The sun began to rise in the Valley of Peace. Shifu was throwing a banquet, and the table had been set since the previous night. Monkey was on guard, it was his duty to make sure no bandits came during the night and stole food.
As the clouds cleared to make way for the new day, fire-red fur could be seen emerging from the bamboo woods. The fox bobbed and dived, ducked and weaved, moving swiftly and stealthily like a ninja. A huge boulder hid him from sight while he was able to map out a plan. Jinfox always had a plan...
"That food...it could last me a lifetime!" Jinfox whispered, losing his self in excitement. "I have to get it!"
The level-headed bandit's amber eyes scanned the area. In the distance, a few rabbit families were heading towards Monkey. Shifu's banquet could begin any moment. There was no time left. It was time to act now!!

Thanks for reading, everyone! I'm new here, and this is my first fanfic after reading Batskee & Bluewire's stories.
Hi, Tealeaves1. How are ya? Well, so far I like your story. Jin sounds like a stealthy bandit alright.
Ruby: I know how it feels not being trusted because your a fox. *sigh* Happens to me quite often.
Zenghui: People don't give me trouble.
Ruby: I don't know why that is.
Zenghui: It's probably because I don't cause mischief all of the city.
Ruby: *thinks for a moment and cocks head* Oh yeah.
Jin reached into his black garments and revealed a bronze knife. He slinked through the grass and underneath the table, surrounded by a basket of cheese wedges, a barrel of apples, and a bowl of dumplings. The fox opened his burlap sack and threw one of each inside, careful not to take too many. That would draw attention, and eventually bring a pursuer. And with no protection, how could he afford that?
Jin tucked the bag inside his jacket and looked towards the forest. So close, yet so far. Would he be able to escape without anyone noticing him? Surely Po and the Five were nearby. Besides, even if the warriors weren't around, a pig might attack him! No one trusts fox.
An idea came to the crafty bandit's mind. He pulled a hood over his ears and began to saw through the legs of the table. With all of the confusion, Jin would easily disappear back into the shadows where he belonged. Nothing could stop him there. Sweat began to pour down his face. Finally, the table fell!
