"Because of me, Little Sis, you can't have a free life, but I can make it last longer," were some of the last words Saira told me, a few months ago, before she did "it". I am mad at her, but still...
I clutched the keys to my motor-bike in one hand and my deck in the other. My deck...I wish I never learned how to duel.
My mom glanced at me through her car mirror. " You miss her don't you?"she asked me. Looking up, I pictured my big brother and my big sister. Even though I'm the youngest, I am between those two.
"Of course I miss her, Mom. I also miss Kohaku and Dad," I said. The first part wasn't really true. How can I miss someone who is linked to me? Oh wait, nobody knows what happened except me.
"I know, Izuna, but this was your father's and my decision. It's just hard for us since your older sister is gone. And don't worry. They live at the other side of Heartland City; you can visit them whenever you like," Mom assured.
"What about school? You told me about our new house, and your new job, and all that, but what about school?"I mumbled.
"You're going to Heartland Academy. I'm going to pick up your uniform today, later, and they'll be arranging a student to guide you around the building when you start."
Before I could say anything else, Mom stopped the car. I looked out the window and saw a white house with a black roof. This is it. The beginning of my new life.
OK so when should we start the book. Oh and i also have a character.
Role: She was found on the island lost. She really is a guardian under cover. There is a big evil in the forest and she is trying to find it. She is hiding from Chris because she was framed. The evil spirits did something very bad. They stole the Power of Peace. Sophie was there trying to stop them. They got away from the power and Chris blamed her for stealing it.
"Be careful of Izuna," this, "Stay away from Izuna,"that. All Astral talks about is avoiding the new girl. I can't take it anymore. "Would you quit it?! There's nothing bad about my frined!"I yelled. All day, I was up in my room, re-building my deck and worrying about Izuna. Astral, on the other hand, should get a life. Kari came into my room,"Keep it down, Yuma. I'm working on my news report!" I hid my deck behind me,"Sorry, sis. I be much more quieter!" Kari sighed, then went back downstairs.I setted down my deck, then glared at Astral,"Like I said, Izuna's not a bad person. She's just a tomboy." "Yuma, what is a tomboy?" "A tomboy? Well, they're girls who don't seem like girls. They act more like boys,"I answered. "Then that's not it. I'm not saying Izuna's a bad person, it's just that there is something dangerous about her." Izuna, dangerous, blah blah blah, is all I heard. Nothing's wrong with Izuna!"
I feel like I'm ditching, even though Mom knows I'm not feeling good. Now, I'm walking home, hoping that "they" aren't following me. I passed a shopping district, and I noticed a very familiar cotton-candy-pink-colored-hair girl. There was a brown haired girl with her, who's in my science class and is the other girl's cousin. Her name is Nicole Davis. I ignored those two and started to walk away. Then, she caught me. "Oh. If it isn't the new girl, whose claiming Shark as her own,"Riley purred. "Shush it, Riley!"Nicole yanked at Riley's arm. "Hold on. Listen, Izuna, I don't know why you're so close with Shark, but he won't always be there for you. He'll leave you one day and no one will be by your side." I held fists, tightly. Why is Riley saying such things to me?! Especially when I don't care? I walked off. "Hold on! How is it that you and Shark are already close, especially when I know so much more about him than you?" That's it!!! I turned around and yelled, right at her face,"DON'T GET THE WRONG IDEA. We're just childhood friends! Go after him, if you'd like. See if I care!" I took off. Not because I was angry, but also because my headaches are starting to come back. Everyday, it keeps getting worse. I don't know how much longer I can suppress this.
Riley and Nicole stared at Izuna, then walked away. "You need to do something about your mouth, before everyone starts to hate you! And your tongue's sharper when talking to Izuna. Why? Do you hate her?" "I don't hate Izuna. It's just that I envy her. Her sense of style isn't something that I'd like, but she has something that makes me want to be friends with her. And I talk worse, when around her, since I'm nervous to speak to her. I'm an idiot. I don't really have interests in Shark, that much, anymore but I can't help flirting with him. Probably since the moment I saw Izuna, I was shocked." "That's just you, Riley. Don't try to make excuses,"Nicole said. "Okay...but the other thing is that there's something I find scary about her. I don't know what it is, but it makes me shiver. Izuna's probably holding a secret. A secret that must be kept shut for good." She isn't wrong. Izuna must make sure that her secret is never revealed...or else! But it's probably too late.
The latest, I'll be posting the next chapter, will be Sunday. xxwolfehxx, I've got a character suggestion:
Role: One of the guardians of the rare and powerful dueling card.
Personality: Stubborn, and independent. He wishes to use the card he guards, but cannot even get close to it. (The cards that the guardians guard cannot be drawn, or else they'll give you a painful shock, just like Izuna's Celestial Luna and Celestial Solar Monsters."
Like the secret of rare and powerful( more powerful than a number card) dueling cards. And the guardians of those powerful cards will not allow anybody to have them.( Again, this is just a suggestion. You don't have to consider it)
I like that idea. But to make it more interesting, how about adding that in the race, they end up getting lost and have to find their way home. You don't have to consider this idea, it's just a suggestion.
