It's iCarly catch-up time! A lot has changed since the humble premiere of everyone's favorite web show, and Noah Munck sat down with ClevverTV to talk about the evolution of Gibby! He's been a fan-fave from the start, but you may have noticed some extra love being shown to Gibby, as he's recently been the main squeeze of episodes like "iGo One Direction" and "iOpen a Restaurant." So how are the fans reacting to Gibby's growth? According to Noah, "The fans are crazy. They just love Gibby, it's insane, it's mind-blowing! Michelle Obama was chanting 'Gibby' on the tour. It was surreal."
As Gibby's character grows, so does the love from his loyal fans. But what would iCarly be like if Noah played a different character? True Gibby fanatics might shudder at the thought, but in an alternate reality, Noah says he would actually like to play..."Spencer. No doubt. I think Spencer is just such a fun character to play, you know, he's crazy!" Noah explained. "Spencer is not a smart person, Jerry knows that too. Spencer is out there, he is just not smart and it's fun to be crazy on camera." Wow, so does Jerry Trainor have to be worried about Noah stealing his role?? Doesn't seem like it. "But I dunno if I could pull the crazy off," Noah added. "That's Jerry's thing. I like being the more subtle stupid character...That's also a ladies man."
Playing the crazy character of Spencer does sound like a blast, but being a hunky heartthrob like Gibby has its perks too (like the prez chanting your name for instance?). So alternate realities aside, all of you dedicated Gibby guys and gals can rest assured that Noah Munck is Gibby always and forever!
