One Direction's Gold Medal Performance

This year's Olympics were, in one word, epic! Records were shattered, medals were won and all of our fave US athletes gained some serious bragging rights. But there was something else that went down at the 2012 games that we'll never forget for as long as we live. And yes, it has to do with five of the world's most sought-after celebs.

We're talking about the boys of One Direction!! The guys boarded one of the most-watched stages in the world last night when they took over the mic in an unforgettable closing ceremony performance for the 2012 Olympics. And, as always, they're rockin' stage presence left us completely breathless.

The boys belted out their top-of-the-charts tune, "What Makes You Beautiful," while standing atop an elaborate stage-on-wheels (does it get much bigger than that?). And the whole world watched as they nailed every note. It was a pretty nice bonus, too, that the guys got to rep their hometown of the UK while tearing it up live in London.

They may not be pros when it comes to high diving or double hand springs, but for this unbelievable Olympic performance we're giving Zayn, Harry, Louis, Liam and Niall a gold medal for awesomeness!
