~~Chapter 5~~~

" our village is different, different then the others. Royal bloods are only allowed to have a girl. If a boy is born, he is given to the orphanage or the villagers. Those girl after reaching the age of maturity leave the village in search of strong men, Candidates for a husband. These men are challenge to a dual, much like how you were. If the girl wins, she has to continue her quest for searching a worthy husband through battle. If the men wins, he is brought to our village and the marriage takes place. Men who wins then have full control over the village. And just like that, the cycle continues." Ming explained.

" seriously? What kind of stupid rule.."
" don't say things like that!!! This is our village rule!! We have been following this rule for a long time!! It's the royal bloods destiny" Ming snapped.

Po was taken a back. " destiny? This isn't destiny. Everyone has there right to live. The right to choose."

Sighing, " I know, but its a curse to be in a royle family."

" you said to song fall in love. What happened?" po asked.

"ti song was such a beauty from heart. So generous, cheerful, talkative. She was everything that a princess was not suppose to be. She never thought highly of herself. Even with her servents, she was so kind. To her I was like a sister. Royal blood or not I was her friend. And one day she met him. His name was Leo. He wasn't a fighter. No he couldn't even hurt a fly. They fall in love. Ti song was so happy. But they kept it a secret. A few months passed by. And Ti song now knew that she deeply loved leo enough to marry him. But their secret was out and one night they... They" Ming stopped, and kept her hand on her face.

" they did what?" po asked motioning her to continue.

" they... They..Leo was an easy target"
" what?" po shouted " they... They!! How could they!! They don't have the right to end anyone's life!!"

" He wasn't suitable for a royal husband. He wasn't a worthy warrior" Ming whispered. " it was a plot by few concerned by the village future"

" how could they! How could they take Leo away from go song" Po said in anger as he clenched his fists.

"They were scared. Scared for the future of the village. Fear makes one do unbelievable cruel and ruthless things" Ming said. Her eyes grazing down.

Sorry the chapter is short but I'll try to post the next part as soon as I can. Once again I'm truly sorry.

Po woke up. The sky was still dark. He stood up and went near the window to admire the beauty of the imperial city. He looked to the right towards the garden. there The light was dim, fireflies were dancing round and round and around, the air was filled with the beautiful scent of flowers. He looked to the left to see the buildings, a few lights illuminated the sky. He looked down, to see Ming, the leopard, the servant of a princess who wanted to marry him. He looked ahead to see.... Wait what? Po thought as he looked down and rubbed his eyes to see ming who was giving him a 'come down this instance or else' look. Sighing in misery, po climbed the stairs down to meet miss trouble.
"what is wrong with you? You followed me? Why?" po asked.
" I told you, I will not rest until you have a dual with ti song" she said, stamping with irritation. " why won't you have a dual with her?"
" because I don't want to marry her" po answered.
" just have a dual with her, princess ti song will beat you. So you don't have to worry about marrying her"

" thats not true Ming, just seeing her fight once. I could pinpoint the mistakes in her stance. I'm really good, and I take even the littlest fights seriously. If I have a dual with her, I will win." po explained.

" then you can end her misery, po" she squeaked with joy.
" end her misery? By forcing her to marry someone who she doesn't even know? I won't end her misery I will just increase it Ming" po snapped. And added " and besides she has to fall in love with someone and a dual is not a way.."
" she did" Ming interrupted him "princess ti song did fall in love."

" she did? Then that's great!! She should marry him not me!!"

" That's not possible, not any more" Ming said. Her voice who full of sorrow and pain.
" why?" po asked. He had sensed the sadness in her reply.
" it's a long story" Ming answered. " let's sit first"
" okay, but the last time you asked me to sit you gave me the shock of my life. Don't do that this time" po complained.
" I won't"
The two of them, in the silence of the night. Found a good spot to sit and talk. The stars around them were shining brightly with the dark background. " so what happened? Who was the one princess ti song fall in love with?"

Taking a deep breath. Ming replied " I will now tell you the story of ti song, but first I will tell you a little about the village we are from."

