Layla's pov
The cab just dropped me off at The Palm Woods. I walk up to desk. How may I help you? Bitters asks. I'm here to see my brother. I say. Who is that? He asks. Layla. Kendall says. Hey Ken. I say and we hug. Where's Logan? I ask. He's upstairs. Kendall says. I'll take you to find him. Kendall says. I think I can find him. I tell Bitters. So how have you guys been doing? I ask. I had been shooting movies in L.A since I was six I also sing but not everybody knows. Logan always wanted to be a doctor so he never got into it. Great. Kendall says. Welcome to the buissness. I say. Logan is my big brother by a year tenically eleven months but you know whatever. We take the elevator upstairs. We go into the apartment. Kendall can you tell Carlos it's my turn to have the fancy remote control. Logan says and notices me. Layla. He says and hugs me. Hey big bro. I say. Hey Carlos. I say and hug him. Hey James. I say. Hey. He says and looks down.
Chapter 16 Layla's pov
I go back upstairs. I go put my bags down in Izzie's room. She was at her best friend's place. I go and sit down at the table. William go get your sister from her friend's room. Which one? He asks. Across the hall. He says. Layla help set the table please. Mrs. Clara says. I was used to her commanding me to do things I mean I had to do chores for her for seven years. Will and Izzie come back. Izzie sits down next to me. Hey I was going to sit there. Will say. I started humming the tune to If I die young By: Band Perry. We eat our dinner which was shepard's pie. After dinner we watched Will's favorite movie. Tomorow we're going to get a puppy. Ms. Clara says. Finally. Will says loudish. Yay! I say. I know right. Izzie says.
Chapter 15 Layla's pov
When we got up to Will's room his dad was home and he is a doctor. He wraps my back up in gause. Keep this on here for fourty eight hours. He says. And keep the band aid on your toe till it heels. He says. Will help me to the couch. I sit down and we watch TV. After a hour or so I realized I had to go get my stuff to stay down here. I've got to go get my stuff I'll be back. I say. Okay. Will says his favorite show was on. So I go back to the guys appartment. I pack up my stuff. When I was leaving the boys went inside. All expept for James. You're leaving. he says. Just downstairs. I say. It's okay if you want to be with Will but you could've told me. He says. I kiss him. Will and I are just friends we've been for 10 years it would be gross if we dated. I say. I hug him.He looks down. What happened? He asks. Pool accident. I say. Now I've got to keep this on for two days I say. Sorry. He says. See ya. I say. Yeah. He says.
Chapter 14
I pretend to call someone and only mouth words. They look at the machine. I pretend to hang up. They walk out of the room and close the door. I hear the music Crocidile rock came on and I sang the song. They came back in and froze. I kick the door open and take Will with me because he wasn't frozen. Well you are an awesome singer. He says. I'm mad at you. I mutter. Please don't be mad at me. He says. I turn around and he hugs me. We go to the pool after that. Will picks me up and throws me in but I was still hanging on to his hand so he feal in. When we get back to the top of the water we laugh. Some little kid pushes through us and I go backwards. I hit the wall and scrap my back and toe. I climb out of the water. So does Will he sits beside me. Come on I think mom has some band aids at the house. He puts his towell on my back because I forgot to bring one.
Chapter 13 Layla
Logan gets behind me and holds my shoulders down to lead me there. I don't want to go. I say and stop moving. He tries to drag me I dig my feet down. But he pushes me hard enough to get me moving again. Why do I have to go? I ask. Because you sing. He says. No I don't. I say. But Will and Logan both knew I did. But they didn't say anything. So they dragged me there. Gustavo, Kelly we got her. Carlos yells. They come out. I do one of those I don't want to see you smiles then frown. Then they lock me in a sound booth. You know this is kidnapping you can get arrested for this. I say. I show them my phone. You wouldn't? Logan asks. Would I? I ask. I'll unlock the door. Gustavo says. I'm an actress I could easilly cry. I say and put my head in my hands and when I lean up there were tears streaming down my face. Mr. Officer they took me and trapped me here. I say and smile. Kelly starts walking towards the door. No don't unlock the door. He says.
Chapter 12 Layla
Kendall, James that's Will blah blah we did our first movie together and we're best friends. I say and shake to water bottles. I hand them to Carlos and Logan. I pick up two more and shake and hand them to James and Kendall. Ipick up to more and only shake one and hand the other to Will. Mine is unpurply. He says. Stop acting younger than your sister. I say. My sister is eighteen. He says. The other one. I say. Where is Blain? I ask. She's in Canada. He says. So what are you guys doing? I ask. We have to go see Gustavo. Logan says. I'm not going. I say. Come on guys. Logan says. Kendall picks me up and throws me over his shoulder. It's Americia I should be able to choose where I go. I say. That'd be to easy. Will says. Your not going to try and help me? I ask him. Nah, I only help people who make my purple juice purple. He says. I stick my tonge out at him. Put me down. I say. He puts me down. I turn around and Logan grabs my shoulder.
