The Feeding America network of food banks is thankful for your support and the dedication to the Stamp Out Hunger food drive! Your help provides food and hope to more than 50 million Americans who struggle with hunger. To make sure the food that is donated is safe, check out the guidelines below!

Top Non-Perishable Food Items You Could Donate Are:

  • Cereal
  • Pasta
  • Rice
  • 100% Juice
  • Canned Fruits and Vegetabls
  • Canned Meals Such as Soups, Chili, Pasta
  • Pasta Sauce or Spaghetti Sauce
  • Peanut Butter
  • Beans: Canned or Dry
  • Canned Protein: Tuna, Chicken, Turkey
  • Macaroni & Cheese

You can also help by encouraging people to donate food that is still within its "Best If Used By" date! Please don't include any food that is opened, damaged, out of code or does not have the official ingredients included. It will be discarded by the Food Bank in the sorting process. Also, please do not collect food in glass jars.

Please Don't Collect Any Perishable Food Like:

  • Any Form of Individual Baby Food Products

    including: formula, jarred vegetables and fruits, meals, snacks, infant cereal (Baby food may be donated by the case or pallet, but single item donations present potential risks and special handling requirements!)

  • Homemade Food or Home Canned Items
  • Frozen Food

Donations of non-food items such as diapers, laundry detergent, soap, toilet paper, and household cleaning items varies by food bank. You can still collect these items if they are donated, but not all food banks or agencies will be able to accept these items.
