MODERATOR: Now we can ask you all kinds of questions, since you won't get worn out typing!

Nickward: LINDSAY: I have to type under the name "nickward" for now...all the Lindsays were taken!

MODERATOR: Demona was the first one with a question for you tonight.

demona: What kind of animals do you like?

Nickward: LINDSAY: Hello demona! I like ALL animals...

MODERATOR: So do I, although I do have a fondness for birds.

Nickward: LINDSAY: When I was younger I wanted to be a zoologist!

Nickward: LINDSAY: But I've always been partial to primates.

MODERATOR: Lots of people are envious of you now.

Nickward: LINDSAY: I have a bird. A Senegalese parrot named Kiwi!

coolgirl7:Lindsay, how did you get the job as Caitlin?

Nickward: LINDSAY: Well, I went on an audition for the show as I would anything...

Nickward: LINDSAY: When I went to read I was reading for the part of the cousin and...

Nickward: LINDSAY: Griffen was the slick city kid...

Nickward: LINDSAY: And I got a call back for it...

MODERATOR: Well we all are sure happy you did too!

Nickward: LINDSAY: And at the call back the director told me to read the part for the lead...

Nickward: LINDSAY: who was a boy.

Nickward: LINDSAY: Right then and there, after I read, they ended up switching the roles for me!

MODERATOR: I hope you're ready for some of these unique questions!

chris: Have you ever felt like your character Caitlin in the way she had a hard time adjusting and trying to find an identity?

Nickward: LINDSAY: Yes, I have felt like Caitlin before...

Nickward: LINDSAY: I think at some point in time everyone feels like an outsider...

Nickward: LINDSAY: and that's what Caitlin and the show is trying to represent...

Nickward: LINDSAY: that everyone is unique and everyone has to deal with issues on their way to growing up.

jrq09:What do you like best and worst about your part as Caitlin?

Nickward: LINDSAY: Well, I like everything about playing Caitlin.

Nickward: LINDSAY: I think it's really fun to play that type of rebellious person.

Nickward: LINDSAY: It brings out a side of me that I don't always get to show.

Nickward: LINDSAY: There is no worst part and it's certainly a difficult...

Nickward: LINDSAY: job to do, but if I didn't like it I wouldn't be doing it.

megala6s: Were you scared of the rattle snake on the show? We saw a snake on the "Maury Povich Show." Was it the same one?

Nickward: LINDSAY: I wasn't in a situation where I had to be afraid of the snake.

Nickward: LINDSAY: It was tame and the trainer was there at all times.

Nickward: LINDSAY: The snake was Canadian, so I doubt it was on the "Maury Show"...

Nickward: LINDSAY: Ha! I'm in my first year of French.

MODERATOR: Oh, tres bien!

Nickward: I'm not doing very well, but I hope by the time I graduate I will be.

Nickward: LINDSAY: Salut! Mes amis!

kewldude78: Do you live in Atlanta or are you just in Atlanta?

Nickward: LINDSAY: I'm in Atlanta opening a new FAO Schwartz store...

Nickward: LINDSAY: It's my first time to the city.

MODERATOR: Wow! You have your own store?

Nickward: LINDSAY: No! I'm helping FAO out!

nnnhhhsss: Is Bandit the real name of the horse you ride?

Nickward: LINDSAY: No, Bandit is a character like any other character on the show....

Nickward: LINDSAY: There are actually 5 Bandits!

Nickward: LINDSAY: They all look pretty similar.

MODERATOR: Wow! Do you get along with each of them?

Nickward: LINDSAY: The one I bonded with is named TAXI.

Nickward: LINDSAY: He's playing Wes Bentley's horse in the new movie "Kingdom Come."

MODERATOR: Here's a question I can relate to also:

nnnhhhsss: Is your room messy like Caitlin's?

Nickward: LINDSAY: My room is beyond messy...

Nickward: LINDSAY: My mom calls it the Black Hole!

puffy: Do you plan on doing any other Nick shows?

Nickward: LINDSAY: I've talked to some Nick production people about doing other projects with Nickelodeon.

Nickward: LINDSAY: I've done SNICK House and Nick specials...

Nickward: LINDSAY: But I'm going ot try to branch out to other projects as well...

MODERATOR: I'm sure your fans will love to watch whatever you appear in!

doubledare:Lindsay, I hear you will be on "Double Dare 2000" soon. Is this true? Are you looking forward to it?

Nickward: LINDSAY: Jason Harris is one of my good friends, and I'd love to be on the show!

Nickward: LINDSAY: But nothing has been scheduled yet...

Nickward: LINDSAY: I have done many "DD2000" specials.

chris: Do you have any pet peeves and what are they?

Nickward: LINDSAY: Pet peeves...

Nickward: LINDSAY: Good question!

Nickward: LINDSAY: I really cannot stand to be around really phony people...

Nickward: LINDSAY: The more genuine you are, the better.

shopper296: On the show, how did your mom die?

Nickward: LINDSAY: Well, the writers had gone through lots of changes trying to decide this.

Nickward: LINDSAY: Originally she was killed by a drunk driver.

Nickward: LINDSAY: But they changed it in the end and she died of an anuerism.

nnnhhhsss: Did you know how to ride a horse before "Caitlin's Way?"

Nickward: LINDSAY: Yes, I had been riding for years before the show.

Nickward: LINDSAY: The show just helped me improve.

sandyw: Do you ever get nervous riding Bandit?

Nickward: LINDSAY: Yes, sometimes I feel like I'm not in complete control of the horse...

Nickward: But I think that's only natural. We have people there at all times to make sure nothing goes wrong.

Nickward: But mainly I feel comforable on horses.

puffy: What kind of music do you like?

Nickward: LINDSAY: I'm pretty easy when it comes to music. I listen to just about anything...

Nickward: But I'm a huge fan of Hanson, the Beatles, Aerosmith...

Nickward: And any old rock 'n roll!

MODERATOR: No wonder you rock!

chandy:Are you and Griffen ever going to be friends????

Nickward: LINDSAY: Yes, Caitlin and Griffen already have a stong bond...

Nickward: LINDSAY: The audience will be able to see it more and more through the season.

Nickward: Jeremy, who plays Griffen, and I are really close friends in real life!

Nickward: And I think that comes through in our characters.

MODERATOR: We only have time for one last question after this!

matthoku: What's your favorite Nickelodeon show to watch?

Nickward: LINDSAY: My favorite Nick shows were all the old stuff like "Hey Dude" and "Salute Your Shorts"...

Nickward: And I was a huge fan of "Clarissa Explains It All"...
