Hi! I'm clouded11, tigerfan48's and rtfact's sister, and her is my first KFP fanfiction. ENJOY!
Chapter One; Stealing
MIST
I reached for the gem with gleaming gray-blue eyes, a smirk on my beak. This was like any other day for me; I steal something, leave, and then in a week it's gone and I've got a pocketful of money again.
I send a furtive glance around, and then quickly snatch the green sapphire, sticking it secretly into my pouch. With a quit flap of my black wings I shoot towards the sky, my wings making lines of white trail where I had been. I can see the villagers milling around the town, not knowing a thing. With my sharp eyesight I spot the master of the house, a wolf, comes out fuming and seething. He looks around the cloudy sky and shakes his fist at me, even though he can't spot me. I smile broadly and then pummel down to the ground, and then bank at the last possible moment, landing just outside the valley.
A white tigress is waiting for me, her crimson eyes smiling.
?That was quick, Mist.? she comments, chuckling slightly.
?Yeah, you could say that.? I snicker. ?The guy didn't know what was coming to him.?
I hand over the pouch and she empties the possession onto her hand, her eyes glimmering with the reflection of the gem.
?How much would you say, Kimona?? I ask, hobbling over to her.
?At least a good 100 yen.? she says, stuffing it back into the pouch and sliding the strap over her shoulder.
?Good.? I nod.
?We split: 75/25.? She says.
?I did all the work.?
?I made the plan, and I do the trading.?
?Fifty/fifty, then.?
?Deal.?
The negotiation over, both of us began trekking towards the city of Shan-Gon, were the black market gives us plenty for trading, and a full belly as well.
I look back over my shoulder to see the dawn giving way to a bright, sunny morning.
So, please tell me how I did! This is my first fic, and I would like some comments!
Right now, clouded11 isn't able to go on the computer, so I'm posting this chap for her! :D She says thank you to all who kept this story up and running!
KIMONA
Shiny and round and black. Perfect little ebony marbles settled impeccably on top of each other, glistening brightly so that they made my crimson eyes sparkle.
Black pearls, each identically round and as big as an eye. I reach over and dip my paw into them, as if it's water. It's cool and pleasent-feeling, the balls running down my arm smoothly and falling back with a soft clunk. I dig deeper in the chest until I feel something rougher, flat, with patterns on it's face. Scratching for a hold, I bring it up to my snout and grin. Golden coins.
There were many of them under the pearls. I stick the coin delicately back in place, grap a pawful of pearls, hide them in the folds of my scarf, and close the chest. Silently, as to not jostle the little black spheres, I inch forward, wincing at every creak. I rush out the closet, close it behind me, and make a dash for the window.
That's when I hear the footsteps.
Talons, scraping lightly against the floor. Only one person. I duck under the bed, unsheath my dagger, and wait. It's a tight squeeze with the wooden chest, but I've been in worse situations.
The steps stop, the door groans open, my breathing stops. Two dark talons with razor-sharp black claws drum on the floor.
He comes closer to the bed and lifts the sheet. I'm already out on the other side, dagger raised, hugging the treasure chest that's weighing me down. Two wide green eyes glare beadily up at me.
"Kimona. First you take my daughter, and now my treasure. How on earth must I deal with you?" He reprimends softly.
"Let me go, and no one gets hurt." I growl. The falcon slit's it's eyes in response.
"Your punishment must be more severe." he croons sarcastically, and with a bird-of-prey's shriek and a feline's hiss, we both drop posessions and lunge, claws and talons extended, weapons in hand.
I just thought of something... I know Rtfacts is moving, and you're her sister, meaning, you're moving too, right? I better keep this story up until you're back too!
0_0 WHOA! That was TO EPIC! I can NOT wait to see what happens next, this is just AMAZING! You are such a wonderful writer, I'm SO excited to see more! WHOO!
So sorry that I haven't been posting on here as frequently as usual. Things have been getting away from me.
But anyway, I wonder what's in the box. Kimona and Mist are very skilled thieves.
