The How to Rock Method

Posted on Feb 1, 2011

Have you ever fallen flat on your face in front of your crush? Or received a humungo smooch from mother dearest in front of all of your giggling friends? Don't worry, you're not alone. Embarrassing moments happen to the best of us. But here's some good news. Thanks to the cast of How to Rock, you'll know how to conquer even the most humiliating OMG moments.

Here's what the cast spilled Alloy about how to deal with awkwardness...

Halston Stage (AKA Grace): "When I'm feeling awkward I just remember to be myself and to be silly and goofy and just have fun."
Lulu Antariksa (AKA Stevie): "Everybody does stuff that's awkward."
Max Schneider (AKA Zander): "Just work through the awkwardness, smile, and I like to acknowledge the awkwardness. I feel like if we're both like, 'this is awkward,' and then we change it, it's not awkward anymore."
Cymphonique Miller (AKA Kacey): "Or, you can use the How to Rock method, which is, sometimes we don't know what to say to camera. So, we just look left, look right, awkwardly, and we point directly into camera and say, 'How to Rock!' and then walk off."

So there you have it. Even if you fall head first into a giant vat of mac and cheese (like these guys, LOL), there's no need to bury your head in a pillow and hide for the next hundred thousand years. 'Cause now, you'll know just how to rock it.

If SpongeBob ruled the world...

that world would be full of Krabby Patties.
