Vitamin_C: "C" was a nickname...and I was looking for a name that was familiar and positive and fun.

MODMSG horses lvr: How does it feel to have children look up to you as their role model?

Vitamin_C: I think role models should actually be people closer to home...

Vitamin_C: not people in the entertainment business.

Vitamin_C: But I take it seriously that I should at least present a positive image.

Vitamin_C: But I think role models should be your parents, your teachers...people who accomplish something on a daily basis, more than entertainment.

Vitamin_C: Well, skywolf, I would say my favorite animal domesticated is a cat. I like long-haired Persians...

Vitamin_C: And I love Pandas. Pandas are my favorite animals, but I'd have a kitty if I could...

Vitamin_C: My biggest inspiration is succeeding against the odds. When people tell me "no" I can't do something, that's when I really want to do it!

MODMSG banjo5: How did you get the name for your new CD "More"?

Vitamin_C: I think this album is more of all the good things from my first album...more musical, more flirtatious, more rhythmic, more fun...

Vitamin_C: So it made sense to call it "More"...because it's more music. Simple.

Vitamin_C: I haven't decided what I'm doing for Valentine's Day. I'm scheduled to be flying across the country then...

MODMSG lucylover: What has been the toughest part of being a solo artist compared to being in the band Eve's Plum?

Vitamin_C: When you're in a band you have a lot of support around you at all times, lucylover.

Vitamin_C: When you're by yourself, you have only yourself to depend on. I miss the support of my bandmates and the camaraderie.

Vitamin_C: It gets lonely sometimes.

Vitamin_C: That's the toughest part.

MODMSG lkchick666: How does it feel when you're doing a concert? Do you ever get nervous?

Vitamin_C: lkchick...I do get nervous, but it feels great doing concerts. I love people getting into it...

Vitamin_C: even when they don't like it. I have such a great time performing. It's what you hope for.

MODMSG chura13: What's the message of "Feeling the Itch Again"?

Vitamin_C: The song is about desire...and it can be a desire for many different things.

Vitamin_C: When you're "itching" to do something...like a craving almost.

Vitamin_C: So in this particular song it's about a girl who's in a relationship she's not satisfied with, she wants more out of her relationship.

Vitamin_C: My favorite song is probably...right now it's the new song "That Was Then, This is Now"...or "She Talks About Love."

Vitamin_C: And, you know, the slime actually tastes pretty good...but don't tell anyone!

Vitamin_C: I had no idea...I just started singing to have friends, hang out, express myself...fulfill my creative impulses...

Vitamin_C: I didn't know where it was going to lead me.

Vitamin_C: I'm hoping to tour this summer.

Vitamin_C: My favorite food...do chocolate chip cookies count as food?

Vitamin_C: I love chocolate chip cookies...but my favorite meal would probably be a steak or a burger.

MODMSG chyna16: What advice would you give to teens that want to be in the music business, Vitamin C?

Vitamin_C: I would say write your own songs, because that way you have a lot more control over what you can do and what you can't do.

Vitamin_C: I wanted it to be something fun, something everyone could sing along too...but I also wanted it to be cool.

Vitamin_C: I play a little guitar, a little bit of drums, a little piano. I don't play well enough to play, but I play well enough to write songs, to sketch out my ideas.

Vitamin_C: I sleep in my bed and I take bubble baths!

Vitamin_C: When I was growing up I had a few dance teachers who really impressed me, people I studied music with, people who taught me about the industry...

Vitamin_C: It depends. It can take anywhere from one very long day (18 hours) to 3 days of filming.

Vitamin_C: If there's dancing, it takes a few days of rehearsal...and for every video there's a week of preparation.

Vitamin_C: Probably the Southwest...the desert.

Vitamin_C: I think an education is really important, but not for a job or anything like that...

Vitamin_C: I think education makes you a better person, more aware of the world outside of your world.

Vitamin_C: It helps to stomp out ignorance and racism, all sorts of stupidities.

Vitamin_C: So I think education is more important for yourself, for your personality, not for your career.
