Diary of a Wimpy Kid
This unconventional novel by Jeff Kinney switches between handwritten text and comic book-style illustrations. Seventh grader (and "wimpy kid") Greg Heffley describes "the lamest life a 7th grader could live" in his diary, which makes for anything but a lame read. Greg might be a wimp, but the book made a powerful impression on fans. Is it strong enough to score a blimp?
