Chapter 1
A cart sped down the steep and rocky road of Hong Luan City. People jumped out of the way from the on the loose cart. The wheels on it wobbled now. It made a sharp turn and crashed through a cabbage stand and into an alley. It slammed into the walls of the narrow alley and the pegs that kept the wheels on the cart started to come loose.
White-tail Chun and his wife Ginger Chun walked away from the food stand with groceries. White-tail stopped and his eyes grew wide once he saw a cart coming their way. He stepped in front of Ginger, wanting to protect her and was going to face the cart head on!
Then the cart was coming at full speed towards the two. Then, suddenly the wheels popped off the cart and the cart slid on the rocky pavement and stopped in front of White-tail.
He looked inside the large cart and his eyes narrowed, his ears were flat down, and he felt some anger surge through him. "Silvermist!" he growled.
She slowly looked out from the cart that was big enough for her to fit in and sheepishly smiled. "Hi, Dad," she said nervously.
Thank you.
I'm still trying to work out things. The next part to be exact. I need to work on detail on my stories to make it really good like yours, Rtfacts, T16, Syrup240, etc.
And then there's the wedding. I'm not very good with romance.
~*Batskee*~
Silvermist: Crying? Batskee cries.
Me: No. I don't.
Silvermist: Alright then....Master Kainen and Travis cries.
Travis: No, I don't.
Master Kainen: I don't either!
Me: Silvermist has a temper.
Silvermist: I do not!
Me: *pokes her multiple times*
Silvermist: KNOCK IT OFF! *tackles me*
Me: Don't cry Delgado. Master Kainen would probably start crying too.
Master Kainen: I would not!
Me: Yeah. You would.
Master Kainen: I am a kung fu master!
Me: Who can be quite a softy.
Travis: And party animal.
@Syrup240:
Me: Thank you for thinking it was good.
Ruby: It's alright, Skye. I've done that before. I completely forgot that I signed my name on the note.
Zenghui: Not the smartest thing you've ever done, Ruby.
Ruby: I know. But it isn't the dumbest either.
Zenghui: True. True.
Me: you call THAT Writer's Block?
Skye: Yeah, Syrup's is so bad that she posts two sentences and that's her next chapter!
Me: Is not!
Skye: *pulls up sample* The cat is a cat. Did I mention it's a cat?
Me: WHAT??? You wrote that! See, it's signed 'Skye and Han Kai'.
Skye: .....
Finally! Another chapter! Omg! Poor Kai! Hope he'll be okay!
Delgado: Poor Kai. *whimpers*
Me: Are you crying?
Delgado: *sniff* No! Of course not!
Me: Awww. Wittle Welgado is a wittle cry waby!
Delgado: Am not!
Me: Tell that to your watery eyes!
Delgado: That's it, you little brat! *fights me*
Me: You got anger issues, man!
Great chapter! This sure is an awesome story! But not as awesome as mine. LOL JK JK. Anyway keep up the good work!
@Everyone
Augh! Curse you Writer's Block!
So sorry everyone about not posting for a long time. I have no idea what to write. I've been REALLY wanting to write something but nothing is coming.
*sigh* I'm not sure how this part is, but I'll just have to wing it.
Silvermist leaned against cave's wall. Her silver eyes stared down at the floor, her arms crossed, and her thoughts entirely on Kai.
Travis was still catching his breath and so was Master Kainen. They had ran to get the doctor with Silverfang, Wolfy, and White-tail. Everyone else stayed with Silvermist and Kai.
Travis looked over at the rooms. The doctor was still in the room checking up on Kai. He nervously went over towards Silvermist. He didn't know what to say to comfort her. He now felt extremely guilty about being jealous of Kai and being so mean to him.
"Maybe it's my fault," she said in a quiet voice.
Travis looked at her and said, "Silvermist, it's not your fault."
"I was so selfish," she continued. It was as if she completely ignored his words.
"Silvermist, are you listening to me?" he asked sternly.
"I was so concerned about myself getting out of that dungeon. I forgot about Kai. He was my best friend for crying out loud."
Before he could try and snap her out of her depression, the doctor came out of the room.
"Is he okay?" Silvermist asked immediately.
"He's...he's...not getting any better," the doctor admitted. He seemed to have trouble telling the news. Anyone would have trouble.
"Is there anything we can do?" asked Silverfang.
"I'm afraid not. I haven't dealt with anything like this in my whole career." Great, Silvermist thought glumly. My friend is pretty much dying and we have to get a doctor that doesn't know anything.
"All I can say is to let him rest," the doctor said looking at them all. "I will do my best to find some medication for him."
They were all silent. Silvermist went in to see the mountain lion. Travis turned to his friends. "Even though he did betray us, I feel guilty for hating him."