But still the box makes me curious. What treasure is within that box?!
@Taupetiger
Thank you so much! I am so glad you like my story!! Keep reading and reviewing!
@Tigress16
Thanks! Keep reading and reviewing!!
Here is the next chapter...or the first part of it....
Chapter Four: Attack
KIMONA
Crouched down so that only my ears reached over the tall green grass, I stealthily creep up to the mansion.
It's giant, with sturdy white brick walls and a tiled blue roof. Crystal windows reflect the moon's silver light, giving the whole house a sheen of white brilliance. The door is a polished dark brown with a golden handle. On the roof smokes a red-bricked chimney.
I quickly decide to see if I could find an open window. I'm not about to take chances with the fireplace, or risk the opening of a creaky door.
With my paws leading me swiftly, I barely think about staying hidden. I don't need to. I have already adapted to that kind of stealth.
My crimson eyes traverse the smooth walls, and then I spot what I was looking for. I scale the house's walls with ease, staying hidden in the shadows. Finally, my paw grasps a hold of the window sill, and I pull myself up, scanning the room for any stray person. There is none.
I levitate myself in and flip over onto two legs, my scarf billowing out behind me. I once again settle for a low crouch, eyeing the door, thinking about silently getting out of the room, when something catches my eye.
It's a small, out of place button on the door of the closet in front of me. My eyes widen, and I can't believe my good fortune. I creep up and quickly pushed the little brass spot.
For a moment, nothing happens. But just as doubts began to surface, the closet gives a great shudder, and slides back into the wall, leaving an empty black space.
Empty, save for one small trapdoor on the cement floor.
Brushing aside cobwebs, I slowly walk in and pull, opening the trapdoor with a mighty creak, which makes me wince. I hope no one had heard me.
Wow. This is an amazing story. Your detail is marvelous (Much better than mine), and the characters are very realistic. Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing more.
@Batskee and Silvermist
We'll see about that...Thank you for reading and reviewing!

WOWEEZ!!!!! All of your sisters really have a knack for writing!!!! This story is great!! if you hadn't told me you where rtfact's sister, I would've thought you where her!
@Everyone
Thank you for the comments and so sorry for the wait!! Here's the next part!
I gaze up defiantly at the rhino, who's narrowed eyes say he doesn't trust me.
?You know who I am, brute!? I snarl. ?I'm Kimona!?
?Password.? The guard repeats stubbornly. I sigh.
?Fine.? I growl. ?Jeko, Liko, Heiko, Jase, leaders of the world's demise.?
The rhino raises on eyebrow and gives a grunt.?Pass.?
He steps out of the way and pushes the metal door open, and I step inside.
?Stupid rhino,? I mutter under my breath as the door clangs shut behind me and I walk through the forlorn, empty halls, that hold a sense of ominous promises.
Suddenly, I come across two oxes, and they open the door, acknowledging me only with a flick of their dark, hooded eyes.
The path is a red carpet, red as blood, and I walk up towards the throne towards the viper sitting lazily on it.
?Master Liko,? I say softly, falling on one knee into a respectful bow.
?Why, hello, Kimona.? he drawls. ?Heard the call, I suppose??
?Yes, Master.? I answer steadily, not shifting my gaze from the floor. ?You have a job for me??
?Yes.? The reptile answers. ?These two,? The snake holds up a picture by his tail.
Two falcons are painted on it, ones that look vaguely familiar. ?They are Biel and Garse.?
The names suddenly rang a bell in my head. ?Mist's parents...? I gasp.
?What??
?Nothing, Master.?
?Good. Now, these two have a chest full of pure golden coins in their mansion. Get in there and, get the gold, and bring it back to me.?
?How much is in it for me??
?I will see to that...as long as you do not fail.? Liko hisses. ?And the two cannot see you.?
?Why??
?The just can't.? his words sting and are full of venom, so I know he means business.
?Alright.? I growl, looking up.
?You know what to do if they do see you.? he cackles. I nod, gulping back a pang of shame.
