~Chapter 1-Ember's POV~
Ugh! Another BORING day in Hollywood.
My name's Ember Jennilynn Oliver. Let me tell you about myself. I'm 11-years-old. I'm turning 12 on September 17th. I can be described as "dark" just like my mom, Jade. I'm fascinated with fire. I don't know why. I just am. I have an older brother named James and a younger sister named Mercy.
Let me tell you about my day so far.
Today's Friday, August 30th.
I was sketching a picture of my cat, Blaze, when a hyper voice called, "EMBER!"
I groaned. It was Mercy.
She ran up to me and said, "Ember Ember Ember! Wanna play a game? Huh huh huh? Oh! A butterfly!" She ran to my window.
Mercy's always this hyper. It's because she has ADHD. It's when you have a short attention span and can't really focus. But, I'll always love her.
"Alright. I'll be there in a minute," I said.
"YAY!" Mercy shouted as she ran out of my room.
I put my sketchbook down and pet Blaze.
"Be back later," I told him and went to Mercy's room.
Ch.10
Caleb's POV~
I was getting off the bus until Molly comes tracing after
me.''What took u so long?''she asked.''Me,Ember,Finn
Cleo,and James were at the Black Box Theatre''I replied.
''Are you and Cleo friends?''Molly asked.''Yeah''I said.
''What kind?''she asked.''Just friends''I told her,But she
kept on asking until I exclaimed.''It's not like that Ok!?''
Molly then frowned.Then I sighed.''Look,I'm sorry.Cleo's my best friend'' ''Like Finn and Jake?''she asked.''Right''
Then we walked home when she asked.''Why do people
date?'' ''That's gonna be a whole different story''I said to
her.

''But my friends are kinda in the family too''
''And How many kids to they have?''
''Cat and Robbie have 6 and Beck and Jade have 3''
''So your family's just your friends?''
''Yeah.They're my support''
''um,ok.I like ur shirt,Which did u get it from?''
''My daughter brought it for me from JC Penney''
''Ok,well we'll be right back after the break''
That was great.Then we went to Nozu that day.
Ch.9
Ember's POV~
I came home from school when Finn picked me and Cleo up and I saw Mercy playing with her Barbie dolls in her
room.I went downstairs and saw Mom in the kitchen with her scissors.''Mom,why is Mercy
staying home?''I asked.''Her principal called and said that
she go to school anymore because she was weird and obnoxious.'' Well that was mean!We had to go The Harris'
because Mrs.Harris was gonna be on The David Storms Show.''I don't see why they didn't put me on his show,
I'm a beautiful singer.''Mrs.Vega said.''Slightly''Cambria
said quietly.Then,The show came on.Mrs.Harris looked great.When David Storms asked her''How's your family,
how many kids do u have?'' she replied.''Well,I have 4
kids,Caleb,Aiden,Molly,and Cambria,''
Ch. 8
Cleo's POV~
I entered in school and I already decorated my locker.
It has fish,roses,mermaids,and a panther(like an Ed Hardy look).My locker was next to Ember's who had fire
on it.Anyway,I was going to Sikowitz's class and I saw James.What if he'll notice me?I just probably need to ignore him.Sikowitz asks me and Ember to play an old couple.Did I mention he drinks coconuts to give him visions?What's with that?After school,I was walking in the
hallway towards Ember to ask her if I can come over her
house,she said yes.I was walking away until I bumped into James and dropped my books.I'm sooo embarassed!
He helped me with my books until our hands touched.
We looked at each other for a moment,But it was nothing so we just said.''See you around''.How much of an idiot I
was just to not ask him out!I kicked the door and went
outside to wait for Finn to pick me up.
Ch.7
Ember's POV~
Molly played her guitar and we sang''Make it Shine'' Acoustic.Then late that night,when to my mom.''Mom,can
I have a pair of scissors for my birthday?''I asked her.
''Maybe''She replied.I always wanted matched,But for I was never allowed to have them.''You know,ur less mean when ur a mom''Mrs.Harris told her.Then,Mom looked at her.We said goodnight to everyone as we went upstairs to
the other rooms.Mercy fell asleep on the couch so James carried her upstairs.School is gonna be a drag!
Ch.6
Cambria's POV~
I came downstairs and saw Caleb and Aiden playing the Galaxy Wars Video Game.''You know they'll be here in an
hour''I reminded them.''So?''Caleb asked.''So,don't u have normal to do?'' ''Like what?''Molly asked.
''I don't know like playing with dolls?''I suggested.
''Sounds boring to me''Molly said.Sometimes,My siblings can be pretty weird,Not less your mom's a singer.Later
that day,When The Oliver's came over,I hung out with
James, My friend Cleo's has this crush on him that she's been keeping for a long time,But maybe he doesn't know.
Later that night,All of us sat outside near a campfire and
ate S'mores.''I don't think we've ever did this before in
years''Mom said.''Like that time we rode that bus on the way from school?''Dad asked.Everyone said yes.''I'm
bored''Ember said.''What should we do?'' Mr. Oliver asked.''How about a song?''Dad asked.''There's this song
that I wrote myself ''Molly said.
Ch.5
Ember's POV~
Yeah,so we were about to get in the car on our way to the
Shapiro's,I put my sketchbook in my backpack to do something over there,But I'll be hanging out with Aiden
anyway.My older brother Jason was listening to his iPod,when Dad turned on the radio,Mercy started rocking out.I just rolled my eyes and grinned as I drew.''Is Blaze
named Blaze because he's red?''Mercy asked.''Yeah''Ember said.''Imagine if lizards can breathe
fire,that would be cool!''she added.I had no idea what she
was talking about.''What?''Jason asked.''I said what if
pet lizards breathe out fire like dragons!''she said.
''Mercy,what r u talking about?''Mom asked.Then,she started pouting.Trust me,whenever she blurts things out.she can get pretty mad.Mercy was named after my
dad's younger sister,she passed away when he was a teen.Sometimes,Mercy doesn't understand the things about her or the world.

