I'm sure we all have a favorite song that we listen to all the time. But, what about a song that describes you or your life?
Please put the name of the song, the artist, and the reason why it is the "theme song" of your life ( if it is too personal you dont have to put the reason).
The "theme song" of my live would either be "A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri or "A Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton (it's weird how they both have the word "thousand" in them).
"A Place In This World" ~Taylor Swift (my fave artist) Lately this has been my theme song because i'm just trying to get my life in order to set me up for the future. Getting everything straight, my religion, school work, and fitting in fun with it all. I'm just trying to find my "place in this world". Emmas2fan
One song that describes my life, ironically, is one I wrote. Here's the story. Every time I fall for someone, I always act on those feelings too late. Each heartbreak I get still haunts me to this day. The Song's Name is Slow at the Draw. It's a country song. I wrote it last year.
Hmm...
"I Am Me" by Willow Smith
When I was younger, I tried to be like everyone else. Finally I learned that I Am Me (Nice play on words, I know)
"Someone Like You" by Adele
"Part of Me" by Katy Perry
"Somebody That I Used To Know" by Gotye ft. Kimbra
I moved when I was little, and I had a best friend there. I moved back when I was 6 or 7. My best friend had changed. She was wearing LIPGLOSS, her hair was dyed, (It was brown before I moved, when I moved back it was blonde) and she was acting... how do I put this? Preppy. Cheerleader-like. One time, she had her cellphone out (That's right. HER CELLPHONE.) and I was talking to her, she was talking to me too. I heard the person on the phone say "Who's that?" and she said, IN THESE EXACT WORDS, "Oh, it's.... just somebody I used to know." TRUE STORY
-Karika
Every Storm by Gary Allan
I chose this song because it doesn't seem like I have any good days at first anymore. But at the end,it seems to come back together. It might take a while, but it does. Keep believing, guys.
Mukashi Mukashi no Kyou no Boku, aka Once upon a Me by Hatsune Miku. It's no like I expressed my feelings on the exterior, I just kept them to myself. I can truly relate to that song now that I have moved from my original place in the Metro-D.C Area. Three years from then, I have many great friends who support me. It's wonderful. <-- supposed to be tears of joy
-I'm Not Okay(I Promise)~ My Chemical Romance, because well,I'm not
-If You Knew~ Joel Faviere, not gonna say, but if you listen to the song you'll probably catch on
-Such Small Hands~ La Dispute,I don't really know why but I connect with this song on such a personal level that it has to be on the list
-Skylines and Turnstiles~ My Chemical Romance, because I love this song and I feel like it's part of me in a way, can't explain it
Part of Me-Katy Perry(No reason!!)
What doesn't kill you-Kelly Clarkson
(It describes when my bff left me)
I kissed a girl-Katy Perry(The reason is too graphic for Nick.com.)
I have a bunch more..
I probably won't call these the "Theme Song (s)" of my life, but I still can relate to them:
Almost anything by Owl City. His music seriously describes my feelings (not to be cheesy or anything), but I can relate to almost all of his music. It's so dreamy, like nothing you've ever listened to before. Some people hate on him because they think that it is "kiddie music" but they just don't realize that it is not based on reality, but of someplace in your imagination (again, not to be cheesy or anything). His music has meaning behind it, for example: 'Kamikaze' is about when Eve took the great fall in the Garden of Eden and is about what lies ahead in the future. 'Tip of the Iceberg' is about going through hard times (winter) and keeping your head up. (I can really relate to all of his music.) So Owl City is kind of like the 'music artist' of my life if that makes any since. Yeah. Thanks to anyone who made it through my long emotional post! ^ ^
