If you thought Big Time Rush had reached their peak, then think again. In proper BTR fashion, the guys outdid themselves once again with a White House visit that's sure to go down in Rusher history! The singing heartthrobs were asked to play a set for the first ever Kids' State Dinner, an event hosted by first lady, Michelle Obama. A yummy, healthy meal coupled with some big time singing sure sounds like the perfect combo to us!
The guys couldn't contain their excitement, and took to the tweet trees to let it all out! BTR cutie Logan Henderson chirped, "Can we roll the windows down #AtTheWH?..." We're not sure, but if anyone can, it'd definitely be Big Time Rush. Band mate Kendall Schmidt also joined in on the tweeting by chatting, "Music sounds better #AtTheWH! Yep, we're playing at the #KidsStateDinner!..."
While we're just a teensy bit jealous that we couldn't see our fave boy band rock out in the nation's capital, we couldn't be any happier for them! We hear they did some amazing acoustic versions of their biggest hits, and gave an all-around killer performance. While we didn't expect any less from them, we salute the guys for bringing D.C. a super presidential rush!
