Oh yeah, I totally understand. That's what was keeping me from posting the next chapter. But I will now!

@balah

Oh yeah. I have to be a kung fu master to do that. I forgot, LOL. I agree, maybe it's because they're busy or sick or something. Next chapter is posted today(finally)!

CHAPTER 44***

Po woke up, yawning and stretching. He decided to check up on Tigress. He rolled over to see her and only saw a big long lump under the blanket. He assumed she was sleeping, so he decided to not disturb her. She needed her rest. Po came out of the tent and saw the others already awake. But what surprised him was that he saw Viper squeezing the breath out of Monkey and Mantis. Crane beside Viper also seemed to shocked.

"Viper, I think you should-" Po said but was cut off.

"They deserved it after what they done to Tigress." Viper said and threw them to the bamboo trees, making them half unconscious and fall to the ground. After giving them a glare, Viper turned to Po and asked, "Where's Tigress?"

"She's still sleeping. She must've had a long day." Po said.

"Yes. Maybe because you two were making out yesterday." Viper said, smirking.

"We did not! Tigress accidently fell on me, that's all!" Po said.

"Sure it was." Viper said, sarcastically and before she could continue, Crane interrupted.

"Hey, Po, can you make breakfast?" Crane asked, changing the subject.

"Sure, buddy." Po said, going to the food bag.

Po took out the ingredients for dumplings. He knew they all like that. The smell of Po's cooking woke Monkey and Mantis up and they went over, dazed. Viper hissed at the two and they immediately went to the other side of the fire, not wanting her around them. After Po finished cooking, he passed out the plates with the dumplings. He saved some for Tigress, knowing she'll wake up soon.

"Bon appeite! That's 'enjoy' in spanish." Po said.

The other looked at each other, knowing it was french, but didn't care after eating the dumplings. They were super good. After about an hour of talking and eating with each other, they finally thought of Tigress.

"Uh, Po? Don't you think Tigress should be up by now?" Viper asked.

After a moment of thinking, he said, "I guess I can wake her up."

He then got up and headed for the tent. Po got full, which was surprising to the others, and left some leftovers. While Po was walking away, Mantis walked over to it and dragged the plate slowly to his place. They were too good to ignore. Po got in and went over to Tigress.

He shoved her gently, smiled, and said, "Wakey wakey, tiger baby."

After no success, he gently pull the blanket off. The others heard a scream in the tent and quickly went over to him.

Viper opened the flaps and asked, "What's wrong?!"

Po responded, "Tigress is gone!"

"What?!" They responded.

"Look, I found a note!" Po said, showing the letter to them.

Viper grabbed it and read aloud,

Dear friends,
Do not worry, I am fine. I have decided to defeat Jeia on my own. I have it under control. I'm sorry for not assuring you before, but this is my fight. I will explain everything later. Please don't come for me. You all will get hurt and captured if you do. I don't want that to happen. Again, do not come. I'll come back soon.
Tigress

"Who's Jeia?" Monkey asked.

"Didn't she mention before in this village saying 'Jeia' instead of 'Zira' by mistake?" Crane asked.

"Maybe it wasn't a mistake." Mantis said.

"'This is my fight'?" Viper repeated, confused.

Po can't stand not letting the others know and blurted, "TIGRESS IS HIDING SOMETHING, OK?! FROM THE VERY BEGINNING!"

The others looked at him wide-eyed.

"But that doesn't matter now! We need to find her! She can get seriously hurt!" Po yelled.

"But it says-" Crane began but was cut off.

"I DONT CARE WHAT IT SAYS! I'M GOING TO FIND HER WITH OR WITHOUT YOU GUYS!" Po shouted and turned to leave.

The others stared in utter shock. Po never outbursts like that. They looked at each other and then to Po. They all went over side by side with him. Po looked at them. Then with a smile.

"No one left behind, Po." Viper said and the others agreed.

Po sighed and said, "Good. And sorry for yelling. Now, does any of you know where 'Zira' went after she took you all down a few days ago?" Po asked.

"She went towards the mountains." Viper stated.

"Then that's where Tigress would be too. Let's go!" Po said as he and the others ran off.

