Back Story:
Ever wonder how April Fools came to be? Well, that'll be me. I was one of those cleverish boys back then around 1564. That was when King Charles IX of France adopted a new calendar and decreed that each new year was to begin on January 1st. However, while most people followed their king?s decree, there were some who did not like the idea of the change and refused to accept the new New Year?s Day.
These people soon became the butt of jokes and tricks by their friends and neighbors because they continued to observe April 1st as New Year?s Day.
Well those tricks were the end of me. I'd pranked a burly young man and soon I was almost dead. But the moon must have seen responsibilty or something in me and saved me. Adjusting to it all was difficult but everyone once and a while when April Fool's was about to be forgotten I would remind them of the fun we would have. Without me, a lot of the world would be all grumpy and non-cheerfull.
Becoming a immortal is hard and also the biggest responsibilty you could get. But I aced it easyily. And I still do. And now I'll ace being a new Guardian. Thats one of the reasons this story exists: about us new guardians and how we'll be able to change the world.