"Okay, so it's not just me," Snowcrest agreed.
"I wish there was something we could do," Silverfang said.
Master Kainen stood up straight, straightened his back, and went out the door. Travis knew that Master Kainen was probably the one who disliked Kai the most after what Kai did.
He was about to go and try to convince Master Kainen to forgive Kai, but Silvermist came out of the room. "He's sleeping. He's...breathing pretty roughly and...he has a high fever."
Travis turned back to Silvermist to comfort her. He looked back towards the door that was slammed shut by his father and hoped he wouldn't hold his grudge.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked it! Heh-heh, I loved the bunny as well. He was so close!
Maybe in another story. I'm thinking of some new ones so that might be an option. (If you want to enter Delgado in one)
And also, tell your sister I said thank you.
@Batskee
Wow. I have no words. That...was....so....EPIC! ok, ok. I have so many things to say! Ok, let's start. I finished the story and I really love it! It took some time. Ok, a LOT of time. My favorite part was when the bunny tried to beat the lost record and the wish made him go back to the lodge! "NOO!" haha! That was so funny and later Snowcrest responded to the others, "nothing...I felt...a distrubance." (sorry if i'm not that accurate) Hilarious! Oh! And I hope Kai will be okay, even if he did betray him. Great story! Man, I wish i signed up ealier as a member so Delgado could be part of the story.(Maybe I should ask Tyro. LOL) It sounds like it's going to end soon. Keep it up! Your an awesome writer!
Your new fan and friend,
~Tigress714
P.S. My sister got grounded and can't go in the computer. She wanted me to tell you that she just loves your story too! Anyway, bye!
Well, it's good to have ya back! I haven't posted a chapter in so long...until now!
The cave was as it usually was. Cold, yet comfortable. The light was dim, yet it still felt perfectly fine. And a few confetti pieces here and there.
Master Kainen usually picked them up whenever he noticed them and hoped no one would notice; but they always did and smiled.
Kai felt a little out of breath, but didn't want to show it. He didn't want his friends to see him like that. If they still are my friends, he thought.
He glanced over at his 'friends'. Darkmist and her friends were wondering where to travel next; they were going to head off soon. Mei and Chou were standing on their friends' shoulder, joining into their conversations. Snowcrest was telling Snowstar about snowboarding while at the ski lodge. Lou, wagging his tail and his tongue hanging out, was being held in Wolfy's arms.
Silverfang was telling Wolfy more about Tyro and the wishes they had all made.
Master Kainen had already started making food for everyone. Ginger was talking to Silvermist about the wedding and some ideas. Then there were the last two wolves. White-tail and Travis kept some distance apart, but at the same time talked. Their conversation didn't consist much more than, "Good fight," or "You're a very good fighter too."
Kai then felt the pain again. Silvermist looked at him and began walking his way. "Kai?"
Kai smiled his best and said, "Hey Misty. What's wrong?"
"I think I should be asking you that question," the she-wolf replied, crossing her arms.
"I don't know what you're talking about, Misty. I just need to rest," Kai said plainly.
Master Kainen came over with a plate of dumplings and tofu. "Master Kainen," Kai said taking a step forward. The polar bear was silent. Kai thought that he might be a little skeptical about him since he betrayed them.
He remembered what he had done. Strike that. He's very skeptical about me, Kai thought.
"Yes?" Master Kainen replied.
"Do you have a place for me to sit down and rest?" the mountain lion asked.
Master Kainen looked over at the area where his and Travis' room were. "Yes. You may sleep in my room. It's the room farthest over there," the polar bear gestured with his free paw towards the top left corner of the cave.
Kai was a little surprised Master Kainen let him take that room. But he didn't want to question it. He was feeling pretty weak and needed to rest.
Silvermist watched him walk over to the rooms. Something seemed wrong. "Travis," she began. She looked over her shoulder and saw that Travis and her father were standing mere inches from each other. Neither were looking at each other and were speaking with only a few words.
"Are you hungry?" White-tail asked, looking straight ahead, his arms crossed.
Travis, doing the exact same, replied, "Yes. I am. Are you?"
Silvermist sighed. "Will you two just talk to each other like normal people?"
"Why? We have nothing to say to each other," White-tail said.
"We're just trying to do it," Travis added.
Ginger interrupted, "Well, here's something you two can talk about. Master Kainen's food. Start eating it."
The two exchanged a look and did as they were told.
___
Silvermist stared down at the empty plate. She didn't eat much. She was mainly concerned about Kai. She kept looking over at the rooms.
She got up and walked over to Master Kainen's room. She opened the door slightly and called out quietly, "Kai? Kai are you awake?"
She opened the door fully and her eyes were wide. Kai had collapsed on the floor and was unconscious. She rushed to his side. He was breathing slowly and his pulse was slow as well.