CHAPTER 43***

Tigress ran on all fours out of the bamboo forest and into the fields, the dark night shining. She needs to do this plan before sunrise. Tigress can tell that the night was going to end soon. She was determined to do this quickly and quietly. Finally she stopped in front of it. Dozens of meters away was Zira's hideout. Before going on, she digged a hole, placed her bag in it and covered it up again. She brought it with her because she can't risk the others finding it. After hiding it, she slowly creeped low to the ground towards the mountain, all senses on high alert. She needs to be careful, there are wolves nearby. She winced every time the grass made crunching sounds as she walked through it.

"Great." Tigress whispered, frustrated.

She feared the wolves would hear her as she came closer. Fortunately, she made it to the mountain without being spotted. She stood up in her hind legs again and held her paws out. Her claws outstretched as far as they could. Then, Tigress started getting a grip to the mountain and started climbing. She focused on being quiet, but it was hard since little rocks and snow keep falling.

"Please don't start an avalanche." Tigress whispered, practically begging the mountain.

A little came down, but nothing serious happened to attract attention. But the grip on her feet fell. She tried to get her feet back up, but the snow was slipping her off. Now her claws were her only chance. She reached for another spot to climb on but her claws in the mountain started to slip too. Worried, Tigress went to her orginal spot and held still. It wasn't working. Her claws were still dragging down the mountain, leaving a long claw mark on the mountain. She kept clawing on other spots of the mountain, trying to get another grip. No use. She was dragging down so quickly, she could fall at any moment. The rocks under her grip were loose. She needs a spot with rocks sticking together, hard enough for it not to separate when she climbs it. Then she found an opportunity of survival. She saw a branch sticking out of the mounatin nearby under her. It wasn't thick enough to support her weight, but she had no choice. She waited until she slipped next to it. When she was close enough, she gathered up her strength and jumped sideways to the right towards the branch. She grabbed it, making it break slightly, and pulled herself up. She gave a huge sigh. She was tired. But not done. The branch was breaking within every second of staying on it. She felt the right side of the mountain with her free paw and saw that this part of the mountain was good for climbing. Quickly, Tigress jumped off the branch as it broke and gripped the mountain with her claws. She didn't slip. Relieved, Tigress continued climbing, being extra careful now. Finally, she got to the top, lied down, and sighed with relief.

"This is why I didn't want you to come." Tigress said, looking back at the far away camp.

After a few seconds, she stood up and started her next phase, finding the entrance. She kneeled down and felt for the secret entrance door. Finally in some time, she found it. She wiped all the snow covering it and revealed a big wooden square door with a rope handle on the side. She opened it up and peeked her head in. It seemed dark and the only light was the moonlight shining through the secret entrance. There was no telling what will happen or what's inside since Delgado said nobody but Jeia went in there. But it's the only way Tigress can get in.

'Judgeing by the blueprint of the mountain,' Tigress remembered, 'it was around a dozen feet or so deep.'

It doesn't seem that bad. Tigress took her head out and put her legs through the hole. Then she held on the edge and slid her whole body through. She grabbed the door's rope handle with one paw and before closing it, she let go of the edge. The door closed with a thunk and the room was now completely dark. Tigress kept hanging on for a few seconds and then let go. In a few moments, she landed hard on the ground. She stood up and looked around for the door. Immediately, she saw it with faint lights shining through the edges. She went to it and opened it up slightly to peek out of it, but only saw the wall with torches hanging. Remembering the blueprint, to her left, was the stairs, leading to the main room for wolves. And to her right was a door leading into Jeia's room. Silently, Tigress closed the door and took the left. She went down and then scanned the room, careful not to be spotted. She knows that Jeia wasn't around, but the main room was filled with wolves. She will need another plan if she was gonna go to the weapons room without getting caught. That is the main part of the plan, to get the powerful weapons so Jeia can't hurt her friends. But what Tigress didn't know is that the most deadliest weapon was just in the secret room.

@Batskee

Thanks! I hope Tigress will be ok, too. Even though I already know what's going to happen to her. That's one advantage of being an Author, LOL.

Me: Delgado, you better help her!
Delgado: Why wouldn't I?

Enjoy next chappie!

@Balah

Hmmm, very good assumptions! Let's just see if you're right in later chapters. Yeah, ummm, how can I say this? The next fanfic is probably gonna be a few months after this fanfic is done, which still has a long way to go. If I'm lucky, I would finish the story in less than a month, but I do want to keep it long. Summer is coming up though. Well, let's just see in the future, shall we? Enjoy next chap!

