With the multiple-use cartridge improvement made by Leslie Stockley in 1984, the Blaster can be used in various ways. There are flame cartridges, incendiary cartridges, and many other types. The most common use of a blaster incorporates a percussive wave that can both repel and render some creatures unconscious.
