Here I have decided to post another fan-fic. This time it is about Danny Phantom and Jake Long (AKA American Dragon) meeting eachother...right now I have two fan-fics going on, so I am going to have to multi-task (which I'm not good at, so sorry for the wait if you end up waiting!)
This takes place BEFORE everyone knows Danny's secret, and BEFORE Jake Long's father knows his son's secret. I hope you enjoy it, and remember to COMMENT!!!! Here is the first part:
Part 1: The Beginning of it All
It was an average day for Danny: he was at school putting his books in his locker, staring at a picture of Paulina, when Dash walks up behind him.
"Hey, Fenton," Dash said, slamming Danny's locker closed with his meaty fist, "heard you got an A on your history exam, may I have the honor of congratulating you?" Dash pulled up the sleeve on his red and white leather jacket, pinned Danny to the wall of lockers. Danny braced himself for the punch, it wasn't like he could use his powers in front of Dash...
"What do ya know! Bell rang, bye!" Danny said as he ran past Dash and got into Mr. Lancers room.
"Late again, Mr. Fenton. Take your seat." Mr. Lancer said, holding a stack of papers.
Danny took his seat in the back in between Sam and Tucker.
"Now as I was saying, class, before so rudely interrupted," he sent a nasty glance towards Danny, "the school board has agreed to let us go on a field trip to New York not only to visit the second handsomest teacher in the world, my colleague Hans Rotwood, but to observe new learning habits from the students that go to school there. However, due to the limited budget, you all will be staying with one of those students in their house." Mr. Lancer says. "Now return this permission slip if you want to go, or should I say, HAVE to go. This field trip is mandatory and will last for 5-7 days." Mr. Lancer starts handing out the permission slips to his students, and gave one to Danny last.
"I EXPECT you to be there, Mr. Fenton. This will give you an extra credit opportunity, and I wouldn't think about passing it up with your D average." He whispers.
Danny takes the paper, not staring into Mr. Lancers stern eyes.
Once Mr. Lancer was finished discussing the rules and regulations of the trip, the bell rang. Danny darted out of there as quick as he could before Mr. Lancer would drop his grade any lower.
"YES!" Danny said to Tucker and Sam once school was over as they were walking home.
"A week off from being Danny Phantom in the big city without my parents is probably going to be the best week of the school year!"
"I know! I can't wait to get out of my house of morning people and sleep in!" Sam said.
"I don't really care as long as they have Nasty Burgers up there. I can't live without my meat!" Tucker said.
"Yeah, I just hope that my parents don't ask to go with us...It'll just be annoying, especially since we'll be staying with some kid! Imagine what he would be thinking if my family was a bunch of ghost hunters! Nothing could be POSSIBLY worse than that!" Danny finished.
Let me know if you guys like it or not! (and to all of my fans that are reading my other fan-fic, sorry about all of Tucker's meat quotes!) Let me know your thoughts! (please no new characters)
Jake woke up from what he THOUGHT was a bad dream. Once he saw the scrapes and bruises of his former enemy, he knew his dream had been reality. Then he saw Fu Dog standing on his hind legs, like he usually does, at the end of his bed. Danny was looking slightly paranoid sitting on the corner of Jake's bed closest to the window as he frequently looked toward the clear glass.
They had gotten over his sudden yell and were now in silence. Danny, or who Jake guessed was Danny, was still wearing his black and silvery-white jumpsuit with small tears showing his skin. His brilliant green eyes were set in a fashion that expressed a look of curiousness toward the Human-Reptile.
Jake was getting irritated at the hard-stone glare that his friend was giving him. It seemed to say "Why didn't you tell me your secret?", so Jake sent the same cold stare back. Then he broke the silence.
"Danny, is that you?"
Danny knew he couldn't keep up this charade any longer.
"Yeah, it's me. But how do you know?!" Danny averted his eyes from his friend as he scanned him up and down.
"Well, I sort of saw you... transform when you fainted..."
"Oh, right..." Danny remembered.
"And, so we kinda fought each other without knowing, huh?" Jake said.
"So you WERE the dragon!" Danny's suspicions had been confirmed.
