Im reposting my story. I had it deleted myself. There was no problem with the mods or anything. Its just, I looked through it, and it had a ton of grammar mistakes, and I didnt think that was the BIGGEST deal in the world, but then, my friend Bookie pointed out that even the title was screwed up. I drew the line there. So, I tweaked my grammar, a few parts may be a BIT different, so keep your eyes pealed.
Chapter one.
~Tempras POV. ~
I closed my eyes and braced myself for what was coming. I felt a sharp pain, and I was sent flying backwards. Full throttle.
He looked down on me with his cold snake eyes, I saw no regret for what he had just done to me. I forced myself up. I wasnt letting him get away with this.
He grabbed me by the shoulders, then slammed me to the ground, and then he pinned me to the ground.
Why dont you just stay down like the weakling you are, Tempra? He demanded. I kicked him hard in the shoulder, but he didnt budge, he didnt even flinch. I wanted to let all my anger out, I wanted to throw all the fire I had at him.
But I couldnt. My chi was blocked.
Let me go! I shouted at him.
Why should I? He said. You are the darkness, I am the light. Doesnt the light always devour the dark?
Let. Me. Go. I said. He laughed. No. He said.
I was in pain, my chi was blocked, who knows what he had done to Kai...
What have you done to her? I demended.
Only what she deserved. He told me.
And youre about to get what you deserve, Tempra. He said.
He lifted his fist in a bending position. I looked up. Over us, was a cliff.
What were cliffs made of? Earth.
Dont do this. I said to him. He grinned an evil grin.
Whos gonna stop me? He asked. He bended the earth down, and stepped away. I was in too much pain to escape. It was the end.
I closed my eyes, getting ready for death to take me away to the sprit world.
What the heck are you doing?!
I heard him shout. I felt him land next to me. In a spit seconds time, the same someone who had just thrown him down, grabbed my feet and pulled me out of the way.
I heard the rocks hit the ground. HARD.
I knew he was gone.
And I was sticking around.

I never knew that my life would take so many turns, I never knew that destiny would lead me to this.
This is not the end of my fateful tale. Where we are now is pretty dang close, but where Im about to take you is far from it.
I know you must be dying to know how it ends, but what would it mean to you if you didnt know it from the beginning?
Darn. Usually it comes with the computer. Try clicking the start menu and type in 'notepad' where it says 'Search programs and files' in italics. If you're not following with me at all, that's fine. Another thing you can do is change 'smart quotes' to 'straight quotes' on your processor.
I just started reading this, so I have a longgg way to go. But it seems pretty awesome! It's sad about Fang leaving, though. She seemed like an amazing writer.
I posted here around the time Fang left, under 3seraphim3. I still like this story very much a lot, but... it's not the same. Faloan, you're still doing a great job though. Copy/paste your original chapter into Notepad, then copy/paste it here. That gets rid of the glitchy question marks.
Chapter thirty six
Kai?s POV
I woke up in a small, clean room with a small bedside table, a chair, a bed, and a small window. Kustos was dozing peacefully in the chair. All my muscles were sore, my neck hurt, and so did my arm. I didn?t remember where I was, or how I had gotten here. Then I remembered Drakon trying to kill me, I was alive. I didn?t see Tempra, I remember how much worse off he had been before the fight, did he die? I had so many questions. ?Kustos?? I said quietly, he jolted awake as if I had yelled.
?Kai, are you okay, how are you feeling, are you hungry?? He asked.
?No, but where is Tempra?? I asked, my stomach growled. ?Okay, a little hungry, but where is Tempra?? I asked again.
?He?s in another room, he was really hurt too. In fact they were surprised he managed to walk in here, and not have to be carried. They were surprised he was even alive.? He added.
?Is he gonna be okay?? I desperately questioned.
?Yes, he should be fine, but both of you need to stay out of trouble, and not get too stressed. Kai, I don?t want you to try to go see Tempra until the healer says you can see him. Okay?? He knew I couldn?t be trusted to stay away from Tempra for long.
?Fine.? I replied dejectedly.
?If it makes you feel better, I?m sorry for what I did, and I?m sorry I tried to kill your boyfriend.? Kustos apologized.
?He?s not my boyfriend, okay, maybe, but it?s okay, and you should apologize to him too.? I said.
?I will.? He responded. I looked around, I knew that life would never be the same. I looked at the long shadows of the room, a soft orange light coming from the window. The next day I had another healing session, and one the next day too.
?Kai, guess who?s here?? Kustos said, he walked in with a plate of food, followed by Tempra.
?Tempra! Oh my gosh, finally! I thought it would be another day!? I said, he walked over, I hugged him, he hugged me back. We kissed each other.
?I?m glad to see you?re okay.? He said, he had never looked more happy, not once in the time I had known him.
?I love you Tempra.? I said quietly.
?I love you too, Kai.? He said, we kissed again. Both of us had worried more about the other since we had woken up.
And I just realized that in my previous post I spelled your name wrong. Woe is to me. Sorry!!!!! I'm kinda shocked right now that Fang left......She was one of the people I thought would stick to it.....Guess not.

