Ok, 'member that I had posted something called "Two Family Renunions?? Well, I'm kinda re-posting that. But it's gonna be different, let me tell you.
Here is...FIRST PART. He's my friend.
Chapter One: Secret Revealed
It was six thirty, and Po was hungry.
He trudged lazily towards the kitchen, rubbing his eyes and yawning.
He heard the slight patter of feet and turned around to face Monkey.
"What are you doing?" he asked. Po responded with a loud yawn.
"Just...getting something...to eat." he drawled. Monkey sighed.
"Po, every ten minutes you eat something! I've even seen you sleep-
eating! Every ten minutes each night!"
Po yawned again.
"You need to go back to sleep," Monkey snickered.
"No...Must eat..." Po snored. Monkey half-lead, half-dragged him to
his room.
Then suddenly, as Monkey dropped Po on his mattress, a loud BANG!!!
exploded in the air.
Po sat bolt upright. Monkey whistled through his teeth.
"It's happening." he whispered.
"What on earth," Po said nervously "was that?"
"Tigress," responded Monkey "That's what."
Po and Monkey looked out the window. There she was. And now Po could
see what had happened. An ironwood tree had been literally chopped in
half, and it had fallen on top of a gong. Tigress was looking down the
hill, clenching and unclenching her hand. Po spotted a small scarlet
spot the front of her paw.
"Eww." Monkey whispered "She's bleeding."
"That was...AWESOME!!!" Po squealed.
"You're happy because she hurt herself?"
"What? No, no! Just what she did with that tree!"
Po stared back, eyes wide. Monkey rolled his eyes.
Tigress was punching another ironwood tree. Peices of bark flew
everywhere.
"Why does she do that?" Po asked, his wondering green eyes on Tigress.
TBC
She couldn't hear it, but she could feel it. Pulsing deep through her.
"Tigress," It whispered softly. Then louder; "Tigress." Tugging her back, away from the absolute empty blackness.
The female tigress couldn't see or hear anything. Nothing wrapped her in a smothering hug. All she listened to was her heartbeat drumming repeatedly.
"Get up, Tigress," The voice came again, stronger and deeper. "Tigress, come on, you can do it...Please..."
The voice could actually be heard now, and a bright light penatrated through Tigress's closed eyelids. Sense and conciousness were spilling back to her brain. She was on cold, smooth stone, flat on her back. Her shoulder hurt, and her breathing was painful, fire coursing through her throat and making her head throb.
Amber eyes fluttered open and locked on jade.
"Po?" Tigress' s voice was hoarse. "What happened?"
She could say no more as the panda embraced her into a gentle bear hug, lifting the upper-half of her up.
"You're alive! I was so worrried!"
Tigress bit back her tongue to not scream. Hugs hurt.
"Po--" she strained out. "Please let go, you're...hurting...me," She hated to admit it openly, but it felt like the embrace was squeezing the life out of her.
"Oh! I'm so sorry! Sorrysorrysorrysorry...." Po exclaimed, letting her go cautiously.
"It's alright," Tigress lied, propping herself up on her elbows then falling back to the floor, slitting her eyes in anguish. "Ow..." she muttered miserably. Everything hurt, to talk, to sit up, to breathe, to think...anything.
"Need help?"
"No." The answer was strict. Tigress, gritting her teeth and feeling like every bone in her body was breaking, somehow made it up halfway...then crash-landed again.
"Yeah, I need help." She admitted in embarrassment. Invisible claws tore mercilessly at the feline's sore stomach at the slightest movement, or so it felt like.
Po quickly, carefully, pulled his friend up. Tigress thanked him quietly, then asked, "Po, what happened to your nose?"
"Uh, a mean Morgulin tore it up," he said gloomily. His snout was still bleeding slightly, and claw marks raked across his black nose like neat scratches of red ink on black leather. "Same story with your arm, I suppose?"
Tigress didn't even want to look at her wound. "Yes." she responded firmly.
Silence.
Tigress took a few minutes to look at her ominous surroundings; no windows, black marble for the floor and walls, the ceilings were of intricate patterns of rich purple and gold. Other than a coarse-looking red oval rug in the middle of the room and a worn wooden table, forlorn in a corner, the giant, hollow expanse was empty. The roof was shadowed, the building was so tall.
A slight scraping, clinking sound of rusty bolts being slid back rang fainty, muffled, in the room. Then the tall, gray doors creacked opened, and the room was empty no more as another tiger entered the room, followed by a sturdy gray wolf with a dark brown bird of prey perching on his shoulder.
Tigress squinted at the tiger, and her eyes widened in shock.
Wow. Has it been 2 months since I last commented on this? Wow. I have got to post more. Anyway, the story is amazing! *gasp* B-B-BLA-BLACK WIZARD!?!?! And Tigress and Po captured!? *screams* Man, this is good.
Post soon!
Sorry, at end of the last part it was supposed to say, 'The last thing she heard was a scream'...