Chapter 11 Layla's pov
Logan this is Will my best friend Will this is Logan. I say. Nice to finally meet you trust me she obsesses over you. Will says. Same here it's always like Will is so great and I'm like I get it. Logan says. Well your my two favorite guys. I say. Carlos looks at me with a pouty face. I love you too Carlos. I say. After a couple minutes James and Kendall come in. Want something to drink? I ask Will. I'll take some of your awesome coffee. He says. Brb. I say. Kendall and James sit beside Carlos and Logan. Which was across from Will. You guys want something to drink? I ask. Water. Kendall says. Purple juice. Logan says. I haven't had purple juice in years. I say. Purple juice? James, Carlos, and Kendall asks. Water, pink lemonade, and blue hawiian punch. Will and Logan say. Hey that was supposed to be a secret. I say. Let's all try purple juice. Carlos says. Yeah. Will says. You have coffee. I say. Not anymore. He says and shows an empty cup. I roll my eyes.
Chapter 10 Layla's pov
I finally get to meet this awesome brother of yours. He says. And his friends. I say. We walk out. Race you. I say and I start running. He runs after me. I hear extra footsteps I put my arm in front of Will. I look behind us I see a flash of something. I thought I heard something. I say. Let's go. Will says. Will's phone rings. ooh is it your girlfriend? I whisper. Uh no. He says in a way you know he was lying. He text something to her. His girlfriend is Lillian B. Then we start singing pocket full of sunshine. We get on the elevator and go to my brothers level. Lillian is going to see her aunt in Tenesee. He says. Really Willie. I say. He laughs at my old joke. Will and I have been friends since both of our first movies. We were best friends in the movie. And Clara is my mom's friend so I went and lived with them till I was thirteen and I got an agent. We went into the appartment. Logan and Carlos look over from their video game.
Chapter 9 Layla's pov
Will and I go inside his appatment 7R. Hey mom. Will yells. Hey Ms. Clara. I say. Hello William and Layla nice to see you it's been to long. She says and I hug her. I just got fired so you'll be seeing a lot more of me. I say. Do you have any cookies? Will asks. They're over there and they're hot. She says. They just got out of the oven. She says. Will picks up one and drops it back down on the cookie sheet. She said they were hot I say and pick up one and take a bite out of it. Layla the girl who can eat anything at any temperture. Will says. Chapter 8 Layla's pov
Will's mom is Clara Smith she is a famous chef/pastry chef. So she makes awesome food. When we get to the palm wood the sprinklers were on. Will pushed me in them. I pulled him in. He started chasing me. Let's go inside now. I say. And get dry. I add. He takes my hand and drags me.
James pov
I watched some dude pull Layla in. What are you watching? Kendall asks. Shh. I say and point to Layla and the guy. They race to the elevator button. The guy got there first. She pushes him and gets on. He follows him. I run over and se what floor they go to. They went up to the floor 7. I get on another elevator and Kendall follows. I go up to seven. Once we get off I hear them talking. So when are we going to go see your brother? I hear the boy ask. Uh once your mom gives me a cookie. She says. Why are we following Layla? Kendall asks. Because. I say.
Chapter7 Layla's pov
After lunch director Dan pulled me aside. Look we don't think your the right person to play Rillea. She's emo and your like a princess he says it's just to much different. He says. So we're giving your solo to Camille Roberts. He says. I hope that's fine. He says. It's fine I totally understand. I say. I see Camille in a corner practicing her lines. I walk up to her. Congrats on your part. I say and leave. I get in my car my best friend Will was here. Your out Early. He says. Yeah they took away my part. I say and buckle up. Sorry. He says. Chapter 6 Logan's pov
Are you two like dating now? I ask. Logan it was just two kisses one at Christmas and one a few minutes ago. He says. You two kissed a few minutes ago. I say. Oh you didn't know about that. He says. I go grab a banana. I'm going to go take a walk. I walk downstairs. Camille runs up to me. Logan I didn't get to ask you yesterday but I saw you a couple days ago walking with another girl. She says. Chapter 5 Layla's pov
I got to the guy's appartment at midnight. Ms. Knight fixed me a blowout matris and put in Katie's room. I woke up at 6:30 am like I always do. I fixed some coffee and sat down and started watching good luck Charlie. James came in at 8 am. Morning James. I say pouring another cup of coffee. He mutters something and was about to head back to his room. Why are you acting like this? I ask.
Logan's pov
I was hiding behind the corner.He turns around. No, why are you acting like this. He says. Maybe because you kissed me and ran off with no explaination. She says. Maybe I kissed you because I thought you were pretty or liked you. He says.You think I'm pretty.she say. Yeah.He says.It became silent for a few seconds.I couldn't see them.Look I've got to get to work here's the address meet me for lunch.I here Layla say after a while. When I went out of the booth. I asked Kelly where Layla was. Once I said Layla's name James left. She had to go to work. We could never get her to sing. She says. She's really shy about singing in front of people. I say. What's up with James lately? I ask. I don't know. Kendall says.
James' pov
Layla has been acting ackward towards me so I've done the same to her. I kissed her because she looked so pretty and I kind of like her. But she doesn't feel the same so I act like it was an accident. She is the only girl that I really really liked. It makes me feel bad to know she doesn't feel the same way. James. Logan says walking up to me. Why have you been acting so weird? He asks. To tell you the truth I feel kind of starstruck towards your sister because she's bigger than us. I say. I say. I like actual pie. Logan says. You like pie in math more though. Kendall says. After Logan hung up from talking to James and they took me to the studio. Logan introduces me.
