Chapter 7 (Still in Kacey's POV):
"What if they tell Stevie?! Then she will know that I have a crush on her!" Zander said, still freaking out.
"I told them not to tell Stevie anything. So, don't worry," I said.
He relaxed, but was still blushing.
Then my phone went off. I looked at it and it said that I got a text from Nelson. "Speaking of the dorkos," I said.
"They are not dorkos," he said, defending them.
"They made you blush really hard and run out of the room by acting like five-year olds over something very mature and very sweet: love," I said.
"Okay, they are dorkos," he said laughing, but still blushing a little harder. "What does your text say?" he asked.

"Looking amazingly beautiful. Yes," Zander said, in a voice people use when they're daydreaming.
"When your jaw dropped?" I asked.
His response was a harder blush. "Sooo," he said.
"Sooo," I said awkwardly.
"Wait..." he said. "Where are Kevin and Nelson?"
"Still in the band room," I replied.
"Oh no!" he said starting to freak out.
"What?!" I asked.

"Oh... Okay... It's just kinda hard to say. Uuum... I don't just have a little crush on Stevie. I have a huge, giant, enormous crush on her. I can't even think straight. She's always on my mind," he said blushing harder.
"That is sooooo sweet," I said. "And you still need to blush?" I asked.
"Can't help it," he said again. "That's how much I like her. Well..." he said.
"What?" I asked.

Zander gave me a sheepish smile. "I kinda do. I can't help it. I have to whenever I talk to someone about Stevie... or my crush on her," he said admitting it, but blushing way, way harder.
"Zander!" I said.
"What?!" he asked.
"You finally found the courage to admit your crush on Stevie," I replied.
"Yeah. I guess I did," he said. "You're the only person I told, though." He blushed harder. "Please don't tell anyone," he begged.
"Don't worry. I promise I won't," I said.
