Lucas Alien for a Day 1

Being a human being can get pretty boring. Luckily for you, we have an alien adviser to help you be an extra-interesting extraterrestrial for a day! Lucas Cruikshank happens to be a pro at playing an alien. He told Young Hollywood all about what it's like to be Marvin. "When you're playing Marvin or any outrageous characters, you have to just kind of like, put your dignity aside and just go for it, and not care what anyone thinks," he said. So here are some tips to set your silly spirit free, like a true alien would!

Step 1: Speak a weird language.

If you're going to be an alien, you need secret alien code that regular humans can't understand. Start sending some signals to Mars!

Lucas Cruikshank may have been raised in Nebraska, but this small-town actor was made for Hollywood! Even the iCarly peeps knew he destined for the stars the moment they met him. If you don't know (or just can't remember that far back) Lucas' first visit to the Nickelodeon studios was as a guest on the set of iCarly! And just for old time's sake, we thought we'd relive the moment, Throwback Thursday style.

Nick star Lucas Cruikshank is pretty familiar with how to hide his identity. He has to keep it on the down low that he's an alien from the earthlings on his show, Marvin Marvin! But sometimes he's a little too good at disguising himself. Lucas chirped, "I just told this phone operator my name and she said 'I've never met a girl named Lucas'. Uhm...."
