MODMSG nickgirl67: What was your life like when you started singing and having concerts? Dream_Holly: When I first started....it was hard, we were away from our families, living on a bus...it was sort of a pain... Dream_Holly: But it was fun...it was a totally different lifestyle. MODERATOR: emily10112 got here early for a good seat! MODMSG emily10112: How did you come up with the song "He Loves Me He Loves U Not"? Dream_Holly: Actually, the writers were the same people, Steve Kipner and Dave Frank, who produced "Genie in a Bottle." Dream_Holly: We were really excited about it. It seemed to us that it was something we could do. MODERATOR: cpluvr would love some background information :) MODMSG cpluvr32: Hi, I wanna know how did you come up with the name *Dream* ? Dream_Holly: We liked it because we thought it suited us perfectly... Dream_Holly: It's our "dream" to do this! Dream_Holly: Our former manager came up with the name and we really liked it. MODERATOR: gurlie62 is asking this one directly to you, Holly :) MODMSG gurlie62: Holly, who are some of your idols? Dream_Holly: Personally, my idols are Sarah McLachlan, Brian McKnight...Lauryn Hill. MODERATOR: Here's one from abbysowner... MODMSG abbysowner: What is the best thing about being famous??? Dream_Holly: We don't consider ourselves famous...we're like normal people. Dream_Holly: I think the best thing about being in "Dream" is being able to sing and make music every day with each other. Where'd you get the inspiration for that? -Stephanie (btw, I'ma huge fan, thanks for everything!) Dream_Holly: Thank you, dreamfan! We were given the song and it already had the chorus... Dream_Holly: More than anything we just wanted the song to be musically good.. Dream_Holly: We took it just from ideas that we have...pretty basic, about a guy who's playing with you, and you're not gonna put up with it. Dream_Holly: It's totally different. The tour was so much fun because we got to be really close to the fans, sign autographs... NICKYapper:::holding out paper for an autograph:: Dream_Holly: Doing a big tour is an incredible rush, getting up in front of all those people, with their glowsticks and so excited... MODMSG whazup28: Diana, what advice do you have for young boys and girls who want to have a singing career? Dream_Diana: My advice would be to pursue your dream... Dream_Diana: You don't have to be the best singer, but keep practicing it. MODERATOR: 3322bj8 has an interviewing question! MODMSG 3322bj8: Di, have you ever been interviewed by your fans? Dream_Diana: We have talked online before, but we've never had anything like a one-on-one with them. Dream_Diana: But we'd like to do that sometime. Dream_Diana: Probably...when I had a shoe come off sometime and I ran to the side of the stage... Dream_Diana: I tried to put my shoe back on by sitting down at the side of the stage... Dream_Diana: And putting it on in front of everybody. That was pretty embarrassing. Dream_Diana: In order for it to be my job, you have to love it, have a passion for it... Dream_Diana: So, yes, I do. MODERATOR: azndiva is concerned about you being so busy! :) MODMSG azndiva: Hey, Diana, its azndiva...When do you have time to go back home? Dream_Diana: I rarely get time to go back home... Dream_Diana: I like to go shopping for my family and give them gifts...get them stuff. Dream_Diana: And I like to go to the mall. Dream_Diana: My fav song is "When I Get There..." because it has a lot of meaning... Dream_Diana: It can be about a lot of different things. Dream_Diana: Yeah, in shows we've fallen down...all of us at some point... Dream_Diana: Sometimes if it's something we haven't performed in front of people before...one of us might fall out of the choreography or something... Dream_Diana: I feel it's harder for me because all my school stuff gets mixed together... Dream_Diana: But I get everything done. MODMSG fliper2468: Do you feel like you have any competition with all the other girl groups out there? Dream_Diana: It's not based around competition...it's support rather than competition.