Chapter thirty five
Tempra?s POV
They took me to a room with a clean bed and a chair and bedside table by the bed.
?I?ll send the healer in here as soon as she has finished healing your friend.? The girl gave a friendly smile, she couldn?t be any older than me. I laid on the small bed, my chest throbbed, my skin stung, and my muscles were finally relaxing. I knew that I could do nothing more to help Kai, it was all in the healer?s hands. I laid my head on the soft, clean, white pillow and almost instantly fell asleep.
?Dear, wake up.? The healer gently coaxed me awake. ?What happened, it looked like someone tried to attack you and your friend.? She said, she was gently poking around the bruises, seeing when I winced the most to see what was the worst.
?Nothing, it was just an accident, a rock slide, that was all.? I lied, I knew I couldn?t say anything about what really happened.
?It didn?t just look like wounds from rocks on your friend, there were knife wounds.? The healer said gently. I winced when she hit a particularly tender bruise. ?Sorry.? She said, she motioned for me to hold out my arm, she looked at it. I knew it must be broken, and sure enough it was. I winced again. ?Sorry.? She sighed apologetically.
?Is Kai going to be okay?? I asked.
?I think she will be, we can?t be sure but she isn?t as critical now.? The healer smiled wearily. I could tell she was working as hard as she could, to help us, and anyone else who came in. She started healing me, but it didn?t do as much good as it would have for open wounds. I felt a few smaller bruises seem to just melt away, the veins and arteries that had allowed the bruises to form healing. I actually fell asleep before she was even done healing me. I woke up, the room was bright, there was a small plate of food on the bedside table. It had some soft food, but I was starving, I didn?t complain. I really wanted more food, but I knew that wouldn?t agree with my stomach. A nurse walked in, she walked over.
?How are you doing toady?? She asked.
?Fine.? I said.
?Your friend is awake.? She said softly.
?Can I see her?? I asked, sitting bolt up right, it was a bad idea, my head suddenly throbbed, my chest burned, and my arm hurt.
?No, you both need to heal, quiet a bit in your case. You have quiet a few internal injuries, but with a few more healing sessions you?ll be a lot better.? She smiled, I just sighed. I wanted to see Kai, that was all I wanted.
Chapter thirty four
Kai?s POV
The next thing I remember is Kustos next to me, saying things like ?Hang on, just a little longer Kai.You can make it.? and ?Don?t die, please.? Everything is sorta foggy and I can?t make sense of anything. Then Kustos left, there was a rumbling sound, a few minutes later Kustos came back followed by Tempra, Tempra was limping badly, he looked hurt. I moved a little, trying to get my side off of a sharp rock.
?Kai, what happened, who did this?? Tempra asked, he turned on Kustos. ?Did you?? He questioned, narrowing his eyes.
?No, I would never do that to Kai, she?s my sister. I may have wanted to hurt you, but never Kai.? Kustos said. Tempra calmed down and kneeled next to me.
?Drakon.? I said in a faint whisper. ?He did it.? My eyelids felt heavy and I wanted nothing more than to sleep, I slowly let it get the better of me.
Tempra?s POV
?What can we do, the nearest town in Omashu, and I don?t think they would exactly let us go in and say, Hey, the girl who destroyed one of the people here today needs help, what can we do?? I asked Kustos.
?Theres a town just north of here, do you think you could make it? It?s about a mile or two away.? Kustos offered.
?I think so, but what about her?? I motioned to Kai. Kustos didn?t answer, he walked over and gently picked her up. He started walking in the direction of the town. I followed behind, my muscles ached, my chest burned, the cold stung my bare torso and chest. I took a deep breath and kept moving, I knew I had to try to keep up. Kustos never stopped once to check I was still alive and following. Kustos had gotten so far ahead by now that he was just disappearing over the next hill when I finally caught up, there was the city. We kept going, in silence. The only noise was one of us or the other sighing or breathing. We made it to the city.
?Excuse me, is there a healer or doctor here?? Kustos asked desperately to any passerby's who would listen.
?Yes, just down the street.? One kind woman replied.
?Thank you.? Me and Kustos said in unison. We went there, and sure enough there it was. I opened the door so Kustos could carry Kai in.
?Hello, oh dear, I?ll get the healer.? A girl sitting at the desk said and walked into the other room. When she came back a young water-bender followed, she took one look at Kai and took her from Kustos?s arms, she took her to another room and started to heal her. They looked at me too. ?Come with me dear.? The girl from behind the desk said.

?Wait, where is Kai? Is she alright?? I asked in a rush.
?She is in a really bad way. With both of you so hurt, I don?t know if I can get you to the next town.? Kustos admitted.
The question marks everywhere come from a wrong apostrophe, quotation marks, ' " is what they should look like, you can avoid the ????? by typing in the reply box then coping and pasting to another document.
