Yeah, I know. It's a lame title. Sorry for my disability to title stories. Anyway, I absolutely LOVED this movie times 10! This will be my first and hopefully last Rise of the Guardians Fanfic. Once this gets on, I will post the info of the main character and the prologue. (Yes, there is a prologue)
The children opened their eyes excitedly, smiles covering their faces. Their smiles faded after their eyes popped open.
?What? What is it?? Jack asked, worried. ?Don?t you see her??
?I can?t believe that?s her.? Jamie said. Kal looked down at her shoes.
?She?s so?.pretty!? The girl said.
Kal looked up in surprise. She slowly walked up toward the brown haired girl. She held out her hand, and touched the girl?s hair. Kal?s eyes widened, and then they softened as tears started to form in her eyes. They started to fall.
?Oh no, did we do something wrong?? Jamie said.
?No, you didn?t. She?s just a little sensitive when it comes to moments like these.? Jack said. Kal punched his stomach. ?But she can pack a punch.? Jack wheezed out. He fell over in exaggeration, making all of the kids laugh, and Kal giggle. The children heard it.
?Kal, you laughed again.? Jack said. Kal smiled.
?Even your laugh is pretty.? The girl looked at Kal in admiration.
?It?s too bad she can?t control it.? Jack said.
?What do you mean?? Jamie asked, a confused look on his face.
?Kal is mute, which means she can?t talk, even if she wanted to. She doesn?t have the ability to make any sound. But, she seems to make one when she?s in a very emotional state.? Jack answered.
?Well, it was nice meeting you, Kal. I hope we get to see you again.? The girl said. Kal patted her on the head and gave her a smile. All of the kids ran home.
Kal turned to Jack and mouthed two words: ?Thank you?
?You?re very welcome. You deserve to be seen.? He said.
Suddenly, the ground opened up beneath them, and they fell through it. It was an opening to a tunnel that lead right into Santa?s workshop.
Sorry about the question marks. I type my stuff on Microsoft word, and when I copy, paste, and post, instead of quotation marks ("") It comes out as question marks. (?) Sorry for the inconvenience.

P.S. I am so sorry I'm so slow. I've been really busy with school lately. I will try to post this weekend.
Chapter 4: Dance on the Ice part 1
(Dear Latias100, I will add your character in chapter 5 no doubt.)
A week has passed ever since Kal had met the Guardians, and it had been a very busy week for her, Jack and North. Jack has been giving all the kids snow days, and he was busy freezing things and making frost. North and his workers has been busy making toys, and Kal has been busy testing them, especially the musical instruments.
Kalia and Sandy were great friends. Sandy taught Kal how to draw images for the others to decipher what she was thinking or what she wanted to say. Kal was also good friends with Tooth, who knew a lot about Jack by the way. She was Kalia?s only path to being a true feminine female. (sorry if it sounds like I was exaggerating)
As for Bunnymund, they are on good terms. He?s a little down that Kal was good friends with Jack, but he didn?t mind. Kal showed him some designs she had drawn on some of his eggs out of interest when she visited his place for the first time. Bunny said that when the time for Easter came, she could be the person to paint special rare eggs that the kids could find.
Right now, Kal was in the town of Burgess, watching all of the kids play in a snowball fight that, of course, Jack Frost was hosting. It was just like the snowball fight that Kal had watched when she first saw him. All of the kids were behind their forts, throwing snowballs at one another. Jack filled up with their ammo when they needed it, but he gave more to Jamie?s team.
?I guess that?s his favorite kid.? Kal thought, smiling.
?And, the group that wins is?Jamie?s team!? Jack said.
?Alright!? Jamie and the kids on his team cheered.
?Who?s up for a freestyle snowball fight?? Jack asked. All of the kids screamed yes, or yeah happily when Jack suggested the idea.
?Alright, let?s do it!? Jack said. ?But, first, I want you guys to meet a new friend of mine.? Kal raised her eyebrows at this. ?She?s an immortal, like I am, and no one really believes in her.?
?What does she look like Jack?? a girl asked.
?What is she like?? Jamie asked.
?I was just about to tell you that in my description.? He looked over at Kal. ?Kal, come over here!? Kal took small, slow, steady steps towards the group. The kids eyes grew wide as they saw footprints form in the crunchy snow.
?Okay, now, imagine a very pretty girl,? Jack said. He smirked when Kal blushed. ?With long, black hair woven into a thick braid. A girl with dark brown eyes that gleam and shine. Imagine the girl with fair skin. She only goes up to my chin, but her looks make up for it. Imagine that that?s how pretty she is.? Kal blushed even harder.