"Someone get help! Quick! Kai's hurt!" Silvermist cried out.
She looked at her best friend. What he had done before didn't matter now. All she wanted was for him to be okay.
Wow, I've been off Nick for WAY to long! That was AWESOME! Poor Kai, I REALLY hope he's okay! I'm worried, he's getting worse, not better! they HAVE to find a cure for him and fast! PLEASE write more soon!!!!
Thank you for doing so. You know, the whole 'SAVING!!!' thing.
Anyways, I shall continue the story. Sorry it's been so long:
The group started heading back towards Master Kainen's cave. The polar bear wondered how he would get everyone in the cave.
"You can fit almost forty animals in that cave when throwing a party, Dad. We'll be fine," Travis commented.
Master Kainen just shrugged, "I suppose so."
The wolf rolled his eyes but smiled. He looked over at Silvermist who was talking with Ginger, Snowcrest, Snowstar, Mei, and Darkmist.
Travis glanced over at the back of the group. Kai was trudging behind. He held his stomach with his paw and seemed to be looking tired.
Travis still had mixed feelings about Kai. Kai was Silvermist's best friend, yet they betrayed them. But also, he used his wish to send his parents away, when he could've used it for himself.
Travis' thoughts distracted him and he bumped into Master Kainen who had stopped in his tracks. Travis just looked at his master and father and asked, "What's wrong?"
Master Kainen was silent. Then they all heard something growling. "What was that?" asked Yippy.
Mei just said, "It wasn't me."
"It wasn't me either," Silverfang added.
They all looked at Travis. "Well don't look at me," he said plainly. "I didn't growl."
Then their faces turned to the furry, snow white bear in front of the group who was silent. Master Kainen rubbed his stomach and said, "I believe it's time for us to eat."
"I forgot that we haven't eaten anything in a long while," said White-tail.
"I'll fix us something when we get to the cave," Ginger told them. They erupted in a cheer. And after that, followeed their own stomachs growling.
"Let's hurry," said Darkmist.
They all started to pick up their pace in the snow, except for Silvermist, Travis, and Kai. Travis put his arm around Silvermist, but she just looked back at Kai who instead of going faster, was going slower by the minute.
The she-wolf felt bad for her friend. Something held her back. A small part of her didn't want anything to do with him since he betrayed them. But, despite that small side, she decided to go over to him anyway.
Silvermist walked over to the mountain-lion. "Kai? Are you okay?" she asked softly.
Kai looked up at her slightly. Silvermist looked into his eyes. She could just sense that he was in pain. "I'm alright," he said quietly.
She watched as he tried to straight up more and smiled as best he could. He walked somewhat confidently with her over to Travis and said, "So, what's your mom cooking?"
"I don't know," she said, staring at him. She couldn't help but look at him. He was lying. He wasn't feeling okay. She knew him too well.
"Kai, when we get home, you're sitting down and taking a rest."
Kai just shook his head no. "I don't take naps," he said walking past her.
"I don't like naps either, but you need it," Silvermist told him firmly.
As Kai was about to argue with her, Travis just added, "Unless you want to have to fight with her, you should listen."
Kai looked down at the snow and thought for a moment. He couldn't possibly put up a fight at this moment. He just sighed and replied, "I guess you're right. Let's go."
And with that, he walked towards Master Kainen's cave. Travis and Silvermist just exchanged a look. Travis was skeptical about him now as well. "I better keep an eye on him," Silvermist said.
Silvermist: You got her in a butler outfit? *looks at Travis and Me* Heh-heh-heh!
Me & Travis: Uh-oh.
Ruby: Jailbreak?! Oh no! That's terrible!
Zenghui: It sure is.
Ruby: Wait for me! *runs out of room, still tied to chair*
Zenghui: Hey! Ruby! Get back here! You're still grounded!
Skye: *at store* Oooh, push the cart down here, Syrup!!
Me: *in butler outfit* How did you manage to put this on me again?
Han Kai: You really want to know the answer to that?
Skye: Push the cart ova' here, butler!
Me: *willingly pushing cart* Grrrrr...
Han Kai: Hiyas!
Random Lady: *screams and runs*
Me: I guess bringing animals here wasn't a good idea...
Skye: *has six calendars in hands, stuffs them into cart*
Me: Why do you need six Nyan Cat calendars?
Skye: So I can figure out when the jailbreak will happen!
Me: A JAILBREAK??! WHAT JAIL?
Random Guy: AAHHH!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!! A JAILBREAK IS HAPPENING!!
Silvermist: Thank you for the lovely compliment Blaze.
Me: See? Everyone agrees you were jealous. So you obviously must've been...
Travis: Oh just be quiet, Batskee!