"Whoa, I definitely walked into that one!"
"Don't worry, dude. Your secret is safe with me."
"Good." At that very moment, the famous rings engulfed the ghostly being, soon transforming him into his regular self as Danny Fenton. Jake opened his mouth in awe, knowing that his transformation must look very similar. Jake wondered what his other half was.
Danny turned to Fu Dog. "So are you with him?"
"You bet, kid! Now, ah, since Jake is awake-"
"-you can tell me how you know I'm a halfa." Danny rudely finished.
"Jeesh, Kid! Can ya give a dog a break?!"
Jake was confused at the unfirmiliar word. "The What?!"
"Just a name that people call me; it just means that I am half human." Danny answered.
"Then what's the other half?"
"Okay, Okay, Kiddo! Let's just slow down the questions! Right now, we have to go save Gramps!"
Now Danny was confused. "Why? Oh, yeah, he was the blue dragon Skulker showed me, right?!" Danny assumed that being a dragon runs in the family.
"Yeah,...Skulker..." Fu Dog said, not knowing who this 'Skulker' person was.
"What are they going to do to him?" Danny asked.
"Well, the Huntsmaster must have teamed with this Skulker you talk about." Fu Dog thought aloud.
"They are going to slay him. It is just what the Huntsclan do, they hunt magical creatures."
"Wait, Magical Creatures? Is that guy crazy?" Danny asked.
"Uh, HELLO! Dragon here! I AM a magical creature!" Jake answered.
" Really? I thought that you were some kind of dragon-ghost... of course if there are dragon ghosts, then there must be real dragons..."
Jake cringed at the thought of becoming one of those dragon-ghosts Danny spoke of. The idea just felt strange.
Fu Dog directed their attention towards the matter once more. "Uh...GRAMPS ISN'T GETTING ANY YOUNGER! Kid, we are goin' to need back-up, and I mean SERIOUS back-up. Gramps is the most-guarded prisoner, with about 100 guards just waiting to shoot everything in their paths. If we are going to get the old man out of there, it isn't going to be easy."
You could almost see the lightbulb above Danny's head.
"I'll go get my friends, Sam and Tucker. They help me fight ghosts all of the time! And Skulker is no big deal."
"They are with Spud and Trixie, so might as well get them too." Jake added.
Fu Dog grinned. "Good. It's not going to be easy, but let's get a move on."
Jake sprung from his bed, said his famous catchphrase, and was instantly engulfed in flames.
At the same exact moment, Danny was engulfed in white light.
The heroes looked at eachother, one admiring the other, when Jake grabbed Fu Dog. Then the crew as off to finish the fight, even though Danny kept his other alter-ego a mystery.
WHOA! Longest Chapter, EVER! Okay, if you have read this far, thanks! I know it is not easy to read these parts in a short amount of time. I hope it makes up for all of this time I haven't been updating! Sorry if I didn't get Fu Dog's accent right...I was never good at writing those. Can't wait until the next part! THANKS FOR YOUR COMMENTS! KEEP ON COMMENTING AND READING!
THANKS SO MUCH! And this was the BEST, BEST chapter ever! I liked how evil, and careful you made them. This is AWESOME! And I can see you're already getting better and better each day! You're AWESOME, and I'm shaking! StarPaw,
His jetpacks were roaring in his ears as he returned to bring the good news to his colleague. He had strategically placed special "discoveries to be made" around Jake Long's current location and other places around the city. Skulker bared a brilliant evil smirk that seemed to have started at one ear and end at the other; nothing would be greater than what was to come. Especially afterwards.
He was lost in his thoughts of his lair in the Ghost Zone, where right at the foot of his bed was the pelt of his life-long hunting work.
Soon he approached the secret hiding place of the Huntsmaster. Skulker knew that he was a great man capable of wretched things with a powerful future, but did not want to be ruled by him. Skulker only took suggestions, not orders.
Skulker's thoughts then plunged into unknown questions that he had never considered when making his alliance with this unknown man. Although Skulker knew nothing of his previous life, the Huntsmaster was a very powerful being that knew of many magical creatures; magical creatures that Skulker very much longed to capture. It was a good thing, too, that Skulker had found out of his hatred toward magical creatures; not to mention ghosts so that he could disguise himself as a robotic man rather than a robotic ghost.
