I like 'em both, but I think Sam is a better example.
"What??" I hear some of you say. How can an abrasive, rough and tumble girl be a better example than a sweet girl like Carly?
Easy. Sam has a stronger backbone and has overcome so much.
Sam has faced life without a loving family: her father abandoned her. Her sister left her behind. And her mother... well, her mother was more a BAD influence than a good one. Face it, Pam Puckett, Sam's mom, essentially forced little Sam to raise herself.
And yet, Sam found a way to enjoy life. Sam did more than survive; she THRIVED. Sam did not mope and whine about her disadvantages. Sam made the most of it.
Sam learned how to survive a tough background, and she appreciated what little she had.
Sam was not boy crazy. She never defined herself in terms of cute guys, and Sam never felt incomplete without a guy bu her side. In contrast, Carly was the epitome of a boy crazed girl.
