That's common sense. You are not the only car on the road. Someone will eventually pass you, either on the left or right. Actually if you watch in the rear-view and side mirrors or back window (wherever you can see behind you when you ride), you can watch the habits of the drivers around you and predict what exactly they may do. You won't always be correct, but it's a good start to help prepare you for when you get to drive.
