Part 1 of Prologue(Sam POV):
I'm exhausted! I decided to sleep for a little while. I close my eyes, and slowly begin to drift off to sleep . . . . "Mommy!", I hear a shout from the backseat of the minivan. I roll my eyes. I have not gotten a break from my kids this whole entire roadtrip. "What?", I ask my 4-year-old daughter, Maybelle. "Jathan keeps kicking my seat." Jathan, did I not tell you to leave your little sister alone?", I ask my son. "Yes", he replies. "Well why won't you stop, I'm trying to sleep." "I'm bored, there's nothing on the TV, and my Pearpod died.",he answers. "Well go to sleep, your mom and sisters are trying to sleep.",I hear Freddie say. I jumped, almost forgetting he was there. After that, it quieted down. After Carly left back when we were seniors in 2012, Freddie and I has graduated Ridgeway together, and we both went to college together at Seattle Art Institute. I became a professional chef, and had opened a restaurant with a friend from highschool, Wendy.
A/N Part 2 for Chapter 6:
You'll also get to know the kids better! And, you might even get to find out what Sam's secret is, or maybe not. I'll be the one who decides that! So stay tuned for the next part of iAll Grown Up! Yay! I feel like a TV announcer! Lol. Thanks for reading guys. Happy 11/12/13!
Chapter 6, Part 10: (Sam's POV):
I can feel Freddie grinning against me. "And I know that this week will bring very special memories.", I add, hinting something. "Yeah. I bet it will.", he says, bending down to kiss my forehead. 'If only he knew.', I thought, smiling.
~END OF CHAPTER 6~
Hey guys! Yay! Thank you 4 day weekend for finally, allowing me to update this! It took me about an hour to write this on Sunday and I figure out I could write it much faster by writing it in my iPod than writing it down first when I might forget to add something. Can you believe Carly? I'm starting to get annoyed by her. What do you guys think is up with Sam? She's hiding something, and I'm the ONLY one who knows what it is. Mu ha ha! (terrible evil laugh attempt). My favorite part had to be the cute ending because I love Seddie so much! Much more drama in the next chapter! More Carly drama and more Spencer and Gibby craziness! And of course, definitely more Seddie!
Chapter 6, Part 9: (Sam's POV):
After Sasha, Carly, and I all get the kids into bed, we all go to bed as well. I quickly take a shower, then climb into bed next to Freddie. "I'm so tired!", I moan. "Me too babe. We were driving like all day yesterday and like half of today.", he reminds me. I nod. "Man I can't believe Carly. I mean I get it's bad what we did, but it's even worse that she did the same exact thing by not telling us about her and Gibby then getting mad at us!", I fume. "I know, but you know her. Don't worry about it baby. She'll come around.", Freddie says. "Yeah I guess.", I shrug. I yawn. "You should really get some sleep sweetie. You're really tired.", Freddie says. He shuts off the bedside lamp and I curl up against his side, laying my head on his shoulder. "Thanks baby. For everything. I know how much you want us to enjoy this week. And even if it doesn't go so well, I'll be happy because I got to spend it with my best friend, regardless of what Carly causes.",
Chapter 6, Part 8: (Sam POV):
They must've definitely gotten their brains from the Shay's side of the family. "We are too talking, you just don't see it.", she lies. She makes a point by sitting across from us at dinner.I decide to try to show her that I'm not mad at her. "Hey Carls, I love your outfit.", I say smiling at her. This is always how I got her to talk to me whenever we were fighting back when we were teens. "Thanks.", she simply says with a smirk and then gets back to eating. I roll my eyes.
Correction: Some things DO change! I get back to the conversation everyone else is in, including the kids. We all finish dinner, then head back to the camp.
. . . . . . . .
"All right guys, bed time! Go brush your teeth and get to bed.", I instruct the kids. Growing up, I had always HATED to be told to do ANYTHING! But, I know that kids need rules and boundaries to be set. Uh! Look at me! I sound like Dr. Phyllis!
Chapter 6, Part 7: (Sam's POV):
"It was NOT a paper cut! FYI it hurt VERY, VERY bad!", Spencer yells. "You're such a baby, look at you! You're starting to cry now!", Sasha jokes. "This has been so weird, yet so amusing. Hey why don't we talk about something else for the next 2 hours?", Freddie asks the others, tightening his grip on me. Just then, Liberty heads out of the room the kids are all sharing. "Daddy, why are you crying now?", she asks grabbing a bottle of water. "I'm not crying!!!!!!!!", he yells starting to cry. "Yeah lets talk about something else.", Gibby says. We all agree with him.
. . . . . . . .
"Mommy? Why aren't you talking to Aunt Sam and Uncle Freddie?", Kevin asks Carly. "What?! Who says I'm not?", she says getting all offended. "No one. You just were so excited to see them this morning and now you won't even go near them.", inquires Kassidy. Smart kids. I don't see how they are related to a Gibby though.
Chapter 6, Part 6: (Sam's POV):
Carly just glares at us. "Yeah, I'm so happy you kids all turned out to be so successful. It really makes my heart tingle and I just feel so special knowing that I knew you when, and that I practically raised you from little children.", Spencer says, his voice cracking, beginning to get all emotional and starting to cry. "Oh stop crying Spencer. I swear this guy gets emotional all the time. I asked Liberty to get the mail for me the other day and he started crying because 'she's getting so big'. I wanna see who he's gonna be when she grows up and moves out of the apartment.", Sasha says. "In all fairness, I just happened to cut my finger on one of my sculptures I had been working on just 2 hours before that.", Spencer snaps back. Sasha rolls her eyes. We all laugh, except Carly. "See Spencer her point is that you're so emotional, that you cry for 2 hours just for giving yourself a paper cut.",I say laughing.