I think Delgado would help her.

Silvermist: Of course Delgado would help her, Batskee. He's Tigress' friend from when they were still in the orphanage.

CHAPTER 42**

Tigress was sleeping next to the fire, warmth spreading through her body. She felt safe, like having no worries at all. Then she woke up from her peaceful sleep from the sound of a branch crack. Her eyes instantly open, sensing an intruder nearby. Quickly, she went to warn Po. But when she entered, he wasn't there. A bit worried, Tigress checked Viper's tent. She was gone too. Tigress panicked. She went to Crane's, Monkey's, and Mantis' tents. They were all gone too!

"What's happening!?" Tigress shouted.

"Your worst nightmare."

Tigress turned around for the source of the voice. It was Jeia! She saw her and the dozens of wolves behind her. Then what caught her sight was all her friends were tied up together next to her.

"Po!" Tigress shouted in surprise.

Po and the others just mumbled. Their mouths were covered in tape. Jeia motioned for the wolves to carry them and run.

"No!" Tigress yelled, running after them on all fours.

Tigress tried to get her friends back, but they were just getting farther ahead by the second. The trees didn't help. It made Jeia's escape easier and Tigress fall back a bit. Tigress tried all her might, running just as fast as a cheetah would, but to no avail. Then, they disappeared in the distance.

"NO! Po! Where are you, Po!?" Tigress yelled as she ran forward.

No answer. Finally she exited the forest and into a ...blank field? She stopped and stood up, looking around her. Everything was gone, even the forest she was just in. Nothing but a white field.

"Over here, kitty cat."

Tigress recognized that voice.

"Delgado!" Tigress shouted in joy.

Tigress turned around, ready to tell him what happened. But what she saw, took her happiness away. Delgado was standing next to her tied-up friends, along with Jeia on the other side. But what was shocking was that Delgado had a long sword in his paw, exactly like the ones Delgado gave her. He was giving her mischievous smile, as so was Jeia.

"What's going on, Delgado?" Tigress asked, confused.

"You shouldn't have trusted me. You should've known I was in Jeia's side." Delgado said, smiling evilly all the while.

Delgado looked to Jeia, who was still looking at Tigress. Tigress looked back to back from them. Finally, Jeia nodded to the wolf. What is he doing? Delgado lifted his sword up in the air and Tigress was hit with realization. She wanted to run and stop him, but her legs were just stuck to the ground. Tigress looked down and tried to pull her legs out of what's stopping her, but couldn't. Tigress looked up in worry as Delgado was ready to strike Po. Tigress could do nothing but watch in horror. Then suddenly, Po had a sword right through his stomach, blood spilling down.

"NOOO-" Tigress screamed.

"-OOO!" Tigress screamed.

Tigress panted and looked around frantically. She was back in the forest. She looked at herself. She was lying next to the fire. Then, Tigress thought it was a dream. To be sure, Tigress ran to Po's tent. She opened the tent flaps and sighed with relief. Po was sleeping, not a scratch on him. Though she wondered how he didn't hear her scream. Then, a loud thunder was heard from the sky. The thunder must have covered her scream. At least she didn't wake him up. Since it was going to rain, she went inside the tent. She stared at Po, she just couldn't stop thinking about him. Then, Tigress made her decision. She took the plan from her bag and started making changes. Finally, when it was done, she placed it back in the bag and looked outside. It stopped raining and it was late at night.

"There's still time." Tigress whispered.

She took her pillows and place it alined together across the mat she sleeps on. Then she covered it with her blanket all the way. This will buy her some time. Then she wrote a quick letter and left it under the blanket along with the pillows. She can't let Po get worried. Tigress went out of the tent with her bag. She then took out a bucket of black paint, which she bought earlier without the others, and got ready to pour it on her.

"Well, at least it will cover the purple berry stains." Tigress whispered.

She poured all the black paint on her so she will blend into the night, and no one can see her. She hid the bucket behind a bush and then started to run out. But she stopped at the edge of the campsight, looking back to the others.

"I'm sorry, Po. But I can't risk you getting hurt." Tigress whispered and then she ran off with her things, heading to the mountains.
