Nice stuff, nice stuff! Okay, since this is really the only ff I'm doing, I seriously need to get this chapter up. I SHALL DO IT! *after I do homework and play online dress up games and listen to this radio talk show and stuff*
*looks up from sewing Fionna's hat* What's that? (Seriously, I sewed an Adventure Time hat last year. By hand. That's how hardcore I am :D)
Oh, by the 'way,' I already have Lezi's backstory all plotted out now ever since we introduced her in the story, heheh. It's rather long, so prepare for a wall of text ^^"
Geld was an only child, so his parents thought that it'd be good for him to have another sibling, so they adopted Lexi. After the car accident which made both Geld and Lexi orphans, Geld was eight and Lexi was around the age of fourteen at the time. They (well, Lexi, being the oldest of the two) decided to not go to the orphanage because she thought they could manage by themselves, so she barely managed to earn enough money to rent a small apartment by crafting and selling flower hair clips. Geld helped her a lot in making them. Anyway, when they were doing okay economically, she would volunteer at a local orphanage a few times a week. She was supposed to be a positive role model for three children in the orphanage. They were Seto, Solana, and Avila. BOOM. :D *ahem* They, at first, were awkward and quiet around her. However, she had an idea. Geld and her used to dress up in "capes" that were blankets and pretend to be superheroes, so she draped a blanket on herself and began to parkour around the place clumsily, causing the three to erupt in laughter. They eventually enjoy her company and have fun with her.
Now fast-forward a bit when Lexi is nineteen. She meets with Seto, Solana, and Avila at... uh... a park or something. They tell her that they were moving out of the orphanage and making a secret organization. The trio offers her to join, but she refuses, saying that she would be a third wheel to the group since she was a non-bender and didn't know how to fight. They also mention an earthbender joining. She doesn't know it's Geld until he talks to her that night about the group excitedly. They met him while he was painting a mural at night ('cause, y'know, he was a street artist).
F.A.L.S.E. had their first mission, and although it was minor, it was a great success. However, since they were inexperienced in covering up their trail, the Novaists somehow found lots of evidence against them. But the evidence was also about other people who were near the site of the incident or closely related to them (ex: sister), so when they narrowed it down to a list of names and somehow made it public like a Wanted list? Lexi found out about it, and she found everyone's name along with her own on the list. Fearing that her brother, Avila, Seto, and Solana would get caught, she turned herself in and pretended that she committed the crime.
(Sigh) Alright, alright. That's actually a genius idea. And it's the mature, responsible thing to do.
You: (Puts ice cream cones in the toaster) What's that? [Have you ever watched Adventure Time? It's one of my favorite television programs...]
Anywho, I think a "Tales of Ba Sing Se" style chapter would be great! Let's find five or six scenarios, and then that chapter could include four of them. I have quite a few ideas...
° Tamara and Seto do something together. I don't care what it is, be it going to the mall, going to a frozen yoghurt place, alligator wrestling. We just really need to focus on those two!!
° Geld takes a walk on his own, thinking about Lexi. Then, he sees a woman from behind, and it looks just like her! He runs to her, but then she turns around, and it's not... A couple other things could happen too. Main point: Geld misses Lexi!
° Ivy and Mac could pull some tricks on some people, and get into trouble!!
° To close the chapter, Harmonie might go on a spa day with one or two other girls (not Avila, of course) and when she's walking home, she sees some Airbender-Obsessed Cult propaganda.
Just to remind you, I made a tragic mistake in Book I. Instead of failing Kira's resue mission, I made Mac get kidnapped. We could try to include it in this book, but it would have to be early on, because for most of the time, Harmonie will be focusing on Airbender Cult or be focusing on being kidnapped by the AC. So... Yeah. AGAIN: Kira's first rescue should end in failure. The second time: F.A.L.S.E wins Kira back.
I have a fever that makes me feel like I was lit on fire, and my throat feels like I was chugging razor blades.
