Here I have decided to post another fan-fic. This time it is about Danny Phantom and Jake Long (AKA American Dragon) meeting eachother...right now I have two fan-fics going on, so I am going to have to multi-task (which I'm not good at, so sorry for the wait if you end up waiting!)
This takes place BEFORE everyone knows Danny's secret, and BEFORE Jake Long's father knows his son's secret. I hope you enjoy it, and remember to COMMENT!!!! Here is the first part:
Part 1: The Beginning of it All
It was an average day for Danny: he was at school putting his books in his locker, staring at a picture of Paulina, when Dash walks up behind him.
"Hey, Fenton," Dash said, slamming Danny's locker closed with his meaty fist, "heard you got an A on your history exam, may I have the honor of congratulating you?" Dash pulled up the sleeve on his red and white leather jacket, pinned Danny to the wall of lockers. Danny braced himself for the punch, it wasn't like he could use his powers in front of Dash...
RING RING!
"What do ya know! Bell rang, bye!" Danny said as he ran past Dash and got into Mr. Lancers room.
"Late again, Mr. Fenton. Take your seat." Mr. Lancer said, holding a stack of papers.
Danny took his seat in the back in between Sam and Tucker.
"Now as I was saying, class, before so rudely interrupted," he sent a nasty glance towards Danny, "the school board has agreed to let us go on a field trip to New York not only to visit the second handsomest teacher in the world, my colleague Hans Rotwood, but to observe new learning habits from the students that go to school there. However, due to the limited budget, you all will be staying with one of those students in their house." Mr. Lancer says. "Now return this permission slip if you want to go, or should I say, HAVE to go. This field trip is mandatory and will last for 5-7 days." Mr. Lancer starts handing out the permission slips to his students, and gave one to Danny last.
"I EXPECT you to be there, Mr. Fenton. This will give you an extra credit opportunity, and I wouldn't think about passing it up with your D average." He whispers.
Danny takes the paper, not staring into Mr. Lancers stern eyes.
Once Mr. Lancer was finished discussing the rules and regulations of the trip, the bell rang. Danny darted out of there as quick as he could before Mr. Lancer would drop his grade any lower.
"YES!" Danny said to Tucker and Sam once school was over as they were walking home.
"A week off from being Danny Phantom in the big city without my parents is probably going to be the best week of the school year!"
"I know! I can't wait to get out of my house of morning people and sleep in!" Sam said.
"I don't really care as long as they have Nasty Burgers up there. I can't live without my meat!" Tucker said.
"Yeah, I just hope that my parents don't ask to go with us...It'll just be annoying, especially since we'll be staying with some kid! Imagine what he would be thinking if my family was a bunch of ghost hunters! Nothing could be POSSIBLY worse than that!" Danny finished.

i used to watch american dragon sometimes years ago, but i've forgotten mostly everything. from reading some parts i think i got the gist of the characters. anyway, keep going! this is interesting

Rotwood: "I'm right here!"
Me: "AH! I mean... hi..."
Rotwood: "Can a ghost be considered a magical creature?"
Me: "Umm... no. It's more of a science thing."
Rotwood: "I DON'T CARE!! AS LONG AS IT CAN FLY AND HAS WEIRD POWERS I SHALL PRESUME IT IS A MAGICAL CREATURE!"
Mr. Crocker: "You're obsessed with magical creatures too?! I give you an... A!"
Rotwood: "YES! I am especially interested in dragons."
Crocker: "My obsession is.....
FAIRY GODPARENTS!!"
Danny: "Okay.... That's just..."
Trickie: "Totally wack that our principle is talking to that outta wack teacher, ya know?"
Fu Dog: "I don't know about all of you, but I'm going to get a burrito. A goo goo goo."
Everyone: "Yeah."
Me: "I... I don't like burritos..." *walks away sadly*
Mr crocker and Rotwood: "We don't either! How about you help us..."
Crocker: "CAPTURE FAIRIES!!"
