Nick Cannon: Thanks, bro, allow me to come inside the computer and get my chat on! MODERATOR: Curious minds would like to know... kid13:Please tell me how you got into television! nickyapper: I always wanted to be on Television Nick Cannon:I started out doing stand up comedy, at 11 years old in North Carolina, from then on doing my music and my comedy... nickyapper: You sure are one funny guy! Nick Cannon: Then I turned 16, and I started doing the warm up for "All That" and then sort of spun out, doing television. MODERATOR: Wow, that's a lot of experience already! MODERATOR: Another question asked is... nicksgyrl:Who made the SNICK House? nickyapper: You mean who built the house? Nick Cannon: Like actually built it? It was Nickelodeon who came over with a cool idea, started off as a cool little introducin' shows, and sort of grew from there... hotmagma:Nick, what's your favorite cologne? nickyapper: You gotta smell nice for the Television folk! Nick Cannon: I got a few of them, Jean Paul Gaultier...I went to Miami and got this stuff called King Chess and all the ladies love it! MODERATOR: :::sneaking over for a sniff::: MODERATOR: With all of the work you do... lindz42289:How do you get all your school work done? nickyapper: Homework must be hard to do in the SNICK House! Nick Cannon: Actually, I graduated high school probably about almost 3 years ago now...and I take classes on the Internet, but other than that I'm pretty much done. Nick Cannon: College classes over the Internet are different from high school. I sort of finished early to get everything done. MODERATOR: Lots of the kids have hopes to join you there someday... joe1990:Did you start to go on "All That" when you auditioned from the All That Music and More Festival? Nick Cannon: No, Iactually started doing the warm up for "All That" and from there kinda...they asked me to do the show. Nick Cannon: People can make it from there! nickyapper: What does "Warm up for 'All That'" mean? Nick Cannon: The warm up is...the person gets the audience hyped, while they're not actually filming the show. I would tell my little jokes, run up and down, get real tired... MODERATOR: We had a lot of questions sent in to nick.com this week and one of the kids was wondering what is was like to chat with Christina Aguilera? nickyapper: She's cool!! Nick Cannon: It was cool. Christina was really really nice... Nick Cannon: She was talking about all the places she liked to go shopping. I said I was ready to go shopping with her. Call me back.... pookie16:Nick, what actors or comedians do you look up to? nickyapper: I look up to you Nick. You are my IDOL!!! Nick Cannon: I definitely look up to Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, my peers Kenan and Kel...I look up to them too. joe1990:What's your favorite TV show on Nickelodeon?? Nick Cannon: It would have to be ...I like "SpongeBob SquarePants"... nickyapper: I LOVE "ALL THAT"!!!!!!!!!!! Nick Cannon: I'm thinking of one Ijust recently watched, it's really funny... nicklvr:How did you become Sweaty Spice on "All That"? Nick Cannon: Actually, it was kinda funny, 'cause we were all sitting around discussing the different spices we were gonna be... nickyapper: The suspense is killing me... Nick Cannon: I was doing a Litte Richard thing...and the writers came up with the Sweaty idea. I wanted a Geri Curl and the sweat coming done, and Sweaty Spice was born! whtmydoin:Nick, if you could be doing anything else besides acting now, what would it be? MODERATOR: Besides sweating, that is :) Nick Cannon: My music. I would definitely perform my rap. I'm actually doing that on the Music and More Tour, so I'm doing the two things I want... MODERATOR: Here's another very interesting question we received on nick.com this week... If you were a superhero, what super powers would you have? Nick Cannon: I would be able to stop time and I could get everything done, that would be pretty cool. All the people in charge of me would be pretty mad... whtmydoin:Who are you closest to on the set? Nick Cannon: During "All That" it would have to be Kenan and Kel...but on SNICK I'm all alone so me and the cameraman have to bond. silverkimy:Nick,what sports do you play? Nick Cannon: Well, silverkimy, I love playing basketball. I'm like Allen Iverson without the corn rows... Nick Cannon: I put up maybe 35, that's why he's in the NBA and I'm on Nickelodeon. carmel2002:Hey, I just wannna know did you have fun playing on "The Parkers"? Nick Cannon: Yes, carmel2002, I had a great time, because that's where I originated from—the stand up community. Nick Cannon: Well, lindz42289, my family kind of always keeps in touch, so they don't allow me to miss them. Nick Cannon: I would try to pick his brain and see what motivated him to become so successful. slim_jadey:Do you play a lot of jokes on the set? Nick Cannon: Is that the real Slim Jadey? Nick Cannon: I play jokes all the time, all day, I've been walking around with a supersoaker, with water... Nick Cannon: Walking around, putting it in everyone's face...but only air comes out! MODERATOR: Hey Nick? What's it like to meet all those cool bands?? Nick Cannon: It has to be like...To me, I want to be in the music business, it's my entrance... Nick Cannon: Being around all these different people, being able to ask them questions. Nick Cannon: One time we were doin' a sketch...it had the most bloopers ever... Nick Cannon: "The Overzealous Waiter"...so Josh was supposed to break plates over his head... Nick Cannon: They were supposed to be breakable plates but the prop guy forgot. and they were real plates! Nick Cannon: They broke into one piece, and Josh had a big headache. Nick Cannon: I slipped and fell on the food on the floor and Kenan had to catch me! sposh:How will you do SNICK House when you're on tour? nickyapper: I was just wondering that myself!! Nick Cannon: That's a really good question, sposh. Nick Cannon: I've been doing a lot of stuff out here, and I did some stuff before I left, and I'm going back to do some more... Nick Cannon: Well, nutty16, from doing my stand-up comedy, it was the next move...I enjoy making people laugh, so if I can do that through acting...and through my music too. Nick Cannon: Probably...and this is actually how I got started...my dad loves to videotape the family acting silly, doing songs... Nick Cannon: He does that to this day. He pulls out the video camera and everyone starts acting silly. nickyapper: Hey Guys!! On "All That" I get to act silly and on SNICK I get to be a little cooler... Nick Cannon: So it's the best of both worlds. I always wanted to be on Nickelodeon...and do my thing. MODERATOR: Do you feel starstruck when you meet stars on your show? I know I feel star struck tonight! Nick Cannon: Awww, thank you! I definitely get starstruck, but everyobody who comes on the show is so cool... Nick Cannon: It's real friendly. brattybrit:What's your favorite video (music)?
