"Take this." A little boy wearing red told his latino friend. The boy in red handed his friend an octozord. The latino took it and smiled at the boy he considered as an hermano, aka brother.
"Thanks." A car horn was heard by both boys. "Thats my ride. Bye Jay, I'll be back and we'll train to be samurais together!" The boy in red, Jay, smiled and waved his friend goodbye.
"Bye Antonio." The latino, Antonio, looked back at his brother from different parents. He half smiled, than ran to the waiting car that belonged to his father's friend, Leon. Antonio hopped into the back of the old car, heading to the airport.
A while later the car stopped, and Antonio looked out his window. He saw airplanes take off into the air and land onto land. Unfortunatly Antonio felt a sense of sadness. He would be leaving the only home and friend he ever knew. Antonio heard his dad and Leon exchange farewells. "Come on Antonio, or we will be late for our flight." Antonio sighed sadly but followed his dad.
About four or five hours later Antonio felt the plane that he and his father had baorded, descend. Finally the plane landed saftly, and the announcer's voice came on overhead. "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to England." Everyone got off the plane, going their own ways. Antonio followed his father to a cab. After a few minutes passed, the car stopped. Antonio got out and looked at what was now his new home. It was a small white house with a neatly cropped yard. He looked at the house next to his. In the yard were two girls playing what looked like ninjas. They looked over at him, and ran to his side.
"Hello! You must be Sophie's new neighbor!" A girl with blonde hair with natural brunette highlights said. Antonio looked at his dad who nodded.
"Yes."
"Girls!" Antonio looked over the girls' shoulders. Walking towards the cautro was a woman with aging blonde hair, who looked in her thirties. "I am so sorry for their rude manners." She apologized. "I'm Kat. You guys must be our new neighbor."
"Hola Senorita Kat, I am Mark, this is my son Antonio." Antonio's dad greeted.
"Nice to meet you." Someone cleared their throat. Antonio saw it was the other girl. She had dark brunette hair, and piercing green eyes. "Oh how rude of me. This is my daughter Sophia, and her best friend Peggy." Kat said, gesturing who was who.
"Toni, do you want to play ninjas with me and Peggy?" Sophie asked. Antonio smiled and nodded. "Great!" The trio ran into the green grass as the two adults talked. Maybe moving wasn't so bad. Antonio thought. |
