*raises hand* I have a question! Can I include a bit of Clarmonie? Just asking, because maybe you're continuing with the pretending-Clarmonie-doesn't-exist-and-maniacally-laughing-in-the-backround thing and I don't want to break it in case. xD
Hmmm, I'm not sure. See, things like that only really work with extremely popular fanfictions that have been up for a while, in my opinion. But I do like the idea! I think we'll just have to do good old fashioned advertising, go around on other peoples stories and beg at their doorstep. Or, strike up a deal with another new fic (Too Much Faith, for example) and tell the writer we'll read theirs if they read ours.
Kumoyo for clearing that out~! (Thank you) ^^ You know, I have this cool idea to attract more readers: perhaps we can hold a Q&A about the fanfic? Of course, we won't give out answers/spoilers to them, but it'd be pretty cool, and so far I haven't seen anyone else do this before. ^w^ What do you think?
_^*KawaiiGrrl*^_ The loof, the loof, the loof is on fiyah.
Also, it's hard to work backwards for this if you didn't write the code, so I wanna help you so that you can make sure the F.A.L.S.E get the same "Aha" moment. It's a more convincing chapter that 'way'. ^v^ Now, hang on tight!
Nprteaioo: Ntnaio Ncncltreoiiaio
One might want to start by playing with the vowels, to work backwards, but let's start with inverting the first and last letters. Why? Because. 0_0
The next step would be moving the vowels. Make sure to sandwich a vowel between two consonants, so a vowel doesn't end up next to another vowel. ^v^ Every time you type one vowel between two consonants, delete the one that was already there. Two letters in, and you should get:
It now reads:
Operation: Ntnaio Ncncltreoiiaio
It's hard to apply the same logic to the other word. You know this because of trial and error. Try what you did with the other word, and you'll get:
which is not a word. You can now guess that the last consonant you see in the word before you read the vowels was already at the end of the word originally. Try it out!
It's not hard to figure it out, now. Just invert the t and the a.
Operation: Nation Ncncltreoiiaio
Last one, Kawaii-chan! ^3^ Let's start by our original operation to see what we get...
Uh, nope. Next operation: Guessing! Last constant, we move it to the beginning. I've already tried moving it to the end, and it just don't work.
Now, let's try the vowel sandwich again.
Let's play with it, since it ALMOST makes since.
Operation: Nation Reconciliation
(I worked on this solution for three hours when I first designed the code. Enjoy the fruits of my labors, Kawaii. -_-)
That would be an interesting idea, the fake Li-Nova. What if the real Li-Nova, the actual man behind the curtain, was not at all like the attractive faker on stage, but with a face that is horribly disfigured because of a bending accident? Firebending, bloodbending...?
Any'way', even though I'm sure there is one person looking for spoilers, I'll tell you the code's secret. Besides, the mods are probably slightly interested. Right?
Mod: Eh. *shrugs*
Okay. So here is the trick:
1. (Write the real words) Hello there, how is your hair? Is it gold, or are you bald?
2. (Switch the first and last letters of a word) Oellh ehert, woh si rouy raih? Si ti dolg, ro era uoy dalb?
3. (Move all the vowels to the end of a word) Llhoe hrtee, who si ryou rhai? Si ti dlgo, ro rea yuo dlba?
Mod: Eh. *shrugs*
But since F.A.L.S.E hasn't gotten it yet, we have plenty of time to focus on Harmonie's tutors. I was thinking we do Geld's training session first, with lots of fluff. Then, we do Avila second, with lots of spite. In between Avila and Cleon, we focus on the code, and actually figure it out. Lastly, we do Cleon, and it's creepily romantic, like all those mangas I'm not allowed to read but do any'way'.
Also, a slight change to our original plan. It's too hard to explain it straight out, so here's what we could do...
Book 1: The Pawns: Focuses on Harmonie's debut, her feelings about her friends, and the petty struggle against Li-Nova's incredible strong forces. Then, at the end of the book, F.A.L.S.E takes a huge fall (base blows up) and Li-Nova is more powerful than ever. In fact, Li-Nova enacts his plan to unite all nations by taking away bending and spreading his regime to all corners of the earth, not just his continent. *Cliffie!*
Book 2: The Bishops: Now that Li-Nova is practically indestructible, F.A.L.S.E takes a breath to focus on more local issues. Like the religious cult promoting the supremacy of airbending and kidnapping Harmonie. (Which is why I renamed "The Rooks" and changed it to "The Bishops.") This book ends with the cult going down in flames, and F.A.L.S.E getting a new base.
Book 3: The Kings: F.A.L.S.E is back in the game with a better base, and for the first part of this book, F.A.L.S.E does their normal stuff. Messing with Li-Nova's software, blowing stuff up, doing whatever they can to keep the Novaists on their toes. But in the late middle of the book, Harmonie and the other important characters infiltrate Li-Nova's special headquarters disguised as maids and butlers! It ends with Li-Nova in prison, and the four Nations united by love and peace and all that junk.
Hmm... what exactly are you planing? *philosopher's face on* Don't tell me, though, because I'm pretty sure there's at least one person here reading for potential spoilers e_e *glares*
Want me to post little skits in between chapters to keep readers entertained and have something to come back and comment for? I can do dat :D Takes a few minutes to write a skit, so it's nuthin' hard that I can't handle~
For some reason, I thought it would be clever that Li-Nova was actually just a sort of mask. Like, Li-Nova knew that one day, people would eventually rebel against him, so he got a random person, a homeless person probably since he can easily be bribed or something, and made him "Li-Nova" so he can work behind-the-scenes and the fake Li-Nova can go be a public figure, and, y'know, do stuff that fake Li-Novas do ._. They don't know how REAL Li-Nova looks like, so that'd be an interesting plot twist (I think). I dunno, just a thought. :P
I think we should also focus on the other members in F.A.L.S.E. a bit more. Most of the spotlight has been on Harmonie (well, of course she's the exception because she's the main character... so derp XD), Cleon, Geld, Avila, and a bit of Troy here and there. I think we can shine the spotlight temporarily on a different character, for example, maybe Kathe (forgive me for not using the special a which I forgot its name) is Harmonie's closest friend. Or maybe this hunch is just me ^^"
(Gosh I have a huge playlist made up of theme songs I assigned to different members. I mean... um... KARATE CHOP! *chop*)
Nah, I'd like it if you could get me a huge, long, detailed chapter full of suspense and action and romance and mystery. Kidding! But I do think it's a little too early for Novaists to wreak havoc on F.A.L.S.E. I feel like we need our favorite Fallen Angels Leading Safe Endings to wreak havoc on Li Nova's guys. ^^
This story is almost as fun as playing Bugs vs. Tanks...
... I was thinking of a side-pairing for some reason. o3o
[ 2 DAYS LATER, SHE WAS HELD CAPTIVE BY A GROUP OF FANS ]
*ahem* Anyway, I was wondering if I should still write the filler that I was thinking of before (it's going to be a food-eating contest .3.) and then maybe the Novaists come and be party-poopers by ending the celebrations with a bang, if you know what I mean .3. Or maybe it's still too early for dat xD