Chapter 6, Part 5: (Sam's POV):
why don't we just hang here for a couple of hours and then we can all go out to dinner?", I say. "Sure, good idea.", Spencer says. "So how's work Sam?", Gibby asks. "It's been good, kinda stressful lately though.", I reply. "Cool, I watch your show every day. You sure do know how to make a Gibby tick tock with with your food recipes if you know what I mean.", Gibby replies. "Yeah some things never change.", I reply. "Gibby no one understands you.", Spencer says all irritated like. Gibby just shrugs. We all know he's used to it. "So how about you Freddie, how's work?", Gibby asks. "It's great. I just finished filming the new movie in the 'Moonlight Twiblood' series. And, after vacation, I'm starting on this new horror movie." "We're so proud of our Emmy winner here.", I said smiling, gently jabbing him in his chest. He grins. "I'm not the only one who's won Emmy's. Your show has too sweetie.", he says wrapping an arm around my waist.
Chapter 6, Part 4: (Freddie POV):
That's one thing that changed when we had kids, she somehow learned to tolerate people better. And I know what you're thinking right now. 'Sam, tolerating people? Yeah right.' Well this is actually true. I could sense it becoming harder for her as she's trying to focus on what Sasha is suggesting the fun activities that we can all do this week, so I interject. "That sounds great Sasha. Why don't we all go pick our rooms then we can let the kids decide what to do today?" We all go pick our rooms.
. . . . . . . .
We all head back to the kitchen. "So, what are we all gonna do today?", Spencer asks all the adults. "I don't know, our vacation doesn't officially start until tomorrow. Today we were just supposed to all meet, drive up here, catch up with each other, and maybe get all unpacked.", Sasha says. "Yeah I mean the kids all seem pretty settled already and they're all seeming to be getting along real well,
Chapter 6, Part 3: (Freddie POV):
. . . . . . . .
"I call the room with the water bed!", yells Jathan. "No me!", says Maybelle. "I should get the room! I'm the oldest!", yells Liberty. "Liberty come on. You guys don't have to fight over the room. You'll all have much more fun sharing it! Now go have fun you crazy kids! Go check out the rest of the house!", says Spencer. "Yay!!", all of the kids yell running off. "Be careful!", Sam says showing her motherly protection. As the kids run off to the other parts of the house, an awkward silence fills the room. "So . . . . . . . . ", Sasha says trying to enlighten the mood of the room. "Why don't we all go pick our rooms and then we can all go figure out what we can do for fun this week.", Sasha says while trying to ignore the glare that Carly was currently giving Sam. I know that Sam knew what Carly was doing, but she was ignoring her.
Chapter 6, Part 2: (Freddie POV):
"You sure you guys don't mind Carly seeing you with us? She made it pretty clear that she basically hate us.", I add. "Nah Freddo. I know my baby sister. She's just letting off some steam. She doesn't really hate you. Not after all those years of friendship. Just give her time.", Spencer says. "Okay I'm fine with that, I just don't want to ruin this week for Sam. She's been really stressed out with work lately and I just wanted her to get a break from it all.", I say. Just then, Sam walks by carrying Maybelle in her arms. "Come on guys! Mama's hungry!", she yells at us, playfully slapping Spencer on the back. "But baby you just ate.", I protested to my wife. She rolls her eyes. "Yeah point out the obvious.", she says. "All right let's go inside.", I say grabbing all of the bags.
Chapter 6, Part 1: (Freddie POV):
As we drove to the camp, I thought about what could happen this week. I hoped that everything would all go well, but seeing how Carly has reacted to finding out about Sam and I , I didn't think it would. The kids don't know anything about the conflict between Sam and Carly, so they're all excited, talking about this week. Sam's not talking about it either. She's just texting one of her coworkers about what to discuss this week on their cooking show while she's gone.
15 Minutes Later:
We arrive at the camp about 15 minutes later. "Okay guys, we're here.", I say nervously. Sam looks up from her phone long enough to catch my glance. "Well go get the bags Fredifer.", she says causing the kids to get even more hyper. I get out of the car and head to the trunk. "Hey Freddie, need some help?", Spencer asks nodding over to my suitcase filled trunk. "Sure thanks,", I say as I begin to unload the bags on the ground.
Happy November guys! We're getting really close to the holiday season! Yay! I am so, so, so, so, so, infinite so's, sorry for not updating yet. I know that you guys want me to update but I've been really busy with the holidays already. I volunteered most of the day last Saturday at a haunted house, and then at my church on Sunday. Tomorrow, I'm volunteering at an elementary school fair the whole day and again at my church on Sunday, but I will try to finish writing the next chapter during my breaks! Thanks for reading! Hope you all had a WONDERFUL, safe, fun-filled, candy-filled Halloween.
~samrocks17~. A.K.A. BUSY! lol
Thanks so much for all of the great reviews guys! It really makes me feel happy that so many of you want this story to be continued. I actually was going to try to update last weekend, but I had 4 projects, which all HAD to be do this week. Lol. (You an thank all of my teachers for that). However, I am done with them now and all I have now is to study for a test on Friday, so I'm going to try to write it now. I should post it later. But, I'm not sure if Valinsia wants to keep writing this as well and that was also another reason that I postponed writing the next chapter. I'll have to see. Thanks for waiting for me. Lol.