Skulker never knew of these magical creatures, and now that he knows, he has been making even bigger plans to invade both the normal human world as well as this world of strange and wondrous creatures; plans to conquer and rule. Skulker set these high ambitions to himself, and never discussed his plans to anyone other than his own thoughts. In his vision for the future, he pictured himself in a similar position as the Ghost King, with the Huntsmaster as his Fright Night. Skulker, up until now, believed that the Huntsmaster was loyal to HIM, not the other way around.
After his ectoplasmic subconscious was tiered of chiseling away at what he thought were his soon-to-be memories, he landed in the luxurious lair of the Huntsclan, where the Huntsmaster had been awaiting news patiently in front of a giant cage made of special material keeping its blue contents secure from within.
"So, the robotic man returns. Tell me: Did the ghost boy and the Dragon-Boy graciously accept the offering?" Skulker had already addressed the matter of the Ghost-Boy and explained who he was.
"Why yes," Skulker said in the most evil manner, "he and the Ghost-Child are in no condition to fight; which makes them an easy target." he finished.
"Thank you, Skulker, your actions are most admired. You know, I could offer you a spot under my command, we happen to, or soon, we will have an extra dragon to slay."
The offer sounded tempting: to hunt every magical creature in existence with an army by his side! That was a big honor to refuse. Skulker was familiar with the initiation of joining the Huntsclan; but was not, however, familiar with being the one commanded.
"Sorry, and thank you for the offer, but I think if it were best if I just got revenge on the ghost child, after all, that is what I came here for." he politely refused.
"Have you inserted the devices like I requested?" the Huntsmaster asked inquisitively.
"Yes, it's done. I've got the tracking devices in place."
"Good... now that we know their every move, Rose can finally say her first dragon." Huntsmaster said, looking at the old blue dragon in the cage.
"Of course, SHE will slay the American Dragon. And if you join me, Skulker, you may very well keep this one's pelt." he nodded to the blue dragon.
Jake's Grandpa was too worn out to argue. He was determined to get out of here, and thanks to Rose, him nor Jake were going to be slayed. He was sure of it.
Hey, everybody! I think that this is my longest chapter yet! I would like to give a big THANK YOU to StarPaw, because without her, I probably wouldn't have written this part! So, Thanks StarPaw, for inspiring me! And I know, not a lot of action...it was more of a filler chapter, if you know what I mean. And I am sorry to you guys, because this whole time I have been spelling "Slay" wrong! I use to spell it like "Sleigh", like the one that you ride on in the winter. Sorry about that! Anyway, I hope you guys enjoyed it, and liked this chapter, and there is going to be a lot of talking in the next chapter, so be prepared!
Danny's eyes had gone wide with fear. First of all, how was this dog talking and how did he know his most prized secret?! Oh well. He couldn't ponder over this; he needed to bring Jake back to his room.
"I think I will be able to help you, Weird-Talking-Dog-That-Somehow-Knows me." Fu Dog looked a little insulted, but then shrugged it off. Then Danny bent down to pick up body of his friend; he did so with ease as he put the boy on his shoulders. After telling Fu Dog to grab hold of his ghostly body, Danny flew up to the window of Jake's room that he had left open a moment ago, landing on the fire escape just beside it. Danny then used his ghostly abilities to turn himself intangible and pass through the wall. Even though the window was open, there was no way that he was going to fit through it carrying the two bodies on his back; this way was much easier.
Once in the room, Fu Dog jumped off of Danny's back and landed on the floor. Danny, still carrying Jake, walked to his dragon-friend's bed and placed him there in a comfortable resting position. Now was the time for answers, and he knew just who to talk to, as long as he hadn't really been imagining; but if ghosts were real, then why couldn't a talking dog be?!
"So..." Danny said lamely, trying to make conversation with the dog.
"Yeah, ghost boy?" the dog replied.
"...You're a talking dog..."