Revealed!! Who did ti song fall in love with? Where is he now? What about the village!! So many questions which will be answered after a short break. Stay tune and wait till the commercial break ends. Tell me you guys seriously hate it when any show takes a commercial break at a epic point.

chapter 3

Po backed away, "wha!!!! Marriage!???". "yes" Ming replied.
" no!! No!! So no!!" Po shouted. " have you lost it? marriage? I don't even know her!!".

"does it matter whether you know her or not".,
"of course it does!!!" po screamed.

" so when are you going to have the duel with her?" Ming asked. "never!" po answered.

" but you have to!!".
"no I don't , pleasure to meet ya and don't wanna see ya" po said as he got up to leave. "wait!! Dragon warrior!!"
But po ignored and continued to walk as far as he could from this joke.
" you've to, I will not rest until you have a duel with princess Ti song."
He could hear ming voice.

" she did what!!!" monkey shouted. He was laughing so hard that tears started to flow from his eyes.

" it's not funny!!" po yelled
" not for you but for us it is" monkey joked.
" it really is a weird way to propose" shifu chuckled.
" you know po, if the princess ever sees you eat I bet you my life time supply of cookies that she would end her life than marry you"
" that's not true" po blushed with embarrassment.

" OK that's enough fun for today, we have a long journey back and we will need our rest" shifu said " one more thing, we leave first thing in the morning we don't wanna encounter the future wife to be of the dragon warrior do we po?" shifu chuckled .
"I hate you" po mummered as silently as possible.
" anyway time to asleep".

The room was quiet as the two warrior asleep. Po couldn't sleep. he tired and tired but she just keep coming in her mind. Stop it po!! His thoughts screamed its not like she is staying up all night thinking about you. I bet she didn't even thought about you once since we left. Po sighted. I love her and i can no longer lie to myself.
Po looked up at the window to see the stars before closing his eyes he whispered " goodnight tigress".
Back at the jade palace.
tigress extended her arms to close the window. Slowly she lied down on her bed and whispered "goodnight po". Before closing her eyes.

Princess Ti song took her hood again and started walking in the opposite direction. Only to be stopped by Po. " hey what's going on? why did.. Hey wait I'm talking to you"

The leopard ignored Po and kept on walking. Po went after the princess but was stopped by the other leopard ( the other hooded person)

"who are you?" she asked in a voice even colder that tigress's. "this matter does not concern you"

"of course it does, I'm the dragon warrior, and I have the right to know what's going on"

"your the dragon warrior?" she asked with a hint of disbelief in her voice.

"yes, the name is po ping"

"apologize, dragon warrior" she said " my name is Ming. And I'm the princess Ti song's most trusted and loyal servant"

"okay... So what was that all about?" Po inquired " that guy wanted to marry this princess Ti ong or song whatever so why did he attacked her?

" This is one of the reasons we were searching for you dragon warrior"

"Searching for me? Do you want me to be the princess bodyguard or something?" Po asked showing a little bit of annoyance in his voice.

" let's find some place to sit than we shall talk" Ming said in a commanding voice

" okay"

So Ming and Po sat on the nearest bench.

After a long uncomfortable silence. Ming started to speak. " you are A very famous warrior" she said " the stories of your victories are even famous in our village."

" so this Ti song, she the village's princess right? So why were you guys looking for me"

" because you are a worthy warrior"

" really? I mean thank you" after a pause Po asked " so is that all you wanted to say?"

Ming give him a irritating look. "do we look like fools to you?" she asked

'A little' Po thought " of course not"

Ming sighted. " please have a dual with princess Ti song"

"Wait! What? Why" Po asked. His voice was clearly hinting shock

" this is why we were searching for you" Ming said rolling her eyes she repeated

" please have a duel with princess Ti song"

" but why?"

" well it isn't much of a big deal if princess Ti song wins we will leave"

"and what if I win?"

Ming said nothing for a while. Her mind was racing to find the exact words to tell this stranger. And thinking of his most possible reactions. Than she finally answered the panda a little scared of what might happen next.

" you will than, have the princess hand for marriage"
