How do I make a reservation?

The Nickelodeon Family Cruise with Royal Caribbean International Travel Agency Hours of Operation are as follows:

Mondays & Wednesday - 10am - 8pm EST
Tuesdays & Thursdays - 10am - 5pm EST
Fridays - 10am - 2pm EST
Saturdays - 11am - 3pm EST
Sundays - CLOSED

Do I need a passport to travel?

A valid passport is a requirement for air travel to / from Canada, Mexico the Caribbean and Bermuda

Effective June 1, 2009 only a valid passport (unless otherwise noted below) or other WHTI compliant document will be accepted for entry or re-entry into the United States. For a list of all approved documents click here.

U.S. citizens on closed-loop cruises (cruises that begin and end at the same port in the U.S.) will be able to enter or depart the country with proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate and laminated government issued picture ID, denoting photo, name and date of birth. A U.S. citizen under the age of 16 will be able to present either an original or a certified copy of his or her birth certificate, a Consular Report of Birth Abroad issues by DOS, or Certificate of Naturalization issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.

Please note that neither Nickelodeon nor Royal Caribbean is responsible for your documentation. You will be denied boarding if you do not have the proper documents required. There will be no refunds made available at that date.

What does the price include?

Your Cruise package price includes the stateroom accomodations, ocean transportation, all meals onboard except specialty dining, ship activities and entertainment. What is not included?

Spa services, alcoholic beverages, specialty dining, bottled drinks, shore excursions, shop purchases and transportation to/from the port of departure.

What are my payment options?

Nickelodeon requires $1000 deposit per stateroom at time of booking. Balance is due May 1, 2009. For reservations made after May 1, 2009, payment in full is required.

What is the cancellation policy?

Up until April 1, 2009: $500 per stateroom

April 2-May 1, 2009: $1000 per stateroom.

After May 1, 2009: 100% of the cost of booking is due.

All cancellations must be made in writing or email to info@nickfamilycruise.com.

What if I have special dietary requirements?

Once you have received your cruise documents, you can click contact Royal Caribbean directly to let them know about any food allergies or special dietary requirements. Click here for more information.

Can I make name changes to my reservation?

Reservations may be transferred to another guest up until 21 days prior to departure. After that date, there will be a $150 name change fee.

Should I purchase travel insurance?

We strongly recommend that purchase travel insurance. We have a plan with Travel Guard Travel Guard Insurance that was created with families in mind. However you are welcome to pick any plan and you may want to contact various companies to see what is covered on the different plans offered. Travel insurance is not required, but again, highly recommended.

What are my airline options?

American Airlines is the Official Airline of the Nickelodeon Family Cruise with Royal Caribbean International. 

For Nickelodeon Family Cruise Guests can save 5% on the lowest published fare.  Just go to www.AA.com and enter promotional code A8979AI when searching for your flights.  This discount is available for flights to the following airports: Burbank Airport (BUR), Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Santa Ana Airport (SNA), Ontario International (ONT) and Orlando International (MCO) for travel between July 23-August 19, 2009.

Getting to Port Canaveral

If you drive, there is ample parking at Port Canaveral. Click here for directions.

Orlando International Airport is approximately 45 minutes by car from the Port.

Please note: All guests must be checked-in and on board the ship no later than 90 minutes prior to the published sailing time or they will not be permitted to sail.

Getting to Los Angeles

Los Angeles Intenational Airport is approximately 30 minutes by car from the Port.

What to Bring

With your documents, we will include an "About Your Cruise" Booklet that will list all of our theme events as well as some packing pointers.