Me: "Hmm... sounds fun. Sure."

Part 42: Awakened
Rotwood, Sam, Tucker, Fu Dog, Trixie, and Spud were all waiting for one of their friends to wake up, move a muscle, or prove in some way that their existence had not yet faded.
Finally, Danny began to stir. Soft grunts filled the room as the group crowded around Danny.
?Danny...are you okay?? Sam said, trying to hold back un-goth-like tears.
He suddenly yelped in pain and grasped his head.
?Come on, dude! You gotta be okay!? Tucker whispered.
Trixie, Spud, Rotwood, and Fu Dog were silent. They had never really been in a situation like this.
When Danny started waking up, he felt strangely different...like a part of him was missing.
Once he was fully awake he asked the famous question:
?What just happened?? Sam came over and hugged him, a tear escaping her eye.
After she let go, Trixie spoke up.
?Uh...We were kinda hoping you could tell US that...?
Danny was still confused. ?I feel weird after I tried to overshadow the Huntsmaster...?
?Well, he did glow black and stuff...? Spud added.
?Weird...?
?You?re telling us!? Tucker said.
?Well, better use the Fenton Thermos and catch Skulker before he gets away.? Danny got up quickly and reached for the cylindrical container.
Sam interrupted. ?Danny, you were knocked out for a while, you should rest. Besides, Skulker left while you and the Huntsmaster were fighting.?
Danny growled. ?RRR! Why does he escape every single time?! Now I have to go find him again! And who knows how much damage he can do?!? For once, his eyes didn?t glow green when he was angry.
?Whoa! Dude! Calm down! You did all that you could do; that?s all people ask for, right? I mean, come on, the worst Skulker can do is capture the Box Ghost!? Tucker joked.
?Okay,? Danny looked over to Jake and Gramps, ?What happened to them?! This didn?t happen when I was out, did it?!? he said with a worried look on his face.
?Actually, it did. Ya see, we don?t know what happened to ya, or them. The big bad guy just came up and put them into a deep sleep or somethin?.? Fu Dog spoke.
Spud and Trixie rushed over to Jake and Gramps when their names were mentioned. Spud kneeled by Gramps and Trixie kneeled by Jake.
?Yo dude, wake up!? Trixie yelled, determined that Jake would wake to her command.
Spud began doing the same thing, except he started singing lullabies.
?Spud! You ain?t supposed to keep him sleepin?! You?re supposed to wake him up!? Trixie reminded.
?Oh...yeah, uhhh...right...I?ll do that.? And so Spud gently shook the Dragon Master.
Meanwhile, Danny was talking to Sam and Tucker.
?Are you sure that?s all that happened? Nothing else?? Danny asked, he wanted to be made sure that he was getting all of the details.
?Definitely, dude! The Huntsmaster passed out with you, Jake, and Gramps over there,? He pointed his thumb to Spud singing lullabies, ?Oh! And Skulker left. Sadly I don?t know where Rose went...she has a nice name, right? You think she?ll like my ?Foley, by Tucker Foley? scent??
Sam began speaking. ?For one thing, Tucker, You are never going to get a girlfriend; at least, with what you?re doing, and Second, Danny we don?t know what happened to you , Jake, or Gramps! We aren?t doctors. Even if we were, I?m not sure how we would help a half-ghost-half-human hybrid.?
That triggered something in the back of Danny?s brain just as Jake and Gramps woke from their slumber.
Sorry for the million question marks in the last chapter! I don?t know what happened! And if this has question marks too, then sorry! I know that it can be hard to read with all of ?em in there. I would still like to thank 23horses for giving me the idea for the rest of the story, along with StarPaw for always commenting and sticking the story through to the end. For all of you other people commenting, thank you guys so much! Your comments are what keeps me motiviated to writing more parts! Look forward to reading the next chapter soon! Thanks for the idea again, 23horses! I really like your ideas, but I decided to add another twist of my own I really do appreciate all of the ideas, though! And if you have any more, I'll love to hear 'em!