"This is kind of....different...I haven't really met many talking dogs before."
"Well I haven't met a person, erm, ghost like you before." Fu Dog replied.
"How do you know who I am?" Danny said, seizing the perfect moment to ask the question.
"Before I answer, may I get you to sign here?" Fu Dog magically pulled out a pen and a notepad from one of his many flaps of fur, almost sticking the items in Danny's face.
'I'll be able to make a fortune off of this!' the cunning dog thought.
Danny pushed the objects away from his face, rejecting the offer.
"Not until you tell me what's going on! Skulker says that he has teamed up with this 'Huntsmaster' guy, and I for one would like to know who he is."
Fu Dog cringed at the mention of 'Huntsmaster'. "Look, Kid, I'd rather tell Jake than tell you right now. Me and...well...Just give me a break, will ya?!"
Danny became silent and turned his head away from the hound over to Jake's bed, then walking toward him to make sure he is okay.
Then with a start, Jake woke up.
"AHHHHH!!!! WHERE AM I???!!! Oh; nevermind. I just..." Jake looked at Fu Dog, "...had a bad dream."
Hi, everybody! I have been having a lot of time on my hands, so naturally I am going to make a long part. Thanks for all of your comments! I really appreciate it. And thanks for the suggestion, StarPaw! The next part will have that scene in it; your idea just gave me a bunch of ideas, so thank you! KEEP COMMENTING!!!!!

Uh... let see.... uhhhh...

Okay, so it's a scene with Skulker and the Huntsmaster! And Gramps is in a cage... and Skulker says to Huntsmaster...
Skulker: "It's done. I've got the tracking devices in place."
Huntsmaster: "Good... now that we know their every move... Rose can finally slay her first dragon."
And add whatever you want, change it up. It's only an idea to get you going.
OMG! You listen to Evanescence too?! I HAVE THEM ON MY IPOD! Lets see... I have "Sweet Sacrifice" , "Weight of the World." , and "Like You."
I'm listening to "Bring me to life." now because I read your comment... and I realized that I've heard this before! You're awesome!
Save me from the Noth-ing I've,
I LOVE THIS FAN-FIC SO MUCH!!! PLEASE MAKE MORE!!
Two contraptions sprang out of Skulker's arms and settled just above his robotic wrists. Then, almost as if reading his mind, the contraptions began shoot green ecto blasts; one aimed at Danny and one aimed at Jake. Then with a slight hesitation, he did so a third time aiming at Fu Dog.
"You wouldn't think that I would leave you without a LITTLE pain, would you?! HAHAHAHAH!!!" Skulker's insane laughter faded in the distance as he left the innocent heroes on the pavement.
The heroes were laying on the ground for only an instant; for the blast had only stunned them momentarily.
Danny was the first to get up and notice the dragon on the pavement of the alleyway; he soon noticed the figure of a dog that the dragon had reached out to save.
'Maybe this dragon isn't so bad of a guy...'
Then his conscious kicked in.
Why hadn't he remembered! The dragon IS Jake! 'Oh great! What am I going to do now?!' he thought.
Just then Fu Dog began to wake up after being stunned. Once he regained memory and balance, he stood up on his chubby legs. Then with his paws brushed off the dust from his fur, along with pulling out a piece of dirty gum that had been on the cement from his coat. Fu Dog looked down at the boy that he was supposed to be protecting and immediately ran...er, waddled...to his side.
Danny noticed this and ran over as well, 'Well, if this guy, umm, dog is trying to help, then he must be with Jake!' he thought. Then Fu Dog looked into the eyes of the newcomer that had rushed to his aide. Their eyes locked in a moment; dark grey into toxic green; both full with understanding.
"Who are you?" Fu Dog said; then his eyes became as large as bowling balls, "Ahhhh, I see who you are. Just come over here, and help me carry him up the fire escape. It might be a little tricky since he is in his dragon form still-" as if on cue, the big red dragon became human once more, taking the body of his normal Jake-Long self.
"Never mind. Now help me, halfa! I believe that I have got some sleep to catch up on."