?You may leave. You have three days.?
I get up quickly and pace briskly back to the door. ?And Kimona, dear!? the snake laughs, narrowing his eyes and parting his mouth into a creepy, fanged grin.
Awesome story! I can't wait for more!
Silvermist: Sounds like Kimona really likes her boss...not.
Me: And yes, Silvermist likes to do stuff for animal crackers.
Silvermist: That and bones!
~*Batskee*~
Haha, I loved it when Kimona took Kibishi's money bag.
AWESOMENESS!!!! I mean it, this is just AWESOME! You take after your sister in writing! Just TO awesome! You girls are ALL so good at writing! KEEP IT UP!!!
Here is the next chapter!! Thank you to everyone who commented!!
Chapter Three; Mission
KIMONA
Mist's talons scratch slightly against my fur when she flaps up and perches onto my shoulder with an angry sneer.
?That no good Kibishi! Why I deal with him, I dunno...next time, I'll make sure he takes my talons with him as well...? she ranted, and at the last comment she lifted her silver talons and gave a swipe to an invisible eagle in the air.
I chuckled at the thirteen-year-old's antics. ?Oh, it's alright, don't worry, my friend.?
?I could of gotten thirty more yen from someone else, how is that alright?!? the falconess snarled. I quickly fish something out of my pocket and finger it delicately through my striped fingers. Mist looks down with narrowed eyes and bursts into a fit of giggles.
?You snatched his coin bag!? she sniggered. I nodded and then quickly put it back into my pocket.
?It's got three-hundred yen in it, so we're covered.? I respond quietly. Three-hundred that was probably ripped away from others. ?Let's buy the food and git outta here.?
Mist nods, and we pad innocently over to Dario's stand. The one-eyed ocelot croaks out a hello.
?What'll it be today, eh, girls?? he asks with a smile.
?Gimme some dumplings, and Mist wants a bowl of turnip soup.? I ask.
?Wait a mo,? he grunts, before ladling some golden soup with floating disks of turnips in it and giving it over to me. I hand it to Mist, who grapples with the edge of the bowl with one talon and supports the bottom with her wings. Then Dario hands me a box with five steaming dumplings in it. We wave goodbye and then go outside the black market with devious grins on our faces.
We began walking away as if nothing had happened when we hear a loud ?KIMOOONNAAAAA!!? explode behind us. With a short giggle both of us race away.
~oOo~
We've traveled for an hour, and we finally make it to a small clearing in the middle of a bamboo forest. Light dapples the ground underfoot to different shades of golden and brown, and in the middle of the clearing is a small pond, with shadowed water. I throw my pack over to the side and then grab a dumpling from my box, stuffing it greedily into my mouth.
?You were hungry.? Mist comments after neatly flapping off my shoulder onto a small mat that lies next to the campfire.
?Haven't eaten since that deal with Mornsuinan.? I say, almost chocking on a piece of dumpling before swallowing it.
?That was four days ago!? Mist gasped, and I roll my eyes.
?Life is tough for an assassin...especially with my boss.? I say mater-of-factly.
?How's that old rat doin' anyway?? Mist asks. I can't help but let out a groan of disgust.
?Firstly, he's not a rat, he's a viper. Big difference.? I point out, and Mist mutters something nasty. ?And he's doin' fine.?
?Not good to know.? Mist jokes. I can't help but laugh.
We sit there, chatting amiably, discussing different topics of little importance.
?Y'know, Kimona? Ya need a boyfriend.?
I moan. ?No, not again...?
?What?? Mist snickers. ?Ya do!?
?Whatever. Can we not talk about this??
?No,?
Suddenly a distant sound makes us both look up. ?Duty calls. You can tend to yourself, right??
?Sure I can!? Mist snorts, poking the feeble fire with a stick in hope to make it grow.
?Alright. Be careful, and don't-?
?Just go!?
?Okay, I'm leavin'!? I sling my pack over my shoulder and drop on all fours, racing away towards the sound of my master's horn.
