OMM!!!! Megaforce finally aired, therefore kicking off the 20th season of Power Rangers! What did you all think? I honestly had mixed feelings.
I loved that so many Mighty Morphin' aspects/refrences were made, such as Ernie's Brain Freeze, the random teleportation to receive powers, the comment about teenagers, and the fact that GOSEI was the mentor of ZORDON!!!!! (Zordon was the blue head in a tube in MM, newbies!) I ADORE THE MORPH!!!! Total throwback to Mighty Morphin', but they also made it unique.
I LOVED seeing all my old favorite rangers from the Epic Ranger War scenes, and the decoration in the...Mega Cave? Mega Lab? Mega Ops? I don't know, they never gave a name. (They showed Turbo, Wild Force, Mystic Force, Time Force, Zeo, and Mighty Morphin' for all you newbies) I do love Emma, Troy, and Jake.
What I didn't like-
I don't like Gia and Noah. Gia is a popular, spoiled princess in my opinion (Feel free to disagree) and Noah is jerky and a show-off. The morphers are kinda awkwardly huge. The little robot is strange, I miss Alpha. And moogers were better than the new creatures. Overall, I have mixed feelings about Megaforce, but I can't wait til the next episode. Well, Gia and Noah are actually pretty cool, along with the others. True, Gia has a popular type of personality, but that's okay. Cuz you don't want all of the previous rangers to have the same personality as the newer ones, then you'll just have your typical ranger, and that would be boring. So I'm glad that they're changing up their personalities; variety is a good thing to have.(; And Noah doesn't seem like a jerk. He seems quite funny and nerdish.

I like the show , but it seems like they're trying to do a remake of Samurai and Mighty Morphin'. Some of the eppies sound like PRS and MMPR too.
I don't really agree about Gia. Like I sort of do, but personally I hate every ranger in the first episode. I hope that as it goes on they can make her look less snotty. I also hate the morphers. They look cheesy and big. But I have hope that this will be better than samurai. I hope that Gia becomes more likable because I normally like the yellow rangers cause their more tomboy(and I love yellow). I can't wait for the next episode.

and me being like Emma, Kind, Nurturing. But She liks nature, and plants etc. and I am more social, and considered more popular. I'm not sure how I feel about Noah or Troy. Noah seems a little too nerdy, and Troy seems 2-Dimensional, little bland, and boring. I agree about the morphemes. No way they could fit something that big in a pocket. Well they could keep them in there jacket, hoddie, blazer, etc. But where do there cards come from? But i understand the were limited by the Sentai Footage. I miss Alpha to :( , and the Moogers are much better but they don't have a choice because of the Sentai Footage. But i think they have changed the Foot soldiers for Power Rangers before. I'm excited for the next episode to!
@BLoom1067 I totally agree, the first episode was absolutely awesome, but I'm still kind of iffy about how i feel about the show. We can't really tell to much about it yet considering there has only been one episode. I loved that we got to see some un-morphed combat! It wasn't super unrealistic either. But I had one small problem, their acting. It is not that their acting was bad, I thought Jake, and Emma did great with their acting. But sometimes it wasn't very good. I loved all the references too, especially the Kimberly hair reference. The war scene is from Gokaiger the 2011 Pirate themed Super Sentai. Christina Masterson (Pink) confirmed there ill be no past rangers in this season but we just have to wait for Super Megaforce. I not sure how i feel about Gia and Noah, i just feel iffy about Troy. I liked how intelligent Gia was, and her confidence. It reminds me of me and my best friends friendship. Her being like Gia, Smart, Confident - *Continued in next part

I Agree with pretty much EVERYTHING! I thought it was awesome that they made so many references to Mighty Morphin! Brings back my childhood a bit! Oh good! I thought I was the only one who didn't like Gia! She just seems kind of cold (no offense to anyone who likes her), but maybe that will change over time (possibly if she ends up with jake?) and I like Emma, Jake, and Noah (Troy is okay but he didn't really show his personality that much (my opinion, anyone can disagree). I can't wait until the next episodes either, just to see how it turns out. And I love their new catch phrase

i like noah... even more than kevin! i guess i like gia cuz ciara hanna seems nice & fun lol... noah/gia/jake are my favs. and vrak. and roboknight who i know nothing about but he's cool. and shiny. and the morphers are too big and too talkative. i like the moogers better. and rinshi. and the uh s.p.d ones. yeah....
