Actually, if you watched the POM episode where the cube was in, both Kowalski and Julien were in the cube, and they didn't switch bodies. Maybe the body switch thing only happens in humans? Also, the troop's cube feeds on human emotions, and Kowalski's cube fed on fruit. Something to think about.