Chapter Twenty-Six: Turn for the Worst
Luca frowned, then smiled, then gaped, then face-pawed, and grinned ear-to-ear in a motherly way.
She and the two converted Morgulins were right now in one of the royal bedroom chambers, and both the mink and bear had thoroughly enjoyed their treatment (as much candy they could stuff in themselves and the liberty to make all sorts of messes without getting into trouble).
"So what you're saying, Arge--I mean, Grante, is that you were being controlled by Morgul, the guy who turned you into Morgulins in the first place?"
The bear swayed his head up and down seriously. "Uh-huh."
Luca had so many questions whirling in her head, she had to ask a couple to keep from bursting.
"How?" She gasped out.
Grante squinted. "Uh--umm..."
"It's a magical black ring!" Zuria said, popping out from under the bed covers. "He puts it in fwont of him, and when you loowk at it you get all--" And then she demanstrated by doing a dramatic twist in the air, stumbling to the mattress, moaning and gasping and wriggling, then flopping to the bed on her face.
"Lwike thwat." Came her giggly, muffled response. Then she jumped up, crossing her eyes, fur bristling and arms out in front of her. For extra effect, she stuck out her tongue to one side.
"Woooo! I'm a stuwpid Morgulin, and I nevew take bwaths!" she cackled, then fell back down on the bed in a bundle of shaking white fur, erupting with laughter.
Luca laughed too, rolling her eyes. "You know, Zuria, you remind me so much of Flora when she was a cub."
Zuria looked up in confusion. "Who Flora?"
"Ah, my youngest daughter." Luca responded dismissively. "I have another question, if I may--"
Suddenly, the oak door slammed open with a terrific bang. It was sheer fortune that the walls didn't crack from the force.
"Queen Luca!" It was Binjo, his misty blue eyes narrowed aggresively and one hand clutching his white staff. Beside him skittered in Shifu, with his robe tattered but looking just as dangerous.
"What is it, what's wrong?" Luca inquired calmly, placing one paw over the handle of her sword.
"The Dragon Warrior and Master Tigress have been captured!"
Luca nodded in stunned silence. "By who? How do you know?"
"Nevermind that--but Morgul is behind this, I know it." Binjo growled.
Zuria peeked out from behind Luca, wild-eyed with terror. "M-m-mor--"
"Morgul?!?" Grante finished. He stuck his thumb in his mouth, grabbed Luca's paw and pressed tight against her side, so that the white tigress could feel him shaking in fear.
"That is not all, Your Highness," Shifu began hesitantly, a frown forming sadly on his face. "King Rooper has been taken hostage by the Black Wizard as well."
Sorry for the delay....I posted it but it never showed up. Thanks for the comments!
Tigress didn't have time to think as Coal launched herself at her, claws fully outstretched. The South Chinese tigress growled and ducked, and the Morgulin sail overhead, at the last moment deciding to slam her hind feet into Tigress' s face.
Wincing slightly in pain, Tigress grabbed the black snow leopard's left foot and brought her back to earth, but Coal twisted last-minuted and dug her sharp black claws into her opponent's belly, wetting her vest a bit with dark red liquid, and flipped the tiger to the air. Quickly, Tigress pulled free and then flipped back to standing position, scowling at Coal, who had sprung aside and was beckoning the striped feline to fight.
Snarling, the Kung Fu Master made the first attack, a spinning kick, which struck Coal hard. She doubled over slightly but quickly counterattacked, feinting to the right. Tigress saw this and blocked her real attack, a Palm Strike to her chest, and with Coal's one paw in hand, she managed to do a triple kick before letting go.
The Morgulin shuddered in pain and grabbed her stomach, and Tigress, snatching her chance, swiped her legs under Coal's feet. The result was satisfactory; she tripped, laying there motionless. Tigress leaned forward cautiously to inspect her, when, quicker than lightning, the black feline sprang up and dug her claws excruciatingly deep into her opponent's shoulder; the same that she had injured at sea.
Tigress let slip a small groan, and tried to get the cat off her shoulder. Claw marks scored deep into her arm, but the striped feline at last managed to tear lose. Red stained orange and black in an interesting jigsaw pattern. Though weak, Tigress's tail lashed back and forth angrily, eyes into blazing amber slits--this wasn't over yet.
The two cats battled long and hard, switching astounding punches and kicks, a match that had no winner or loser. Red eyes glinted madly and amber burned furiously.
Finally, Tigress decided to end the battle once and for all. She crouched low and sprang into the sky, eyes closed, then opened both palms and shot out a blast of fiery light.
To her shock, Coal countered it with a bolt of black shadow that streaked towards the fire, and both elements fizzed then were ingulfed into nothingness.
"Bu-but...how can you know the Shadow Blast of Power?" Tigress gaped, landing nimbly on the ground. "It's the most difficult of the Three Unacheivable Element Attacks!"
Coal looked at her in confusion, cocking her head. Then a weird thing happened.