I have an idea, how about Gramps, Jake, and Danny just made their duplicates and fooled the Hunstmaster into thinking he won. I think this will be a funny idea. I think you'll like this idea.

I really appreciate you making the next part, 23horses! But I think I can finally say that I am over my writer?s block and can resume writing. The only problem that I?m really having is time to get my ideas down on the computer! I can keep on writing the story now, so don?t worry-I think I have the time to make more parts! I re-created part 41 but kept your ideas in there. I just wanted to make a small tweek to it. I hope you guys like it! Also, I?m trying another style of formatting, but if you guys don?t like it, I?ll just go back to just doing what I usually do.

Part 41: Catastrophe
The Huntsmaster grabbed his head and collapsed to the ground as everyone turned to see what the matter was. Danny was fighting the Huntsmaster and the Huntsmaster was fighting with Danny. All of a sudden, the body of the Huntsmaster began to glow a sickly black as it flew in the air as if pulled by an invisible string.
It was good versus evil, both trying to gain control over the other. Little did Danny know that if he lost this mind tug-of-war that he would lose the ability to leave the evil body.
A pitiful scream of a ghostly wail pierced the ears of the audience. Gramps and Jake reverted back to their human forms as to not let their dragon hearing get the worst of the noise.
?What?s going on? Where?s Danny?? Jake screamed over the noise.
?He?s trying to overshadow the Huntsmaster!? Sam screamed back. ?It?s never taken this long though!?
?He needs help, y?all!? Trixie said with an a-matter-of-fact tone.
Then Fu Dog, Rotwood, Trixie, Spud, Sam, Tucker, Gramps, Rose, and Jake crawled over to the cringing body.
Meanwhile, Skulker couldn?t take much more and shot an ectoblast at the window, causing everyone to shield themselves from the sharp shards of glass.
?Tell the ghost boy if he?s still alive that the Hunt shall go on!? Right as he turned on his Jet Packs to leave, Spud threw a fork at him.
His machinery began to spark even though the useless weapon barely cause harm. It only infuriated Skulker even more. Good thing he didn?t stick around to spit out another nasty remark for he feared for his own safety and flew out the window.
Everyone then returned their attention to the Huntsmaster. His body was in pain and you could see the obvious turmoil going on inside of him. The group of friends began shaking the Huntsmaster, hoping that their friend Danny would come out alive an well with one of his many ghost-fighting puns.
As fast as the problem arose, it ended.
The Huntsmaster?s body was laid on the ground, but the sickly black glow did not cease. A figure began solidifying next to the Huntsmaster. It was Danny fading back into existance laying down peacefully, as if in a good night?s dream with absolutely no worries.
?Danny, wake up. Danny...? Sam had a tear in her eye. She didn?t know what happened to her boy - erm, friend, and really wanted him to wake up.
?Come on, man! We still got to beat Sam at that last level of Doom! Buddy...? He trailed off as well.
Fu Dog and Gramps shared a look of despair, as well as Trixie, Jake, and Rotwood.
None of them noticed the weak and limping form of the Huntsmaster creeping behind Jake and Gramps.
His black glow grew darker and more evil as he neared. When in arm?s length, he took out his two hands and placed them upon Jake and Gramps. They turned around too late.
Pain was surging through their forms as they flickered between Dragon and Human, then they too fell to the soft carpeting of the apartment.
Then the Huntsmaster collapsed again. Rotwood, Sam, Tucker, and Fu Dog were the only ones left unharmed.

Hey, Ectoenergy, if you don?t mind, I could take over the part 41 for you if you?re having a big writers block. Well, I want to help a buddy of mine, so I guess I could help you. Ok, here?s part 41 for you.
