WEBBING LAUNCHER

4 foot titanium tube with heavy nitrogen launching engine; Synthetic net

Webs were handheld in early Troop days. But due to the close proximity of Troop members to monsters (necessary for successful net throwing), many Troop members were lost to injury and death. In the late 1200s, in China, an early version of the webbing launcher was created, allowing Troop members to be a safe distance from a monster while casting a net. In current versions, a launched net automatically wraps tightly around its target.
