate me. Jeffrey_Licon: So I'm loving every minute of it! MODERATOR: This one comes from our very polite nut case :) MODMSG nut case: Moderator PLEASE give Jeff this! What Nick shows do you like? Jeffrey_Licon: I like "Rugrats," "All That," and "The Amanda Show." MODERATOR: As a follow up, dbz fan has this question for you :) MODMSG dbz fan: If you had a chance to work on another shown on Nick in addition to "The Brothers Garcia," what would it be? Jeffrey_Licon: I've always wanted to do something like "In Living Color" and the show Nick has like that is "All That," so that would be pretty cool and fun. MODERATOR: Oh, licon fan has a VERY interesting question! MODMSG licon fan: Do you watch your actions more closely now that you know you're a role model and the press & young kids are watching and looking up to you? Jeffrey_Licon: I've never really been a bad kid or anything like that. Jeffrey_Licon: So I think just being myself is setting a pretty good example. Jeffrey_Licon: Changing myself wouldn't be being myself. So I think changing yourself defeats the whole purpose of being a role model. MODERATOR: Another one from the mailbag at nick.com for you and we're SO very happy that so many wrote there if they couldn't make it here! MODMSG nickza: Do you speak Spanish at home in real life? Jeffrey_Licon: No, but I'm currently taking Spanish as my fifth period class in high school... Jeffrey_Licon: and it's a lot of fun.
MODERATOR: empra18 is trying to dig for some deeper meanings... MODMSG empra18: In the episode when that girl liked George but you liked her, did you REALLY like her??? Jeffrey_Licon: Her name was Brenda, and she was a really nice girl... Jeffrey_Licon: The funny thing is, Bobby who plays George really did ask for her phone number after. Jeffrey_Licon: So I don't know what's going on! But personally, I didn't really have any interest. nickyapper: What would you want to do if you weren't acting? Jeffrey_Licon: Yapper...well, since I'm still a kid I think just going to school. Jeffrey_Licon: And just doing everything except acting. But to tell you the truth, I really couldn't tell what I'd be doing because I've been doing acting for a while. Jeffrey_Licon: And I really love it! MODERATOR: gabola might get some strength from your answer here :) MODMSG gabola2000: If you're not feeling well, do you still go on with the show? Jeffrey_Licon: Gabola, actually, I have been sick a couple of times... Jeffrey_Licon: Like they say, the show must go on! Every time they say "action" I just deal with it and I'm ok for the few seconds the camera is rolling. Jeffrey_Licon: But after that I feel sick again...it's like a supernatural thing! MODERATOR: versel is back in school now so has a school question for ya! MODMSG versel: What was your favorite subject in school? Jeffrey_Licon: My favorite subject in school right now would have to be my geometry class. MODMSG luvmypets: Where is your fav place to be when you have some time to kill? Jeffrey_Licon: I like hanging out with my friends, going to the movies, or just to play laser tag. Jeffrey_Licon: But being levelheaded hanging out with my friends is my main priority right now. MODERATOR: smilez is keeping with the tradition of the Blab and asking about food... MODMSG smilez1228: What's your favorite restaurant? Jeffrey_Licon: My favorite restaurant is Wolfang Puck's...I love their barbecue pizza! MODERATOR: From the mailbag at nick.com this week we have another... MODMSG nickmare: Do you have brothers and sisters in real life? Jeffrey_Licon: Yes, I have four sisters. Jeffrey_Licon: Three of them are older, and one is younger. nickyapper: Do you and your sisters ever compete? Jeffrey_Licon: Actually, we did have an opportunity to be in the same series one time, but unfortunately my sister did not make it. Jeffrey_Licon: But I still love all of them. MODERATOR: jillirulz is going to get out her collection of videos depending on your answer to this one :) MODMSG jillirulz: What movies or shows have youve been in? Jeffrey_Licon: I've never done a major motion picture...hopefully one day I'll have the opportunity to, though. Jeffrey_Licon: I have been on a show called "Second Noah," I did a guest appearance on "Seventh Heaven." Jeffrey_Licon: I did guest appearances on "Walker, Texas Ranger" and "High Incident." MODERATOR: kolmargirl is our world traveler this week :) MODMSG kolmargirl: What's your favorite place to visit? Jeffrey_Licon: Well, kolmargirl, I enjoyed taking our annual trip up to Big Bear Lake in the winter. Jeffrey_Licon: We rent a cabin every year...and I go snowboarding. Jeffrey_Licon: By the time we get down I'm pretty tired. MODERATOR: ldc has a dust mop ready for ya ::giggling:: MODMSG ldc: Do you have to do chores around the house? Jeffrey_Licon: In the morning when I wake up to go to school, I do make my bed. Jeffrey_Licon: Every night I try to straighten up my room. Jeffrey_Licon: But other than that my mom does the dishes and the laundry... MODMSG meatloaf48: Do you watch your show or do you forget about it because you know what's going to happen? Jeffrey_Licon: Usually I end up watching the stuff I'm on...but lately I did miss last week's show. Jeffrey_Licon: That's only because it was a rerun. MODERATOR: lns91988 has an open book in hand and would like to know... MODMSG lns91988: Moderator please let me talk to Jeff. Do people ask for your autograph when you're walking down the street? Jeffrey_Licon: Sometimes in the mall I'll have kids or girls walk up to me, people like that...most of them when I'm with my mom, she has pictures of the cast for those moments... Jeffrey_Licon: so I can whip one out and sign it. It's really cool to see their happy faces. MODERATOR: What a great mom you have!! Oh, here's another great one from the mailbag this week! MODMSG nickza: If you could have any other career than acting, what would it be? Jeffrey_Licon: When I get older, I do want to attend a New York University to be a director. Jeffrey_Licon: Since I have some acting experience, I think that'll help me become an even better director.