Part 41
Danny (In the Huntsmen?s body) ran behind Skulker. ?Well, dragons and kids, it?s time to put your heads in my trophy room.? He threatened them. ?EWWW!? Everyone said. ?Ew is right; get away from my friends!? Danny shouted and swung the Huntsmen?s stick at Skulker and he landed on the wall.
?WHOA, dude that?s so triple whack, you took over the Huntsmen!? Jake shouted surprised. ?Not?for?long.? Danny granted and he suddenly got catapulted out of the Huntsmen?s body.
?How did you do that?? Danny asked surprised. ?I have lots of great skills, ghost child, and now we finally have you and the American Dragon.? He said and Skulker shocked Danny and Jake at the same time and they passed out and they changed back.
Gramps, Fu Dog, Sam, Tucker, Trixie, and Spud ran for the door and made it, but they didn?t know that Danny and Jake weren?t following them so they ran back, but a thick door shut closed. Gramps try to melt the door down, but it was too thick.
Back inside, Danny and Jake woke up, with both of them inside a box. ?What the, what?s going on here, yo!? Jake shouted.
?I have no idea, but we?re getting out of here.? Danny said. ?I?m Going Ghost!? Danny shouted, but nothing happened. ?Going Ghost!? He repeated. ?I can?t change into Danny Phantom, your turn, Jake.?
?DRAGON UP!? Jake shouted, but nothing happened. ?Dragon?UP!? He repeated. ?I can?t change, either.?
Then, Skulker and The Huntsmen walked out of the shadow with Hunstgirl beside them. ?Very excellent questions, super children, this is the Technology that is neutralizing your powers, and now we can finally dissect you both and when you two are out of the way, we can capture and/or destroy ever ghost and magical creature existed.? Huntsmaster threatened.
?Our friends will come and find us and when they do, you guys are going down.? Danny threatened back. ?Oh really, Danny Phantom.? Skulker said with a creepy smile.
Keep going, your doing awesome. I love both shows, but I can't believe they ended. Maybe this FanFic should make them decide to bring them back.

Part 40: Put Your Battle Face On!
?Gramps! You?re okay!? Jake rushed to Gramps? side and gave him a hug, which he gratefully returned.
Jake?s grandfather was finally free of confinement thanks to the help of Tucker?s trusty PDA.
?All in a day?s work!? Tucker said, blowing on the steam that was escaping his PDA.
?Uh, Y?all, I ain?t got a clue about this, but I don? think that this is a great time to reunite!? Trixie screamed over the cascading barrage of explosions coming from the other side of the small apartment room where a grand battle was taking place.
There were broken plates and furnature covering every square inch of flooring; there was no room for landing. Especially when broken shards of glass were waiting for their next victim.
Danny was fighting Skulker and the Huntsmaster at the same time. They never took turns making their moves; instead each blast of energy sent to his foe was just blasted back into his face twenty times stronger.
Danny looked over to his group of friends ?Guys, I could use a little help over here!?
Spud was the first to respond: ?Sure thing, man! Nothing can beat other things like forks!?
?And knives!? Tucker added. The comic relief characters miraculously pulled out a dozen of their favorite eating utensils, ready to strike.
Trixie rolled her eyes. ?I should?ve known that was comin?.?
?Come on, Trixie! We got a Huntsmaster worth huntin?!? Jake said over the roaring of the room. He grabbed her (in his dragon form) and flew over to the action.
That left Sam and Gramps.
?So, uhh, ya want to-?
Gramps cut her off. ?Enough talk-FIGHT!? and they both joined the battle.
Tucker and Spud were-obviously-throwing kitchen utensils at Huntsmaster and Skulker. And, to an extent, decreased the amount of power the evil men had. (they were annoyed and decided to waste their power on a repelling shield).
The American Dragon was carrying Trixie while Gramps held Sam-both were using the weapons given to them by Rose. They turned out to be quite helpful.
Danny was giving the fight all he had-intangibility, flight, invisibility, ecto-rays, and everything else imaginable.
