Dining Options

Royal Caribbean has many dining options. Have your first-class meal in the luxury of the Main Dining Room, enjoy the light-hearted atmosphere at Johnny Rockets, breeze into the Windjammer for a quick and healthy buffet options or plan an intimate dinner in one of the reservations-only Specialty Dining Restaurants, Chopps Grill (a steakhouse) and Portofino (Italian cuisine). With so many options to choose from, dining on the ship is a journey in and of itself!

Dinner Seatings & My Time Dining^SM
When you make your cruise reservation, you can request either early or late dinner seating. This is if you would like to dine in the main dining room. Early Seating is at 6pm and Late Seating is at 8:30 (subject to availability).

Royal Caribbean has recently introduced a fantastic new flexible dining program called "My Time DiningSM." Any day you would like to eat at an alternate time, you can reserve a table in the main dining room at the time of your choice from 6pm-9:30pm. So you can either eat at your assigned dining time or choose another time that works for you on any particular day of your cruise by reserving "My Time Dining". The menus and service are the same. The times are flexible! Please check the Daily Cruise Compass while on board for information about making "My Time Dining" Reservations.

The food and décor in the 3-floor main dining room is world-class, with attentive waitstaff and live dinner music. You'll choose from a variety of options for each course, from appetizers to entrees to heavenly desserts. Menus feature Royal Caribbean's signature ShipShape® items, which are lower in fat, as well as vegetarian options and a selection of kids' favorite foods. Kosher meals are also available if arranged in advance. Menus change daily throughout your cruise and are prepared using the freshest ingredients available.

Bare feet or bathing suits are not allowed at any time in the dining room.

Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.
Lunch: Noon - 2:00 p.m.
Dinner: Main Seating 6:00 p.m., Second Seating 8:30 p.m

All meals (including coffee, tea, water, iced tea or lemonade) in the main dining room are included in the price of your cruise. Specialty beverages, beer, wine and soft drinks are offered at current bar menu prices.

Windjammer Café
The Windjammer Café is the perfect place to grab a bite to eat before hitting the pool or a casual dinner to top off a day of exploring. Open almost around the clock, it offers great food, spectacular views and an attentive waitstaff, all in a casual atmosphere.

Choose from a wide variety of food and a seemingly never-ending buffet for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks throughout the day. Serving stations offer salads, soups, sandwiches and burgers, meat-carving and hot entrees. And for your sweet tooth, choose from a multitude of cookies, cakes and frozen yogurt.

Continental Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Full-Buffet Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

SPECIALTY DINING
For another culinary journey, plan to have dinner in one or both of Royal Caribbean's first-class specialty restaurants.

Restaurants listed below are open for dinner 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Reservations are recommended; please allow two hours for dining. To make a reservation, use the main menu screen on the TV in your stateroom or call the restaurant directly. Telephone numbers can be found in your stateroom. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a minimum of $10 USD.

Portofino
For a romantic evening at sea make a reservation at Portofino, our specialty restaurant offering delicious Italian cuisine. Sample some of our chef's new creations or have one of your favorites prepared the classic way. Either way, you won't be disappointed.

There is a $20.00 USD per person service charge to dine at the Portofino Restaurant. This includes a complete 4-course meal. Specialty beverages are at an additional charge.

Chops Grille
Chops Grille is a guest favorite, the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion or simply be treated to a fantastic dinner. Enjoy juicy steaks, fresh seafood, hearty side dishes and delicious desserts in an elegant atmosphere. From filet mignon to mesquite grilled salmon, Chops Grille offers much more than simple meat and potatoes.

There is a $25.00 USD per person service charge to dine at Chops Grille. This includes a complete 4-course meal. Specialty beverages are at an additional charge.

Café Promenade
Enjoy a frothy cup of cappuccino or grab a sandwich at the Café Promenade, our sidewalk café on the Royal Promenade. Open day and night, it's a great dining option for everything from a quick breakfast to a late-night snack.

Café Promenade features sandwiches, pizza, pastries and popular brands like Seattle's Best Coffee® and Ben & Jerry's® ice cream. All items, excluding Ben & Jerry's ice cream and Seattle's Best Coffee specialty beverages are included in the price of your cruise.

Johnny Rockets
The Johnny Rockets restaurant you'll find onboard is everything you'd expect from the shore-side restaurant - authentic 1950s décor, a menu filled with all-American favorites and, of course, friendly service. Slip back in time in this fifties-style burger joint that's fun for the whole family. The burgers are juicy, the shakes are thick and the retro style is so authentic you'll think you've been here before. Johnny Rockets is a great casual dining alternative that everyone in the family will enjoy.

Open for Lunch, Dinner and Late-Night Snacks: 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 a.m.

A nominal fee of $4.95 USD applies per dining guest, including gratuities, and you can order as much as you'd like. Soda, bottled water and milkshakes are offered at current menu prices.

Room Service
Maybe you want to sleep in or just spend a night relaxing in your stateroom; either way, you still have to eat. That's why we offer complimentary room service to all our guests for breakfast, lunch and dinner, 24 hours a day.

The room service menu can be found in your stateroom and offers selections for all meals and light snacks. During certain hours of the day, you can also order from the main dining room menu, just ask for details when you're onboard. So go ahead and have breakfast in bed or enjoy a sweet temptation dessert on your balcony. After all, you're on vacation.
