Neopets is famous for creating mystical alternate realities, rife with monsters, magic and volumes of mystery and intrigue. So it comes as no surprise that the online and card gaming giant is set to enter the console realm with "Neopets: The Darkest Faerie," due for release on the PS2 on November 15.
This third-person action/adventure game will allow players to go questing through the world as one of two characters--Roberta and Tor--whom the player can toggle on and off with the trigger buttons. Each character will be equipped with a host of magic "motes," which alter the properties of their offensive and defensive moves in the game. Roberta and Tor are tasked with questing throughout Neopia in search of the Darkest Faerie, whose evil designs threaten all the land. |