Then an idea struck him in the back of the head - literally. When Skulker had shot one of his mini-missiles to the back of his head, he realized that he could just overshadow the Huntsmaster! And Skulker listens to his collegue!
So Danny became invisible, floating for a few seconds to give the men the impression that he escaped. Then he became intangible and flew right into the Huntsmaster?s body.
But with so much power added to more power, there was sure to be promised destruction.
Thank you so much for your comment, StarPaw! I tried to make this chapter as long and action filled as I could, but I?m sorry to say that I?m not the best at writing action scenes...Anywho, I?m really glad I made this part because then we can get to the good stuff in the next chapter! It?s still in the processed of being typed, so don?t expect it to come out right away (Yeah...you guys probably already know that since I don?t update on a daily basis). Tucker: "YES!! IT'S MY SECOND CHANCE!" *Takes out breath spray*
Me: "I'M AWAKE!!"
Tucker: "Oh... Umm... hi..." *hides spray bottle behind back*
Me: (Cheerfully) "HEY TUCK!... Whats that behind your back?"
Tucker: "N-nothing...." *runs away*
Me: "Hmmm... wonder what got into him.... Oh well..." *Rushes to computer to read more* StarPaw,
Part 39: Tending to the Weak
"Hahahah!" Huntmaster's maniacal laughter filled the room. All of the children were huddled in the corner of the room; Sam and Tucker were tending to Danny's wounds. He was covered head to toe with cuts and bruises with some of his jumpsuit tattered. He had been knocked out from a missile to the head where there was a giant black scorch mark on the side of his face.
The three evil figures loomed over the heroes. Skulker and Huntsmaster were shoulder to shoulder inspecting the horrid damage they had inflicted while Huntsgirl (Who stood behind them) pulled something out of her boot unnoticed. Quickly and stealthily she removed six small cylindrical containers and slid them across the carpet flooring over to the huddled group.
"Awww, what a touching moment!" Skulker interrupted, "The Ghost-Boy needs help from his human girlfriend! How sweet!"
Sam looked up at Skulker's robotic face "We. Are. Not. Dating!" She said, jabbing a finger at him with each word.
Suddenly, a million things happened all at once. Danny's eyes zapped open, zooming around the room for an escape from the villainous plot. Sam spotted Huntsgirl (and knowing that she was on her side) who used her eyes to lead Sam to the supply of weapons on the floor. Jake stood up and flew over to the cage containing is beloved grandfather.
That's when it happened.
A sickening screech from the back of the room got everyone's attention.
While Skulker and Huntsmaster were distracted with the pitiful noise, Danny preformed a kick maneuver in his seated position that swept both Skulker and the Huntsmaster to the ground. Danny was not completely healed, but he did have enough energy to stand and fight.
Danny turned to the rest of the gang: "What are you all waiting for? Go help Jake! Tucker, go over to Ros-Huntsgirl!" he corrected himself.
Sam, Spud, and Trixie ran over to Jake and begun undoing all of the locks and combinations on the containment unit holding Gramps. They were very complicated and had to work together to finish each one.
During the time Danny was battling Skulker and Huntsmaster, and the others were setting Gramps free, Tucker rushed over to Rose's aid.
Her body lay on the ground, and Tucker being Tucker, he just had to assume the worst; or shall I say best?
He kneeled by her side and did something SO Tucker-like: he took out a spray can with "minty fresh!" on the front and sprayed it into his mouth twice.
"It looks like YOU need mouth-to-mouth resuscitation!" He said cooly.
"Seriously, Tucker?! You know you could just shake her awake!" Danny said from across the room as he was in hand to hand combat in mid-air against Skulker.
"Awwww man! I was really hoping that this would be my chance!" Tucker yelled.
Then Jake yelled across the room: "Awwwww Man! That's what I say!"
Ignoring the comment, Tucker simply shook the body of Rose awake. Soon her eyes zapped open. Realizing her surroundings, her and Tucker went over to the cell to help the group free Gramps.