Her eyes clouded over to a dark, dead gray and her whole body jittered, like as if she was a robot and something had gone wrong.
"Go away," she hissed suddenly, stumbling to her knees, and curling herself into a tight ball. "Go away, Morgul!" the she-cat moaned.
Now Tigress could hear the voice, shaep and clear and sickening, filling her with dread.
"Never, "
Three shadowy figures, the second-biggest leaning against the smallest and the tallest strutting in front condensed out of an ebony ally. Searing pain flashed through the feline's body, and she crumpled to the ground against the clearing, the metallic scent of blood nearly overwhelming. A booming flash of darkness filled all senses, and Tigress shielded her eyes.
Tigress and Zain walked on down the cobbled street; it was entrancing the way the smooth marble stones fit into a perfect jigsaw of a path, cold under the tigers' feet.
Zain suddenly stopped short, and turned around to face Tigress. "Wait here, I'll be back." With a flick of his tail, the pantherine turned into an alley and disappeared. Tigress waited patiently, crossing her arms and cocking her head.
But after about five minutes, a low chuckle crackled from behind a stone bench. Tigress whipped around, pupils deflated, danger tangible in the air. The small plaza was deserted, except for the silent breeze swishing through, whispering of peril. The feline glanced around warily, fur along her spine pricking. Her paws ached with the longing of battle.
"Zain? Is that you?" Tigress called boldly.
The slight drawing of a weapon from a sheath scraped in the air. Tigress frowned and turned around a half circle, then had only two seconds for her eyes to widen in shock as some kind of metal boomering sliced through the air straight at her. The South Chinese tigress let out a menacing growl as she ducked, and for a response the village echoed with a haunted cackle. Tigress froze.
The boomering whizzed back to it's owner; a black and grey paw, soon melting out to reveal a black snow-leopardess. Her scarlet eyes were fixed on Tigress, and a nasty sneer curled up her face.
"Scared, little kitty?" She hissed.
Tigress snarled. "No, Morgulin."
"Well," Coal laughed back. "You will be."
~oOo~
Storm was quicker than Po expected, even though she was already nimble. She darted in and out expertly, flashing out kicks and punches endlessy. Po deflected them, but had no time in between to land some blows of his own.
He managed to fit in a kick that sent Storm staggering back, but she recovered rapidly and bared her teeth, racing up again, but Po was ready and stepped aside at the last moment. The panda suddenly spotted the only vunerable part he could use to win; the feline's tail.
He made a lunge for it and grasped it, then pulled it towards himself. The black leopard squealed and flopped to the ground helplessly, clutching with unsheathed claws at thin air. Then she twisted around to aim a kick, fast as lightning, but Po used the trick he had used on Tai Lung and wrapped her own tail around Storm's leg and hefted her down again. She spat out indecipherably, hair spiking in rage, before crouching on all fours and springing into the sky with such force Po had to let go.
Storm snarled as she rocketed down, flipping in the air and then bringing her foot down on top of Po's head...almost. He grabbed it in both paws, but the black she-cat narrowed her red eyes and then drove her fist under her leg and slammed it into the Dragon Warrior's nose. It was his turn to squeal.
The bear groaned and crossed his eyes trying to goggle at his injured snout, holding it cautiously. The Morgulin smiled viciously as the panda looked up with fierce, angry green eyes....where had Storm gone?
Po only then realized that the key to winning is to never get distracted as something firm banged into his head and he crumpled to the floor. Blackness covered everything like a sheet and then the world switched off to darkness.
AHHH! NOOO!!!!! Ohhh, FIGHT SCENE!!!! I can NOT wait to see what happens! I sure hope Po helps her! SHE CAN'T STAY LIKE THAT!!!! Man, can NOT wait for more!
Here's the rest of the chappie! I'll respond to your comments as soon as I can! :)
~oOo~
Po shifted uneasily from one foot to the other, gazing around the clearing where Tigress was supposed to be. The only evidence of her being here was the tell-tell outline of a fist etched into the oak tree towering over the panda. The shadowy forest was silent except for the rustle of leaves above Po, making dark patterns cross around the ground.
"Tigress?" he called out again nervously, only for his worried voice to echo across the clearing in response.
Ti-gress, gressss?
Po muttered incoherently, scratching the back of his neck. And then his head jerked up, emerald green eyes wide with alarm, a chill sweeping up his spine. Danger was here. He could feel it coursing through his bones, making his heart quicken and breathing labor. Something bad was going to happen...something really, really bad....
A snarl sounded behind him, and the ursine whipped around clumsily, raising an ebony fist to his face and placing one foot behind the other in a Kung-Fu pose. Blood-red eyes pierced through the braken as a black-furred female clouded leopard stepped out of the thorny brambles, her lips pulled back and fangs bared.
"Who are you, Morgulin? " Po demanded with as much menace as he could muster.
"I am Storm..." the she-cat growled. "Now that we got the casualties out of the way, prepare to die."