Part 27: Continuing
Jake fell, and fell and fell. He finally landed with a KABOOM on the cement, but he did not lose consciousness again, or faint for that matter. Instead he carried his weight and got up from the ground to see Danny with toxic green eyes and steaming green hands glowering at him from the dark part of the alleyway right outside his bedroom.
Jake went to his last resort.
"Awwww MAN!" Jake muttered to himself, "well, if I don't then I'll be beat for SURE! Oh well, here it goes."
"Danny, I know it's you." Jake said.
"Who? Wait, whaaa...I mean, erm, who?"
"You got to trust me on this one, man."
"Trust who? YOU?" Danny asked.
"No, trust me, Ghost Child."
"DOUBLE Awwwww man!" Jake said slapping his forehead.
Skulker was flying by using his robotic jet packs. From where Jake was standing (facing Danny toward the back end of the alleyway wall) he saw Skulker to his right; just above the building for his house.
"Yo! Whatcha doin' here? You're the guy that trashed that building!" Jake yelled.
"Skulker, What do you want?! In case you haven't noticed, I am sort of busy at the moment." Danny gestured to Jake as he glowered at Skulker.
"Why, Ghost Child, I only bring a warning for what is to come if you don't surrender to become the pelt at the foot of my bed. The Huntsmaster, who has been so kind, has even given me permission to capture you with his help and keep your pelt! Of course, only if I capture you. The dragon child." Skulker pointed at Jake in his dragon form.
"Wait...'Dragon Child?!" Danny exclaimed as he turned his head to look at Jake.
Skulker ignored him and continued: "Of course, I just told him to sleigh the blue dragon, but he said that it would keep things suspenseful. Now then, here is your warning."
Skulker used his robotic arm to reach behind himself and pulled out a big grey blob that was strapped to his back. He then held it straight in front of himself and let go of it.
Immediately Jake went to the rescue of his beloved dog. "NOOOO!!!!!" He flew over to the ground where he expected the dog to land, and thankfully he caught Fu Dog.
"Now then, I believe that this should be enough for BOTH of your surrenders!" and with that, Skulker disappeared into the shadows; but not before shooting both heroes with ecto blasts.
Like I said, I posted this part as fast as I could! I think you guys are going to LOVE the next part! It's all going to happen in one dramatic moment. The next part is going to be Awesome (er)! And thank you for commenting, StarPaw! AND REMEMBER TO COMMENT! I NEED TO KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS!
Part 26: More Discoveries
Jake carried Danny all of the way to his room. In fact, Jake was still in his dragon form when he landed on the fire escape of his bedroom window. Jake, knowing that the alarm wasn't on, opened the window to his room and placed Danny on his bed. Right now the only important event that Jake could pay attention to was Danny.
Once Danny was laying down in the bed peacefully, Jake decided to enter the room himself. Since he rather have one person spot his "transformation" than the other citizens in New York, he climbed into his room in his dragon form; of course, he was much too big and he hit his head on the top of the windowsill.
"OUCH!!!!" he yelled rubbing his head.
Immediately, Danny's eyes zapped open and zoomed around the room; his eyes eventually reached the big red monster at the windowsill.
"Not you again! Not NOW!!!" Danny yelled. He still had not noticed his surroundings.
"Wha...No! No! You don't understand, man!" Jake yelled.
"You are right, I don't understand," Danny flew into the air and turned into his ghostly self.
"No, I mean you REALLY DON'T UNDERSTAND!" Jake repeated.
"Look, I don't know what you did, but one thing is sure: you are going DOWN!"
Danny shot one ecto blast right at Jake's face, knocking him out of the window into the open.
"Wait....uhhh...kid...just let me explain!"
"Sure," Danny said calmly, then creating clones of himself to surround the dragon "once you pay the price!" the Danny's said.
Then they all pulled one hand all of the way back and then released the energy into a punch. The combined force of all of their punches caused Jake to lose consciousness; falling towards the ground.
Danny became his one-self again as he watched the big red winged beast fall to the cement ground.
Sorry about the super-long wait, but I sure hope this part makes up for it! The next one will be action-packed and is coming out soon, and I mean real soon this time! Enjoy!