@Dreaminbig-Honestly,The name Mercy came from a sad fanfic I read last year,But that makes her special in this
fanfic.

Okay, so basically, it stands for Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. With the Attention Deficit part, your brain doesn't make enough of something, so you can't focus as well as others, even though you are just as smart. You sorta daydream and live in your own world, and your mind wanders a lot, meaning you are very easily distracted. You have trouble really seeing projects and deadlines, so you often don't do schoolwork. Sometimes you can sit at the front of the class to help you be less distracted. The Hyperactivity part is where you have to always be doing something, wheter running around, tapping your feet, or something else. You can go on forever doing whatever action you are doing. You blurt out things impulsively, without thinking. ADHD is mostly found at a young age. You take a test to see if you have it. Sometimes, you need medication, but you can always just change your school and home routine to help you focus and do your work. It's a bit hard for me, you know, not finishing work and stuff, but it's okay. Oh, and also... this might be just me, but when I'm writing I misspell words or leave out random letters because even though I know them, my mind isn't focusing and it jumbles everything. It's so annoying when that happens because I have to go back and erase it. Just so you know... yeah...

~Chapter 4-Lily's POV~
Yay! School's starting soon! I'm gonna be in 4th Grade!
My name's Lilah van Cleef but everyone calls me Lily. Let me tell you about myself. I'm gonna be 9-years-old on October 6th. I wear a headband with ALL of my outfits. I have an older brother named Eli.
Let me tell you how my day's gone.
I was playing a game on my laptop when I heard the phone ring.
"I'll get it!" Mom called.
It was Aunt Tori. I knew this because whenever she calls, my mom answers, "Tori! How's my not-as-talented-as-me sister?"
I couldn't hear all of the conversation but, what I did hear was, "No. Sorry. We're having guests too."
When she hung up, I asked, "Who was that?"
"Aunt Tori. She wanted to know if we wanted to come over this weekend but, we can't because we're having the Shapiros over," Mom explained.
"We are?"
"Uh huh."
"Yay!" I called as I ran to my room to call my best friend, Margo.
