Kids' Choice Awards Nominees 2010
Male Singer

Jay-Z
Jay-Z started his career in the '80s with such rap pioneers as LL Cool J, and Big Daddy Kane. When labels wouldn't sign him, Jay-Z started Roc-A-Fella records to release his debut, Reasonable Doubt. Now it's among Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and Jay-Z is a multi-platinum artist and businessman. There's only one thing he doesn't have yet -- a KCA! Will this be his year?

Sean Kingston
Sean Kingston grew up in Miami, where he pursued a career in music as a way out of his troubled home life. He signed to Epic Records and his first single, "Beautiful Girls," became a #1 hit. In 2007, he opened for Gwen Stefani on The Sweet Escape Tour. His second album, Tomorrow, was released in 2009. Sean has overcome many obstacles in life; will he overcome the competition and win the KCA?

Mario
Mario's mother must have known what she was doing when she bought him a karaoke machine, because at the stunning age of 14 he nabbed a record deal from legendary producer Clive Davis. After his first single "Just A Friend 2002" dropped, his career just exploded. Mario is also a talented actor, with roles in Step Up and Freedom Writers. Will "KCA winner" be next on his list of achievements?

Ne-Yo
Ne-Yo got his first break when he wrote "Let Me Love You" for Mario. The song was an instant hit, and Ne-Yo was signed to Def Jam by Jay-Z. This year, all three guys are competing for the same KCA! On top of making his own music, Ne-Yo has collaborated with Beyonce, Whitney Houston and Rihanna, AND acted in Save the Last Dance 2 and Stomp the Yard. This is his first-ever KCA nomination.