?Now, about this girl?s personality.? Jack said. ?She?s very quiet and shy around people she?s never met. In fact, she doesn?t have a voice. She?s mute. But, she has a laugh like nobody else?s, and I?ve only heard it once. It was like listening to a quiet ring of a small bell. She opens up once you get to know her. When she?s playing instruments like the violin and piano, she?s calm and serene, and she looks confident. She might be a stick in the mud at first, but she sure does know how to have fun.? Jack smiled at Kal at this part.
?She?s very creative and artistic, and she?s a natural at making friends, even if she doesn?t have a voice. She?s very kind and caring, and she has a warm heart. She?s concerned about everyone. It doesn?t matter if it?s a man or woman, a boy or girl, a child or an adult, or an innocent or criminal. She?s willing to help anyone in need, unless that person needs help with a crime.? At this, the children laughed.
?She?s also hard-working, and she does her best at everything. She?s strong, quick and very smart. Do you want to know this girl?s name?? The children smiled and nodded vigorously.
?She hasn?t given us her full name yet, but she wants us to call her Kal. Now, open your eyes.?
Kal felt the smooth, wooden surface of the violin, and she trailed each of the strings carefully with her index finger. She turned the pegs a bit, tuning the violin out of experience and instinct. She took the bow from North, and started to play. (if you want to know the song she played, I?ll give you two song choices. Look up : Ave Maria violin solo or Canon in D violin solo)
To the three audience members, her playing was flawless, and the yetis and elves even stopped their work to listen. Bunny and Tooth came over to talk to North about something, but they were entranced by Kal?s playing.
Jack noticed an expression on Kal?s face, and it was an expression full of emotion, mostly happiness. It was the first time he saw Kal so calm and serene, yet confident and strong. He felt like she could do anything she wanted to do, and he decided that she was exactly that type of person: the person that could change anyone and anything.
When the song ended, Kal?s closed eyes opened to reveal a gleaming brown color. A small smile adorned her flushed face, as she looked at the violin with love. She jumped when everyone started to clap and cheer. The idiotic elves played their little instruments in praise. Tooth flew to her and started complimenting her on how good she was and how she stood etc.
When the cheering died down, every person (or creature) noticed tears flowing down Kal?s cheeks. She took small, teetering steps towards North, then ran into his arms, hugging him tightly, as if saying, ?thank you.?
North seemed to get the message, for he smiled and hugged her back. ?You?re welcome, little one.? Kal started to hiccup from the intense crying, and she rubbed her eyes, trying to hold back the tears.
?Oh, how adorable.? Jack said teasingly. His fun instincts told him that she hated being called cute. Boy was he right. (Let?s just say that he had the chase of his life trying to avoid a crying, hiccupping, angry yet smiling girl that was always right on his heels?. Until he started riding the wind.)

She smiled, and then she?laughed. No, it was more of a giggle, but it was still something. It sounded sweet and musical. It was almost as if Kal was singing. The sound was like a small chime of a single bell.
?Kal, you just laughed!? Jack said. He smiled widely. ?There still must be traces of your voice left in you.?
Kal tried to laugh again, but to no avail. The sad look appeared on her face, and when Jack tried to comfort her, she smiled and wrote something in the snow. It said, ?At least I got to share a laugh with a new friend.? Jack smiled at this, and Kal began to write again. ?Thank you. This is the first time in a long time that I?ve ever felt truly happy.?
Something dark started to dot the white snow, and Jack looked up to see Kal hugging her knees to her chest, eyes tightly shut. She was crying tears of joy.
?Well, I?m glad you?re happy.? He said, ruffling her black hair. Kal sniffed as Jack stood up. He pulled her up with him, and they started to walk back inside the toy shop.
When they walked in, they saw North and South standing together. North was working and instructing the yetis while South watched him and calmed him down when his tempter got a little over the edge. When Kal and Jack were in view, he started to smile.
?Ah? how was your little snowball fight.? Kal looked at him wide eyed. ?Sorry. New security cameras. I couldn?t help but find out what was going to happen. Curiosity got best of me.? North said. He sounded guilty. He smiled again.
?Anyway, Kal, I have a surprise for you.? Kal gave him a, ?What is it?? kind of look, and North turned, his back toward Jack and Kal. Noises were coming from in front of him, and sparks and flashes of light appeared every few seconds. After a minute or two, he was finished with his tinkering, and North held out a pure, snow white violin.
Kal simply looked at the violin with emotionless eyes and an emotionless expression. Her eyes seemed to go blank as she reached out to touch the violin. Her movement faltered a bit out of hesitation, but she managed to grab the violin.
