Big Time Rush Spills On Their New Album, 'Elevate'!

Posted on Oct 19, 2011

The whole globe has been buzzing about one thing and one thing only. The release of the new Big Time Rush album! And Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson, Carlos Pena, and James Maslow sat down for an exclusive web chat with their fans to spill all the deets. But just in case you missed it, don't you worry. We were there to catch all the action.

Logan kicked off the chat by shouting out to fans, "I've got one word for you guys...Elevate!" No, he wasn't telling fans to climb to the top of Mt. Everest. It's the official title of BTR's second album!

Logan said, "We worked very hard on this second album for you guys, and most of the CD is written by us, so I think we're excited to show you guys a new side of Big Time Rush."

And James added, "We're super excited about it. The first album, we were focusing on the TV show, and it was kind of rushed. And this one, we've had the past year to be writing and working on it, and perfecting it. And I know we're all very, very proud of it. So we can't wait for you guys to hear it!"

Wait...the boys actually wrote their own lyrics to these new hit tracks? Yup, it's true! Carlos said,"There's a song called 'Love Me, Love Me' that we actually wrote together on the recording bus, in the wee hours of the morning, during our last tour...But this song is awesome." Sounds like we're gonna love it, love it!

But what are these songs about? Well, a lot of BTR's musical lyrics came from one their greatest inspirations...Their fans. One chat member asked, "Are there any songs specifically dedicated to your fans?" And Kendall replied, "Actually there are a couple songs that are dedicated to fans...There's one called 'You're Not Alone', and that's a message basically to the fans that if anyone's had someone in their life that takes care of them, and that feels very strongly about them, and loves them, that song is about that. It's about you, fans!"

So which single should we look out for first when the album finally drops this November? Well, according to the boys, the first song to be released is entitled, 'Music Sounds Better With You'. Can't wait!!