Oooh~ Interesting plot twist! Me gusta. Me gusta mucho. ouo
And, uh, can we, um, focus a bit more on the, uh, other members of F.A.L.S.E.? Please? Just, uh, just a bit more? ^^" I kinda want to work on their character developement a bit more, hehe. Maybe make a chapter or two similair to the episode of ATLA "Tales from Ba Sing Se?" Because, uh, I want to divide the spotlight at least a bit equally. I know that there are around ten characters, and it's hard to balance time for each one, but even though they're less significant to the story than Harmonie, I think they at least deserve a bit of screen time? ^^"
Oh man, I am EXCITED to put my plan into action. In case you've forgotten, I'm copying/pasting from an earlier post on this thread.
Book 2: The Bishops: Now that Li-Nova is practically indestructible, F.A.L.S.E takes a breath to focus on more local issues. Like the religious cult promoting the supremacy of airbending and kidnapping Harmonie. (Which is why I renamed "The Rooks" and changed it to "The Bishops.") This book ends with the cult going down in flames, and F.A.L.S.E getting a new base.
However, after this cult kidnaps Harmonie and makes her their ruler, Harmonie might begin to enjoy her new life. So when the F.A.L.S.E rescues her, it's a struggle to make her come back to them. Harmonie then turns against her friends, battling them furiously. Only when she injures Geld (or Cleon) does she wake up from the spell power has put over her. She woke up by the power of love.
If you need help on the next chapter (since I feel guilty for leaving you like that X_X) I had an idea that one of the members of F.A.L.S.E. would fall through a weak wooden board into the abandoned subway. They would follow him/her into there, and Ora says that the temperature and state of the subway was the perfect home for a healing mushroom/herb for asthma, so they search for it and find it? .3.
Oh, and Lexi is Geld's older sister c: Her past is rather long, though, so tell me when you feel bored and want to read a huge wall of text about a minor character (that turns out to be a bit major after all :P).
*raises hand* Way-chan! I have a question! I think I know the answer to this question, but just in case, when we start a new book, the chapter number continues, right? It doesn't reset, right? The next chapter is thirty-one, right? o3o
I also have Lexi's past pinned down to a board, but I'll share that later ._. Right now I need to finish the twenty percent left of the chapter to do :P
Since Seto and Solana don't have character bios, let's say they're from a multicultural family (kinda like Mako and Bolin) so Seto is a waterbender and Solana is an earthbender .3.
By the 'way,' I have an idea. They go through their regular plans to steal the file (which turn out successful) but then reinforcements come and because they don't want to risk damage being done to the file, they decide to run for it. They dash through this night market in an epic chase scene. During the chase scene, a lot of F.A.L.S.E. is seperated because the amount of people. So Harmonie is left alone to run for a little bit but then:
The vibrant, lively colors of the night market vanished into the backround completely when a gloved hand gently held onto her wrist and politely pulled her forward. Geld?
As the person guided her forward quickly, he said, "You must accelerate the speed of your feet to 'catch up,' as others would put."
I GOT TWO WORDS: PLOT. TWIST. YEAHHHHH.
Also, I had this cool idea. Since Cleon is this sorta cyborg-thing, later on in the story, he gets this weird virus that starts controlling him planted by Li-Nova. So, under the control of the new virus, he turns in all of F.A.L.S.E. to the government and kinda taunts Harmonie by saying she's a bad leader and everything (obviously, he doesn't mean to, but y'know, viruses do things to you .3.)
*evil grin* They sneak into the military headquarters, after fighting off a gazillion men at once, then they grab the file reading Operation Nation Recon. (which looks like a silver, electronic tablet, to give you any ideas.) and then they make a mad dash for the exit!
But... uh... how exactly are they going to? o3o Are they going to dig into more of the files? Or, uh, infiltrate the city library or something? Or eavesdrop on Li-Nova's conversation with his advisor? .3.
*facedesk* If I was a member of F.A.L.S.E., I'd probably be captured by now.
*achoo* And for asking so many questions, I'm punished with a cold. *sniff*