MODMSG lizonarda: PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!! ask Jeff this question!!!!!! What was your most embarrassing moment? Jeffrey_Licon: I'll have to say my most embarrassing moment was at the graduation of my eighth grade... Jeffrey_Licon: walking up to get my diploma, I tripped on the last step... Jeffrey_Licon: I caught myself just in time. I don't think many people saw me, but some people did chuckle. MODERATOR: Awww, Jeff, that's ok! Yapper fainted before you even got here so how embarrassing is that! :) heathercuz has a driving question :) nickyapper:Shhhhhhh! MODMSG heathercuz: Have you got your driver's license yet Jeff? Jeffrey_Licon: I can't even get my learner's permit until I'm 15 and a half. Jeffrey_Licon: So it'll be February when I can get the permit. MODERATOR: lnsg1 is comparing you :) MODMSG lnsg1: Are you, in any way, like Carlos Garcia? Jeffrey_Licon: We do share a couple similarities.. Jeffrey_Licon: He's got a nice family that loves him. And my family is pretty similar to that. Jeffrey_Licon: And he's probably one of the cool kids on the show...and I would have to say I'm the cool boy in the family in my house, since I'm the only one! Jeffrey_Licon: But playing Carlos Garcia on the show is a lot of fun. MODERATOR: manda is dancing this one to you! MODMSG manda2005: Jeff, what's up? I LOVE YOU!! Are you and Vaneza Leza Pitynski making a CD together? If so, what's it called and when's it coming out? Jeffrey_Licon: Yes, we have actually recorded a song together called "Mr. Guapo." Jeffrey_Licon: And that should be on her CD which has seven additional songs. Jeffrey_Licon: When it'll be out, I actually don't know. But it will be out shortly. MODERATOR: boyzrule batted this question in a line drive at me!! MODMSG boyzrule: Do you have a fave baseball team? Jeffrey_Licon: I like the St. Louis Cardinals. nickyapper: Hmmmmmm! MODERATOR: Oh, a technical one! MODMSG peaches135: How long does it take to make one episode? Jeffrey_Licon: It actually takes one working week, peaches. MODERATOR: shygurl has a cute question... MODMSG shygurl1: Do you go to a lot of school dances when you have time? MODERATOR: We have 5 minutes left so send your questions in!! Jeffrey_Licon: Actually, on Friday my school did have a back-to-school dance, shygurl! Jeffrey_Licon: And I had a lot of fun there, dancing with people I know there. Jeffrey_Licon: So any time I am able to go to a dance, I usually do go. MODERATOR: bbrmw69 is begging to ask this one! MODMSG bbrmw69: Moderator, PLEAZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ask Jeff this one question... Are there any actors/actresses you'd like to work with in the future? Jeffrey_Licon: I would love to work with Jack Nicholson. He's one of my all-time favorite actors. Jeffrey_Licon: I like everything he's done and the fact he's done it for so long makes him one of the best actors out there, I think. MODERATOR: aaechlr almost changed but decided to ask this :) MODMSG aaechlr: Is there anything about yourself you would change? If so, what? Why? Jeffrey_Licon: Well, I don't think I'm quite average height for my age. So if I had to change one thing, it would be making myself a little taller. Jeffrey_Licon: But my mom always tells me that "good things come in small packages"! MODERATOR: tsunami has a nice name and a great question :) MODMSG tsunami: Does acting Carlos Garcia sometimes help you make decisions in real life? MODERATOR: We have time for one more question :) Jeffrey_Licon: From him I've learned how important family is and communication with them, tsunami. Jeffrey_Licon: My family usually isn't one to sit down at the dinner table and eat together... Jeffrey_Licon: but since you see us doing it on the episodes every week, my family has been a lot more apt to doing it themselves. MODERATOR: Our last question of the night comes from boogman and then we would love it if you could tell us some of your upcoming plans before you leave :) MODMSG boogman90: Jeff, do you think that the show has changed you? Jeffrey_Licon: The show has changed me in the perspective that I feel I've been out in the world a lot more... Jeffrey_Licon: and acting in general has taken me to many different places. nickyapper: AND your family now sits down to dinner! Jeffrey_Licon: To end the night, me and Vaneza will be performing at the Universal Studios Backlot for the Ronald McDonald Camp. Jeffrey_Licon: That'll be next weekend.
